She was already a good distance away, but she could still hear the voices behind her.
A wave of emotion crashed through Melody Monroe's heart. It took a long time for her to calm down.

Rose Shaw had sent a company car to pick them up. The car was waiting nearby, and the driver came over to greet them as soon as he saw them exit the airport.
"Is Rose at the office?" Melody Monroe asked the driver.
"She's at the office."
"Winter Kane, take my things back to Golden Garden first. Talia Mercer and I are heading to the office."
"Okay." Winter Kane nodded. "In that case, just drop me off once we're in the city. I'll grab a cab from there."

"That's all for today."
