Chen Yang was as aloof as the wind, his entire focus on the float before him.
Based on the experience he had accumulated over the past few days, he could tell from the float's movement that it was likely a crucian carp.
And so it was.
Chen Yang suddenly lifted his rod. A crucian carp, weighing a good half-pound, was unwillingly hauled up, furiously wiggling its tail with its mouth agape.
He removed the hook and, just as he had with the small carp before, released it back into the river.
The middle-aged man was astonished. This guy is just ignoring me? He won't even spare me a glance, solely focused on fishing? He's too arrogant! But to call it arrogance... that indifferent aura emanating from him is enough to make one's heart palpitate, making them afraid to act rashly.
His composure wasn't feigned; it was the ultimate expression of complete and utter confidence.
Involuntarily, the middle-aged man nodded in appreciation.
