Chen Feifei stubbornly refused to admit it. Tan Mingshan and Han Dong didn't know what to say, and Professor Chen kept his brows tightly furrowed in silence.
In those few seconds of delay, the spider swarm closed in again.
"I don't care anymore! To hell with the mission, I'm not saving a bitch!" With that, Bai Xi ran forward. Tan Mingshan and Han Dong grabbed Professor Chen and fled for their lives, ignoring Chen Feifei as well.
She brought this upon herself.
Professor Chen sighed helplessly. Chen Feifei scrambled to her feet and rushed to catch up with the group, but it was too late. The mother spider had caught up.
Bai Xi had run quite a distance when the glowing mission screen appeared before her eyes again.
