Gannicus stared at the man in front of him. The man had an ordinary appearance and wore a plain, brown magic robe that concealed his entire body except his head and neck. However, his muscular neck and gaunt face betrayed the terrifying physical force he had beneath his plain-looking appearance. All these features fell within Gannicus' gaze and made him very certain that he was before the famous bounty hunter, Killswitch.
Killswitch was a sorcerer who migrated from the desert regions of the Esoteric Sorcerers Association in the south to the Eastern Forests. Therefore, not much was known about his background. What had been confirmed over the years, though, was that he started as a common mortal who learned the human knight breathing techniques and became as powerful as a Grand Knight, the highest level of the knight profession that could be compared to a Pseudo-First Rank Sorcerer of the Sorcerer profession.
