Keith Coleman was a staunch bachelor who believed in no marriage and no kids. He'd had so many girlfriends he probably couldn't even count them all.
What Rose Shaw needed was a reliable, down-to-earth man. Only then could she feel secure enough to move on from the shadows of her past.
Rose Shaw finished her cold drink, feeling a bit better. She said to Melody Monroe, "I'm heading back to the office. You should go home and get some rest."
"Okay." Melody Monroe nodded.
"Keith, take Melody home."
"Sure thing, Rose."
Rose Shaw walked away quickly. 'She really couldn't stand Keith Coleman. The way he said her name gave her goosebumps.'
Keith Coleman watched Rose Shaw leave. When he turned back, he met Melody Monroe's gaze and was startled.
"Keith, do you have a thing for Rose?"
"Rose is so beautiful. Who wouldn't like her?"
"Keith, let me tell you something. Don't you dare mess with Rose. If you do, I'll be the first one to come after you!" Melody's warning was serious.
