Roy held the helm in his hand, his eyes filled with unease as he looked at the slightly ajar cabin door nearby. The old captain had rushed out to argue with his compatriots, and it had been some time.
Why hasn't he come back yet? Could it have turned into a conflict?
Behind him, at a table, the first mate and the second officer, both with equally white hair, were whispering about something, creating a strange atmosphere in the cockpit.
"Bang!" With a loud bang, the door was pushed open from the outside, and the Unicorne's captain, Roger, stormed in.
"Old buddy, how did the discussion go? Did you convince those outsiders to turn the AIS back on?" the first mate on the ship asked.
"Do I look like it was negotiated? Hmph! These guys actually said it's his rule and it must be followed. It's crazy."
"I've been captaining ships for so many years, and I've never heard of such a requirement. If I had known these guys would do this, even ten times the price wouldn't make me agree!"
