When we arrived we were taken to a small chamber with a bunk bed , a small table with a lamb on it and clothes on it , there was also a small window.Myla took the lower bed and I took the upper.We sat on the floor for about thirty minutes crying. we only got off the floor when a spider crawled on Myla's dress.
After like an hour a woman who looked at her early thirties came inside our chamber without even knocking.She had a wicked smirk on her face."I am Regina the head of all the servants in this palace.You are expected to obey and respect me at all times.If not punishment will follow."the woman said.
She asked us to follow her and she led us straight into the kitchen."I have assigned the two of you to be peeling and chopping every vegetable needed to cook.
She gave both of us knives and told us to start by peeling five kilograms of potatoes in an hour because the king was expecting guest who were to eat fries.After she left we started crying again asking what we did workin deserve all this.
After an hour Regina came back with four girls who i guessed were servants also because they wore clothes like the ones which were on the small table back in our chamber.They were holding big bowls.
"you have not even started peeling the potatoes " Regina yelled.She slapped the both of us and pinched our ears."you little girls are so lazy .I am going to asign new jobs for you two."she yelled.
we went to a room full of brooms and mobs and buckets.She told me to take one mob and a bucket and wait for her .As she left she took Myla with her .After twenty minutes of waiting she came back.
" I have decided to separate the two of you because you seem to get lazy when your together.You will also not be sharing the same chamber anymore."she said.
She led me to a hall and told me that is where i would be working every single day until she assign me somewhere else.
