Since Xiao Yi had been gone for so long and Xiao Qiu had moved most of his things into the team building with Lee, the apartment had indeed changed quite a bit.

The 'living room' had shifted entirely, ending up right in front of the balcony doors where Xiao Qiu's setup used to be. In its place was a bunk bed, and two more bunk beds were inside of Xiao Qiu's old room.

Xiao Yi's room was the only place that had been left untouched. Its door was closed, and it hadn't been opened since the day he'd left, and no one was in a hurry to open it.

Even if he was gone for another year, they would have made it a point to keep it exactly as was.

This was something that Xiao Yi noticed as he continued to pull into the apartment by one hug after another, until he finally landed on the couch between Mu Yichen and Xiao Qiu. On the other side of Xiao Qiu, Lee had somehow made room for himself to be next to his boyfriend.

V was the only person not here, since he hadn't been home, but Xiao Yi was feeling a bit overwhelmed either way.

Xiao Qiu squeezed his cheeks. "My little brother's all grown up, huh? Running away, not letting us know you're safe, do you know how worried I was?"

Xiao Yi nodded. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry my ass, I was just worried!"

He nodded again. "I know, I should have at least sent a text to let you know I'd found a place…"

Lee hummed in response. "You should have. Did you check your messages?"

Xiao Yi leaned forward and looked past Xiao Qiu to glare at Lee. He simply stated. "I won't call you brother-in-law."

Li Hao cackled. "I knew it!"

Lee gasped and acted offended. "You won't?"

"I won't."

"But I'm going to be your brother-in-law."

"Did I agree?"

"Your brother agreed."

Xiao Yi repeated himself, staring daggers into Lee's face. "Did I agree?"

Lee held up his hands. "Honey, do you hear him?"

Xiao Yi shifted his gaze from Lee to his older brother.

Neither of the Xiao siblings had dated before, but Xiao Yi wasn't surprised that his brother was gay. When they were younger, Xiao Qiu's gaze would linger a little too long on the male idols, but he didn't seem particularly interested in female idols.

Lee wasn't a bad match, either. If he made his brother happy, then he had no complaints. He just wanted to see how long he could play with him.

"Well…" Xiao Qiu glanced between the two men on either side, as if debating which side he was going to choose before coughing. "You guys figure it out among yourselves."

"…"

Li Hao joined in. "I don't know if I'd want to call you brother-in-law either."

Chen Qiang hummed.

Xiao Yi clicked his tongue. "You aren't married yet."

He would consider calling him brother-in-law after he married.

The door swung open just then, and V threw himself over the couch to hug Xiao Yi. "You're back!"

Then, the perfectly tailored collar of his suit jacket was grabbed, and he was pulled off the couch. Li Hao was standing behind him, a small smirk on his face as V fought to take off the jacket.

"Hey!"

"You ignored the group chat again!"

Mu Yichen and Tang An instinctively shot up, trying to grab one of Li Hao's arms as he spun around and dodged them, all while holding onto V's suit.

V yelled out. "It's going to rip, it's going to rip!"

Xiao Yi looked at the scene and thought to himself. 'They haven't changed.'
