I clenched my fingers around the coffee mug, staring down at the battered body of Molly. I knew I couldn't kill her cause word will get to Ariana but I was very sure of teaching her a lesson so she knows how to keep her dirty mouth shut.
"Holding up well dear Molly?" I asked with little to no interest in how she's doing.
"PleâŠpleaâŠ.please make it stop! Why are you doing this?" She choked on her own tears.
"Heard about your rant to my woman and how confident you were talking down on her, why don't I sense that confidence now?"
"Please I'm sorry! I didn't mean any of the things I said, if..if you want I can apologize to her right now, just please let me go!" She cried.
"When you learn to behave, I'll get you out of here."
I walked back to my study room and collapsed on my chair whilst rubbing the back of my neck. I've had to take care of a lot of possible threats to Ariana because she knows nothing about my world. I'm caught up with work and can't see Ariana for a while. She has refused to return to our room or even speak to me. Which is making me furious but I'm holding it all back.
Suddenly I get an urgent meeting invitation out of the country regarding Carlos and I's fight the other day, not that I give a shit about what the board thinks but Ariana is involved so i have to be there .
I'll be gone for a week so I decided to inform her myself and make up for the things I did in the past. I walked to Melinda's maid wing and knocked on the door. Less than 20 seconds after the door opened and there stood Ariana. I examined her face and body for a split second before saying a word to her. She just stood there, staring back at me with a cocked eyebrow.
"Is there anything you need?"
"Yeah."
"Which is?" She inquired.
"You."
I noticed her shift away from the door to hide her blush so I took that opportunity to grab her arm gently and pull her away towards our bedroom. She sat on the bed and watched me closely. I walked up to her and started kissing up her neck and she allowed me.
I sucked on her neck gently but enough to leave a love bite there. I kissed up her earlobes and went for her lips when she pushed me away. I was caught off balance so I stumbled a few steps but eventually caught myself. I turned to her in shock and saw a frown plastered on her face.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"What do you think I am doing?" I smirked.
"Trying to kiss your way into earning my forgiveness. It doesn't work that way, I already asked you to leave me alone unless you need me to clean the whole mansion for you then I will."
"Molly and I had been involved with each other a long time ago. She helped me in my room when I got myself drunk and I mistook her for someone else and I had sex with her. Since then she's been rattling her big mouth to everyone that cares to listen about being my girl. So I didn't mess around with her intentionally."
"How do I know you're telling the truth?" She questioned.
"Because I am Damian Carter, I don't do lies.
"Why did you bring me here?"
"I'll be leaving for Japan soon and will be staying a week. I figured you'd prefer me telling you about it myself than finding out that I'm gone."
"OhâŠit's fine."
I smiled.
"Can I go back now? Melinda is probably wondering where I disappeared to."
"Nice try but you're staying here. This is your room now and I won't tolerate you sleeping anywhere else. In case you're forgetting, you are mine my baby."
"Everyone is looking at me weirdly now and it makes me feel uncomfortable."
I moved closely to her now cause that's a clue on her mood. She has relaxed. I then snaked my hands around her waist and bury my head on her chest. We stayed in that position a little longer causing her to unconsciously run her hands through my hair. I then went to lie on the bed while she followed and so I easily drifted off to sleep but it wouldn't last for long as my phone rang continuously.
