She stood up and walked outside.
Just outside stood several familiar figures.
"Well, well! Isn't this Rose?" Wayne Payne's voice rose a few notches, sounding impossibly enthusiastic.
"Rose, what are you doing here? What a coincidence!" Raymond Ford chimed in.
Rose Shaw looked at their disgusting faces, her own expression cold as she remained silent.
When President Lewis saw Rose Shaw, a flicker of embarrassment crossed his eyes. In the past, he would have shown Rose Shaw some courtesy. Now, things were different.
"Rose, you didn't come to ask President Lewis for a sponsorship, did you? Haven't you heard? I'm here today to sign a contract with him. I'm the new product spokesperson. I'm afraid you've made this trip for nothing," Raymond Ford said smugly.
"Since President Lewis isn't available, I'll take my leave," Rose Shaw said, then turned to walk out.
Raymond Ford wasn't about to let Rose Shaw get away that easily and immediately chased after her.
