"Becoming a god allows you to go to the Earth's surface? If that were true, when I went to school, the surface would have descended into chaos long ago. There must be something between the Earth Sea and the surface blocking the way."
Charles gently drew his wife into his embrace.
Anna frowned immediately, "Oh, you're so torn about things. Do you really want to go back or not? Just hesitating doesn't help."
"Decide your goal first, and then strive with everything you've got to achieve it."
When he heard Anna's words, a flash of the beautiful images from his recent dream crossed Charles's mind. He murmured softly, "After all these years, I thought I had let it go, but I can fool others, but I can't fool myself."
"Ever since my memory returned, I've started thinking about them again, even though their faces have begun to blur, even though I've forgotten their names." Charles's face was laden with a deep sense of longing as he spoke.
