We make it out of the club, the flames like hell behind us. I usher them all into my car, hoping the others have made it out too. The sirens are getting closer as I dial Salvatore's number, hoping to fuck he's still alive but I still couldn't get through, I'm pretty sure he was with my brothers when the whole thing went down. Frustrated, I get in the car and toss my phone onto the dashboard, and then drive the fuck out of there.
Just before I leave the parking lot, I glance through my rearview mirror, my heart squeezing so tight it feels like I'm bleeding inside. The Manor is gone. Once again, a home of mine is engulfed by flames.
