Amatesa is currently meeting with the seer. The room is dark and only lit by the light of candles. They enlarge as Amatesa passes them and shrink as she continues past them. They are a range of multiple colors mostly around the red spectrum. Amatesa follows the candles to a dark figure. Completely cloaked in a hood and the darkness. Amatesa couldn't make eye contact with the figure, or make out any shape on them. She was hesitant to speak but when she did.
"Hello, my name is..."
Amatesa was interrupted.
"Amatesa, you want to know more about your father. What lies ahead for you is a path that can not come back from. You'll uncover something very deep about your past and your family by doing so. But I already know your answer. There's a snowy desert in the north that you'll be able to get more information from. The day you arrive, someone will already be looking for you and will bring you closer to your father."
"A snowy desert up north... the Lazer region?" Amatesa asked.
"Precisely."
Amatesa took some time plotting in her head. "Oh wait, what else would I find there?"
"Your past. Before your memory faded out. That's all I can say for now," the seer responded.
Amatesa looked puzzled. She didn't realize she has forgotten anything. She has always been with her current family. Being raised as a dragon. "Thank you for your time. I'll proceed with caution but I must get my answer."
"You be safe young one." The seer said as they went transparent and completely disappeared. The candles behind Amatesa lit up, showing the pathway out. She looked back to the area where the seer was sitting was completely gone. As she walked out, the space behind her started vanishing at the same time. When she made it back out, the area was completely gone as if it was never there.
"Did you get the answer you needed? Leon asked.
"Yes, I know where to go next. Let's head back to the hotel for tonight and head back in the morning." Amatesa said.
As the group went back the way came to avoid the traps, Turquoise noticed something.
"Guys, someone is coming. There's a lot of footsteps approaching us." Turquoise cloaked herself in faded in a tree. Amatesa covered herself in her scales. Leon had no ability, however...
"We know you are out there, show your faces and face us head on." Leon shouted. Out of the darkness came a group of six men who looked like they were on a hunt. They had assorted weapons of swords, daggers, and bows among them.
"You MONSTERS need to leave our country! We don't want any of your kind here." The leader shouted to Leon. "All of you monsters always cause trouble wherever you go. You won't kill any of our people."
"If that's all, then we're already on our way out. We didn't plan on staying any longer." Amatesa said. Leon was ready to fight, though he had no idea what was being said. Amatesa whispers to him in beast, "they just want us gone."
From the opposing side however was a familiar figure. Raphael appeared. "THESE are the beast you wanted me to get rid of? I'd be happy to. Amatesa looks like I can return the neck twist you so politely gave me." Amatesa turned around and then noticed they were pinched.
"Leon, this guy behind us is very powerful. I'll hold him off, you make a break in front of us. With him here, they will definitely kill us if given the chance." Amatesa says to Leon as he nods in agreement.
As Amatesa starts to approach Raphael, he slices the air with his sword to make a projectile cut in the air. He aimed it at the tree Turquoise originally jumped in. However, the tree came down and she was nowhere to be seen. "I didn't know your kind was capable of being so stealthy, I'll have to keep a tab on that. No matter, she's weak and puny, she's of no concern." Raphael said grinning. Amatesa got enraged.
"None of us are weak and puny." She shouted as she ran towards Raphael. She went to punch him straight but Raphael blocked it with his blades. Her scales were covering her first preventing any cuts. Raphael attempted to use his swordplay skill. He does a flurry of attacks in rapid succession. However, Amatesa dodged all of them and when he stopped swinging, she went for a spin kick to the head, taking the momentum of the dodge and putting it into the kick. He ducked the kick and tried to go for a cut to her abdomen. Amatesa while her foot was still arching back used her standing foot to jump backwards.
Leon was facing the six men alone. They came running him in pairs of two to overwhelm him. He stood his ground and proceeded to evade the blades and knock out the man. The people weren't fighters so their attacks were wide and slow and Leon could avoid any serious damage they tried to do. He tried to avoid killing them by knocking them down but they were very resilient. They kept picking themselves back up and rushing him in pairs. Then what appeared to be completely random, all of the men fell simultaneously. Leon noticed they all had gotten stuck in the neck at some point.
Amatesa and Raphael were still going at it with no signs of any one of them getting ahead. Amatesa incapable of being hurt but Raphael avoiding everything critical. Raphael noticed all of the men falling over. "These guys are pathetic." He mumbled. He then used a skill to summon chains to bind Amatesa however it required him to put his swords away. Amatesa struggled to get out but she couldn't break the chains as their magic was very high leveled. Raphael then ran over to Leon's group, Leon prepared to counter attack, but Raphael threw out a second set of chains and binder him as well. He went and picked up the men off of the ground. They were still in a daze. Raphael then grabbed the air behind him, catching a dart in his hand. Turquoise had been secretly shooting darts she can create from her scales and had a toxin that relaxed the nervous system. Raphael tried tracking her, but anytime he would see her, she would vanish to another location.
Then a new voice could be heard. "It's about time you left here, knight." A teenage boy then appeared from the night wielding a cracked sword. Leon looked up and recognized him from earlier at the beach with Turquoise.
"It's past your bedtime little boy, don't stick your nose in business that doesn't belong to you," Raphael said in heated anger.
"Nah, it is business. You can't make our city look bad by trying to kill those who don't look like you." The teenager said. He then put his hand in the air and then moved it downward to the core of his blade. This then created a shining blade where the missing part of the sword blade was. Raphael instantly knew the technique.
"I rather not fight You. I'll take these weakling with me. I won't allow any monsters to eat any humans. Watch your back monster lover, you could get a target on your back." Raphael left with the other men. With his disappearance the chains also left as well.
Turquoise then jumped down from the tree and ran over to Amatesa. "Are you alright Aunt Tesa?" She started hugging her, "he didn't hurt you right?"
"No, I'm fine. He couldn't possibly hurt me. Did you call your friend to help? Wasn't he at the beach earlier?" Amatesa asked.
"He was. He has this cool talent to talk to spirits." Turquoise said.
"Yea, my spirits told me that you guys were in trouble and I came rushing over. You can't see them but they can be anywhere at almost anytime. I just so happen to be awake and one of them told me what was going on. Glad I could be helpful." The teenager explained.
"Thank you and the spirits. What's your name? We should definitely thank you properly." Amatesa asked.
"I am You, but everyone calls me Joe. My family only goes by our family name so my friends named me Joe." Joe explained.
"He's the cool one in the group." Turquoise said.
"Sure, sure, anyway. Thanks again. We do need to head out. If you ever find yourself in the South, you're always welcome to drop by. We don't want to overstay our welcome here." Amatesa said while making sure Leon was alright, who has no clue what's being said.
"You have a safe trip. I hope the seer gave you the answer you were looking for." Joe said while showing them the way out to a safe road behind the city.
"I got an answer, I just need to take time to figure it out." Amatesa said.
