Chapter 1 - Prologe: Here we go (Edi)

"So I get a spin on this thing, and I get a world where I go, just because you said so? And you're the ROB?" I asked the... man? in front of me.

Imagine walking out of work, and just as you step through the door, boom—you find yourself in a white room, with a human-shaped amber figure standing in front of you, saying he'll send you to another world. No questions allowed.

That's no fun at all.

"Yup, yup, and yup. So—you roll, or I roll you up?" he said, staring at me?

Man, you know what, I'll go with the flow and see what happens."Okay, why not."

I spun it, and names flashed around before stopping on Strike the Blood. Yup, the pervert vampire universe. At least it's not some medieval world.

The being just nodded."Now to your wishes. You get four. Take your time."

I looked at him, unsure."Anything?"

He gave a small nod."Except the three O's—yes, anything."

I thought for a moment, then got an idea."Hey, why not make it a little more interesting?"

He raised an eyebrow."How?"

"You said I could wish for anything, right? So how about we do it like character creation? I'll build one with background, history, strength, and abilities—and you judge if it's equal to four wishes. Then just make it so I awaken my memories at a certain age."

He pondered for a bit."Interesting indeed. Okay, keep going."

I nodded, thinking to myself: Now, since I need to be on Itogami Island around the same time as Gojo, it's better to be an adult by then. Being a teenager won't help much. And strength…

After a while, I looked up at the being."First of all, I'm not a fan of the series. I only know the anime and some stuff from the fandom wiki, so if I break any lore or rules, just tell me."

He nodded, so I continued."Let's start with this: I'm an orphan found by a strike mage on the shore of Itogami Island, floating alone in a boat at the age of one. He raises me as his son. But what he doesn't know is that I'm a nature-born vampire, on the level of the Fourth or maybe stronger. That's the beginning. How's that? Do I need to change anything?"

He gave me a look."You've got some imagination. But what do you mean by 'nature-born'? As you know, vampires in that world are cursed beings—born from divas."

I nodded."Yeah. All I know is that the first three primogenitors were divas or something before they turned, and the Fourth was created by them. I don't want to be part of that. I figured nature itself gave birth to me in some way. And I got transferred to Itogami Island. I don't have a clear idea of the power scale, though..."

"How about I adjust it to fit that world?" he said.

That surprised me, but I was excited."Pretty please!"

He looked at me for a moment and said,"How about this: Your body is that of a boy born on a ship. But during a pirate attack, a spatial storm caused by the split of Kaleid Blood forms a space-time rift that sucks everything in, including your ship. That's the start. But… do you really need to be a vampire?"

I blinked, surprised."It's not the vampire part I want, just the power. As long as I'm strong—or can become strong—it's fine. But… did you really have to kill the lady?"

He looked at me with a surprised smile."No, I won't kill her. It's just that her and her son's fate was to die. I'll just put you into the body after I alter it and wipe the memories clean. That way, you'll have no emotional attachments before awakening."

I sighed. Well, at least there won't be any regrets.

He continued,"Since you have no clear reference, how about making you a beast shifter with your own familiars?"

I was confused but answered,"Shifter? Like a werebeast? Okay, as long as I'm strong or can become strong."

He nodded."Okay, let's do it like this: As the ship is getting sucked into the rift, a spirit of water notices you but can't help. So, she prays to 'Mother Nature.' To her shock, a light in the shape of a woman appears near the ship—it's the avatar of nature herself.

Taking pity on the newborn life, all she can do in that moment is bless you with Nature's Heart, turning your heart into something half-spirit, deeply connected to nature. She hopes it'll help you survive the chaos energy of the storm. As a final act, she places a barrier around the empty ship."

He looked at me. I honestly didn't know how to respond. This being just came up with a whole light novel plot out of nowhere.

"All good now?" he asked."So, let's count that as two wishes."

I nodded, still half-dazed.

"Now, on to your power set."

And man—I must've had a huge grin on my face right then.

It's been a lifetime since I felt this excited.

Thinking that, I dove back into the talking mist.
