Lina's piercing gaze saw Bran was slightly distracted. With the opportunity presented to her, she click a small button on the stick and throw it to Bran's neck.
Midair, a sharp metal was pulled on the other end of the stick but before it can reach its target's neck, Bran was able to raise his unoccupied hand and blocked the sharp edge of the stick.
Still, the sharp edge pierces his palm through the back of his hand.
Bran's face becomes distorted due to searing pain and fuming anger.
"You!---"
But before Bran can retort, Lina appeared in front of him. Her agile movement was the result of her training as well.
Lina hold the gun and twisted it hard and pluck the stick from Bran's hand. Blood gushed from his gaping wound, his index finger fractured and his wrist was sprained.
Bran let out an agonizing shout.
"Argh!!!"
Lina didn't stop and kicked Bran in his groin which made the latter's knees go limp.
Bran slumped on the ground with his beet-red face.
