(Ichinose's POV)
We both picked out a book and sat there together with out mugs of hot chocolate, I personally just got a standard one with chocolate dusting on top, meanwhile Lucy... white chocolate hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows, milk chocolate AND white chocolate sprinkles and a chocolate flake that i have no clue where she got it from... I swear this girl is just too good for her own good.
We sat there for about an hour and a half snuggling into each other, books in hand, silent in each others comfort and warmth. This is the quietest ive ever seen her and actually enjoying herself. That small, calm and cute smile on her face is something i want to see more often, I stare at her for a moment too long as she picks up on it and asks, "Are you okay Ichichi? Is there something o my face?"
"Pfft." I couldn't help but laugh, "There is something on your face~"
She cutely scrunches up her face and starts wiping at it aimlessly, adorable.... "Hey where is it!? Is it gone? Did I get it?"
I giggle again, "You did! Such a smart girl for getting it all on your own~" I could never pass up an opportunity to tease her like this.
"Huuuuuuuuuuuh!?" She blushes a fierce red, "H-hey! That's like totally unfair! Catching me off guard like that! Hmpf!"
"Even with a pout your the most adorable thing on earth~" I might be pushing my luck here a bit but its just so fun!
"Heeeeeeeey! Stop iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!" She starts swatting at my arm gently with her hands tucked into her sleeves.
It's moments like this that I live for now, these meaningless, cute interactions with this girl just makes my heart flutter so much. I don't know what it is but she seems so different when were alone than when we are in public, more gentle and cute. Is it a show of trust and true love?
I grin wide and hug her tightly, "I love you~"
After hearing no response, I pull back and see her mouth agape, stunned, "H-hey... are you okay?"
(3rd POV)
Lucy Hall feels warmth, not the kind of warmth when she's by a fire, or the kind of warmth when people do as she asks, nor is it the type of warmth she feels when Miyu mothers and cares for her.
The warmth she feels now reminds her of a feeling she had a long time ago, a previous life. The feeling of someone truly loving her, the feeling she had when she woke up in the mornings to see her whole family looking at her as she joins them at the table for breakfast.
She used to get that feeling all the time from her family n her past life it felt normal to feel it, but after the absence of that feeling for 16 long years it hit her like a red honda on the side walk.
Unable to respond, Ichinose grew worried and realized she hadn't told her that before that she loved her.
(Ichinose's POV)
D-did I say it too early? Does she not feel the same? Have i messed up?
"oomf!" Wh-what the hell?
*sniff sniff* She's... crying? Lucy is hugging me so tightly, as if afraid id just up and disappear.
I hold her head close to my chest and pat her head, a soft smile on my face as I look down at my girlfriend. "I really do love you so much." I said.
And the water works flowed all too fast, cute sniffles reached my ears and I just melted. At this moment in time, I want it all to freeze, all of it. I want now to never stop, this may be the true Lucy... No fake theatrics, no violence, no manipulations. Just Lucy showing her true emotions.
"I love you too..." Were the words that were quietly whispered as she stopped crying, my heart beats a thousand times a second and I understand why she was crying, I'm just... so happy!

After a while we left the private corner of the library we were in and I rush her to the bathroom without anyone seeing us so she can clean herself up, she hasn't said anything since those last words but she doesn't have to, I just ramble at her and she's smiling while holding onto me. If she doesn't want to talk then so be it, as long as she's happy.
I wait outside of the bathroom for a good 10 minutes and she's completely back to 'normal'. Full mischievous smile and all, "Come on, we have to catch the movie in 20 minutes."
She grins and walks oh so slowly, "baaah, it's fine!" She waves a hand in my direction, "There's gunna be like half an hour of trailers before the movie actually starts anyway."
I struggle a smile onto my face, "actually I knew you would say that... that's why I told you the movie starts at half 3 instead of when the ads start playing at 3..."
She blinks at me, and again... and one more time, "Ichichi." She gives me a look that promises pain, "You know I hate being lied to right?"
Luckily for me I do have one trick up my sleeve, "That's why I phrased it the way I did my cute little kitten~" She blushes and breaks her dominant look, "I said the Movie starts at half 3, not that the scheduled time to be there was 3."
Come on Ichinose, you thought this through! You know she appreciates someone being cunning and smart... Please tell me you were right! "HAHAHAHAHHAA! Well played!"
Phew~
"By the way Ichinose," Ichinose? Using my last name? Not a nickname? "I'm going to punish you for this." Aaaaaaand there's that dreadful smile that promises pain again!
"You can try kitten~ but we both know who's in charge when it comes to punishment~" Her eyes go wide and I can tell she's thinking back on the night that we-
*cough cough*
"Anyway lets go!" I grab her hand and start speed walking toward the cinema, her following in a dazed state.
So cute.

After the movie we bump into Kushida and a few of her friends, "Hey Kushida~" I wave.
Kushida looks over to us and waves back with a smile, "Hey guys, we were just going to get some food, wanna tag along?" She looks back to Shinohara and Inogashira as if asking for approval and receives nods from both of them.
I think the offer over for a moment and decide to shake my head, "Sorry but we have plans, I would love to meet up sometime over the break though!"
She smiles and nods her head, "Sure! Just text me whenever! See ya guys~" And they walk away chatting amongst themselves.
I feel a tug at my sleeve and look over to Lucy, "We don't have plans for the next few hours."
I grin, "Sure we do~" She looks confused so I explain, "We're gunna head back to your room and your gunna play on your game while I play with you~"
For the hundredth time today, Lucy is blushing up a storm, "HEY STOP DOING THAT!"
I run for a few steps and turn around giggling at her, "Come on!"
(Lucy's POV, back at her dorm)
I thought Christmas would be boring as it is every other year but today... I've been having so much fun... I smile as Ichinose dies on my game, she wanted to have a turn and I've found out she isn't too good with online games.
I don't know how this girl is making me act like I have been today but... I don't mind it. I guess sometimes... It's okay to let someone else lead me around for a little while. Not once today have I felt the need to be in control and it's a little freeing, not an ounce of adrenaline and yet I feel amazing.
I walk to behind Ichinose and drape my arms and head over her shoulders, whispering into her ear, "I love you~"
She turns her head and smiles, "I love you too kitty kat~"
It's now I feel the weight of my cat ears on top of my head more, a deep flush rising on my face. "Hmpf!"
*Ding!*
"hm?" I look over and see my phone screen turned on, I best look at it, "Sorry it's me ehe."
"No problem, next rounds starting anyway. Hehe, TIME TO GET MY FIRST KILL!" I look up at the monitor and it's round 21... *Sigh*
"Maybe if you stop moving while shooting, you would hit more shots~" She swivels in my chair and gives me evils, *Giggle*.
I open my phone and see it's from Ayanokoji reading:
Ayanokoji: Meet me outside the dorms in 20 minutes, it's important.
Lucy: No.
*Ping* Ugh, I open my phone again.
Ayanokoji: It will be fun.
hmmmmmmmm... I walk back over to Ichinose again and slip the left headphone off of her ear, "Hey Ichichi, I'll be back in half an hour okay? Just got to go do something real quick and then we can open presents!"
She doesn't look at me but smiles, "Okay kitty cat~"
I should probably take these cat ears off before I leave the room...

I'm met with a deadpan stare as usual when I spot Ayanokoji, "Why are you wearing cat ears?"
My head moves to the side in mock confusion, "Don't you think they suite me?"
His face doesn't change, "Sure, anyway I want you to know that Kushida is no threat to me. Anything she tries is bound to fail, besides I won't be participating in this little game you want to play anymore."
huh? "You lied to me Ayanokoji." This is unacceptable.
"When did I lie?" He looks genuinely confused.
"You told me this would be fun... To be honest, I'm just disappointed. I thought you were the perfect human, turns out your too blind to see that I wont stop coming for you."
He looks dead into my eyes, "I'm sorry but I simply don't care about climbing to class A anymore, I will do nothing more than I need to."
*Sigh* My sigh was long and drawn out, "Fine then, it seems I simply need to pay 20 million points to have you expelled then."
He turns his head to me, "What?" Now I have his attention. good~
I smile a sad smile, "What do you mean what? It's obvious you know that 20 million points can save you from expulsion, you think I can't pay the same for the opposite?"
He doesn't respond, "I didn't want you to be expelled 'cos I thought it would be fun to battle you and watch you grow into my perfect opponent, but it's not all lost! If your expelled then you will go back to the white room and I'll benefit from that too!"
His look turns cold, I smile. This is the first time I've seen emotion from him, to most people his empty look would seem like there's no emotion on his face but I know... That this is his way of expressing dissatisfaction. "What are you talking about?"
*Giggle* "Isn't it obvious Mr perfect?" My smile turns evil, "I bought you."

(Ichinose's POV)
The front door opens and in comes a happy Lucy, "What are you so smiley about kitty~?"
She giggles, "I found a mouse is all~"
I don't know what that means but I do know she's happy so I wont push, instead I reach behind my back and pick up the small present, "I have something for you~"
Her eyes light up, "What, what is it!?" She tries to dance around me to see but I turn so she can't every time she moves.
"Calm down and I'll show you." She sits on the bed and her leg is bouncing up and down over and over, I'm completely aware she can't control it so I just smile warmly and bring it out from behind my back.
It was a pair of fluffy pajamas, kitty pajamas to be exact. They were white and the top was more of a hoodie, with the hood being a kitty head making her look like a cat when it's up.
Her eyes sparkle and she jumps at me to grab them, "Hehe, You said presents are meaningless as you would just buy anything yourself so I went a little selfish and bought something I want to see you in." I smiled wide and watched as she changed her baggy trousers with the bottoms of the pajamas.
She grinned, "They're so warm!" She moved her hips around and I can see the fur rubbing against them.
"I'm glad you like them, now change the top as well! It's guna look so cute!" I can't wait to see!
Suddenly she looked a little uncomfortable, biting her cheek, "What's wrong?" I gently place my hand against her cheek to show I can see her biting it from the inside.
She stops biting but still looks uncomfortable, "Honami..." I can tell this is serious so I sit next to her on the bed and patiently wait for her to explain herself, "You remember when I left school during the sports festival?"
I nod my head, "I do, now that I think about it, I haven't seen you take your top off since then."
She plays with the hem of her fluffy bottoms, "Erm... s-so I had to do a thing... Promise to not be mad?"
I shake my head, agreeing to her promise, "Go on."
"Mmm..." Slowly, oh so slowly she stands and turns around, lifting her hair so it covers her face and then proceeds to slowly lift her hoodie. I know she doesn't wear a shirt under it most of the time so I immediately see the skin of her back and then... it turns black... and there's writing that says 'Fumei' and large image of an Oni mask, and then a dragon twisting and flying high on her back.
Naturally I know what that represents... Yakuza... "What is this?"
Lucy turns around with her eyes shut tight...
(Lucy's POV)
I turn around and at some point I squeeze my eyes shut, I don't want to see the disappointment on her face... "I-.... I'm part of a gang."
Honami 'hm's' and I feel a sudden weight gently wrap around me, "It's okay." She whispers.
"I-it is? Y-you don't hate me?" How is she not disgusted with me? The girl who had a midlife crisis for something as petty as stealing a hairclip?
I feel her squeeze a little tighter, "I could never hate you, that's just the facts. I'm not sure how I feel about it but I'm ready to accept your decisions, your my girlfriend and I love every part of you."
She holds my half naked form for a while longer and when she lets go I quickly pull on the pajamas she bought me and scramble to put my cat ears back on my head, I turn toward her and show her my vulnerability in all it's glory, "meow."
She bursts out laughing and so do I, but there's one last thing that needs to be done, "Time to open your present now!"
Realization dawns on her face and I can tell she's getting all excited so I don't wait too long, opening my drawers and pull out a wrapped gift small and rectangular.
She grins as she opens it neatly and then confusion is on her face, "You got me a second phone? How come?"
"It's not just any phone Ichichi, it's YOUR phone."
Her eyes open wide in shock, "Wait you mean...?"
I wrap my arm around her waist, "Mhm~ You can call outside numbers, including your sister and mom."
She screeches loudly and hugs me for the trillionth time today, "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH!"
I giggle loudly, "Now go to your room for a while and make that call, I'm sure your family would love to hear from you on Christmas day."
She nods happily, planting kisses all over my face, "MWAH MWAH MWAH! YOUR THE BEST GIRLFRIEND EVER!"
I smile as she practically sprints out of my room outside, she's so excited she forgot to close my door, "I really am, aren't I?"
Clicking the power button on my phone, I message Sensei:
Lucy: Thank you sensei, she loved it
Chie: told you~
Lucy: meany sensei for charging me so much *pouts*
Chie: silly girl
I smile a gentle smile as I go back to the home screen, a display of only 261,289 points remaining. Checking my transaction history, -1,500,000
