"Melody doesn't know anything, so please don't blame her for this." Keith Coleman was afraid Rose Shaw would ostracize Melody Monroe because of it, or that some misunderstanding would arise.
"Of course I won't blame her. I just don't understand—what game are you two playing? Is Melody having trouble getting roles recently because of Evan Fairchild?"
"It is President Fairchild's idea, but he has absolutely no intention of blacklisting Melody! He just wants her to leave Stellaris of her own accord. But what can you do? She just refuses to leave!"
Rose Shaw nodded. She understood everything now.
'So, it seems Evan Fairchild cares about Melody even more than I thought.'
"Of course Melody won't leave."
"It's only a matter of time before Melody leaves Stellaris," Keith Coleman retorted immediately.
"That's right. But whether it's sooner or later... that remains to be seen."
