Watching his wife and daughter converse, Jennifer stood up with a smile, gently saying, "Honey, our daughter has come back from so far and must be starving. Let's quickly make lunch."
Olivia nodded, wiped her tears with her hand, and turned to head to the kitchen.
As soon as his wife left, Oliver could no longer hold back the longing in his heart. He sat down next to Lily, trembling as he opened his arms. "Mom's gone, sweet daughter, let Daddy give you a hug."
Lily smiled sweetly and threw herself into his embrace. The next second, Lily felt her father's arms wrap around her like two large pythons. "Dad, you're squeezing me to death."
Oliver quickly released his grip. Gathering his emotions, he looked at Lily in front of him, his face constantly showing an uncontrollable smile. "Our little biscuit has grown up so much."
Lily jumped up, spinning joyfully in front of her father, "Daddy, look, I'm a grown-up now!"
