We head over to the park across the street and take a seat on an empty bench where she finally calms down. "Okay, I'm serious now. What's so bad about falling for him?" she asks.
I draw my knees up and sit cross-legged on the bench, thinking about Giovanni and his stupid handsome smirk once again. "I can't."
"Why can't you?"
"Because…"
"Because?"
"Because we're not from the same world, Hedy. And we both agreed this is only casual. He doesn't do relationships and if I fall for him, that would complicate things. And then there's that woman from last night who said she's pregnant and that he might be the father."
"The keyword being "might", what if he isn't the father? And men can change. They say they don't want a relationship but from the looks of it, girl, he's obsessed with you and I mean in a good way. If he was a total asshole, he would've kept his distance after he got what he wanted, which was to sleep with you. But he still wanted you even after that, right?"
"I guess…"
