"Are you sure about this?" Naruto asked, looking uncertain.
"Don't worry about it. We'll be here with you." They had returned to the other continent once again.
Now Minato and Kushina were with him, along with Yamato and Tsuna. Everyone was there in case something went wrong. After all, the moment had finally come.
A month had passed.
Naruto trained every day. For most of the day, he stayed with Minato between strength training and practicing his jutsus. Afterwards, he trained with Kushina in everything he needed, and at night, he went to the Uzumaki Clan to learn from the elders.
Naruto had increased his weight from 16,000 kilograms to 30,000 kg, which had a very powerful effect on his body. His regenerative capabilities and muscles were becoming increasingly powerful, but there was a limit.
Even with Mokuton cells, his body could only withstand up to 50,000 kg, which was already far more than Might Guy would ever use. However, that was probably the limit Minato could estimate for Naruto through his perception. Naruto's body was still that of a human from this world, and there would always be a limit.
Minato, however, was a different story. His body, being naturally from the world of One Piece, had far more potential than Naruto's.
Even so, Naruto was beginning to give Minato quite a challenge. Now, Minato's own weights amounted to 100,000 kg pressing down on his body. He almost felt like a simple Academy student again.
And even though Naruto also possessed the sensory ability to predict movements through the flow of chakra itself, like the most powerful sensors, without using Sage Mode, Minato still had the advantage due to his Observation Haki. Furthermore, he was finally beginning to acquire Future Sight thanks to those kinds of training sessions.
In battle, Minato could still win without using techniques or anything else, but Naruto was no longer getting completely one-sidedly beaten.
However, by the end of every training session, his body was certainly destroyed. All his muscles—and even Minato could feel this in himself—were devastated by the weight they endured through several hours of sparring.
And today, on this particular day, they would finally deal with Kurama inside Naruto. Since they did not possess the key to the seal, with it still being on Mount Myoboku in the other world, they had to do everything the hard way. Minato, Tsuna, and Kushina had spent the last month studying the Shinigami seal, known as the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style, and had discovered on their own how to create a key capable of breaking it.
It was not something simple, but they had an entire month to study it, using Naruto as a reference while analyzing his sealing system. The three masters of fūinjutsu, who surpassed even the most powerful Uzumakis in the field and were the three greatest in the world, succeeded.
"Well, Minato and I will handle this. We'll try talking to Kurama first. We can't bring too many people in there, because she'll already be quite offended and have her ego bruised," Kushina murmured.
"Alright. We'll be nearby if you need anything," Tsuna replied.
Naruto was a little nervous, but Minato and Kushina guided him to a corner among all the destroyed areas that had been created in the location.
Naruto sat down after taking off his shirt and entered the lotus position. Minato and Kushina approached him, each placing one hand on his back.
Then Minato raised his other hand and formed several seals. A fūinjutsu appeared around them. In the next moment, Minato and Kushina entered Naruto's mental landscape. He was there as well.
Naruto blinked and looked at the still-closed gate, but what surprised everyone were the red eyes right beside the bars.
Kurama was already waiting, and Naruto swallowed hard.
She growled in the next moment. "Do you think you can just come here with two people and try to dominate me? Do you think I'll give in that easily? I am the Nine-Tailed Fox!"
Kushina was about to speak, but Minato grabbed her hand before looking at her and shaking his head, as if asking her not to interfere.
"Minato..." she murmured.
Meanwhile, Minato looked at Kurama and Naruto. "Don't you see, Kushina? She's testing him." Kurama let out another growl directly at Naruto.
"She knows we can simply force her to give Naruto chakra. It would be easy. But she'll never fight by his side that way. Look at her eyes. She's looking at him as if he isn't worthy. She wants him to fight this battle himself." Minato could feel that through his Haki.
He could understand the feelings Kurama was conveying. Even if the challenges in the other world could later destroy Naruto's world or allow even greater threats to emerge, Kurama still wouldn't simply hand everything over to Naruto. She would fight against him, but she wanted him to prove himself, not rely on other people.
It wasn't for nothing that they had been training for almost two months since Naruto arrived in that world.
His progress had been immense, and he was ready, more ready than he had been before conquering the fox in the original story...
Kurama continued staring at Naruto with an obvious challenge in her eyes. Naruto seemed a little lost and turned his gaze back to his parents from this world.
Minato simply took out a scroll and tossed it to Naruto. "Here's the key. Sorry, Naruto, but this is a battle you'll have to fight yourself. We can't interfere."
Naruto stared at him in surprise. "I have to fight Kurama?" Naruto couldn't hide his shock before turning his attention back to Minato and Kushina's eyes.
Kushina looked worried, but his father's gaze showed unwavering determination.
He had to fight. He had to prove his worth.
There was a confidence Naruto could see reflected in those blue eyes. Minato believed in him.
Even Kushina, despite her concern, began to show a smile. "Go on, Naruto. Prove that you're strong too, Dattebane!"
Despite his surprise at that change, Naruto quickly turned back to Kurama. He took a deep breath. "Alright... if that's how it is..." With those words, Naruto began to float, rising until he was level with the front of the gate.
Kurama's eyes remained fixed on him.
She was very close, only a few meters away, staring at him from the other side of the bars, waiting for him to open them so she could finally come out.
Naruto did not back down, and he first placed his hand on the paper seal that was above the lock.
At that exact moment, everyone could feel a new chakra emerging. Minato, Kushina, Kurama, and even Naruto himself felt it.
Now being a sensory ninja, Naruto could clearly perceive that new presence. A new chakra was appearing.
Then, at the same time, an explosion of Haki burst forth from Minato, expanding in every direction and spreading throughout Naruto's mental landscape.
Even Kurama, who could feel the chakra of the Minato who had sealed her, stopped paying attention to it and widened her eyes when she felt the immense pressure coming from that Minato standing beside the young Kushina.
Immediately, the Conqueror's Haki managed to suppress the chakra that was about to appear.
Kurama stepped back. She had never felt that power before, and she could feel an overwhelming weight, even though it was not directed at her.
'What kind of power is this?' She didn't know what it was, but it was extremely powerful and affected bijuu in a way she had never seen before, almost as if it were forcing her to kneel and capable of suppressing her if it were stronger than her own power...
Naruto was completely confused, still holding the paper seal half-open, looking at Minato, who was crackling with energy and releasing that force in all directions.
"You suppressed them?" Kushina asked, surprised.
Minato nodded. "Yes. It's not time for him to appear. Naruto isn't in danger here yet." Minato simply said.
It was highly likely that Naruto's real father would appear the moment he removed the seal. But with Conqueror's Haki, Minato had managed to simply suppress the fūinjutsu, preventing that from happening.
He wanted Naruto to meet his real parents when everything was over. Only when everything was over, not now. After all, Naruto had to prove that he was strong.
He would do the same thing if the real Kushina, Naruto's mother, also appeared. Of course, if anything happened to the boy, the two of them would interfere.
But Minato was certain that, with Naruto's current strength, he was far stronger; he possessed the power and even sealing techniques that his own counterpart would never have developed...
Naruto was still a little confused, but thanks to a nod from Minato signaling him to continue, he nodded back. Then he turned his attention to the seal.
He first removed the paper seal, and the lock appeared; it was a circle with several metal points. In any case, he took the scroll Minato had thrown to him and opened it, taking one of the sheets.
There was the entire key needed to deactivate the seal and release Kurama. In the next moment, Naruto placed the hand holding the paper onto the lock.
Several clicking sounds began to emerge, and the seal was finally being completely unlocked.
The instant the final lock of the circular structure came undone, the gate simply swung open.
Kurama slammed forcefully against the door before roaring.
ROOOOAAAAARRRR
Minato grabbed Kushina by the waist and simply shot into the sky while the two watched the fight from afar.
That gate did not reach the sky. It was about a hundred meters tall, but there was a barrier above it. Kurama could never simply jump over it.
Now that she had finally passed through the gate, however, it was a different story.
Meanwhile, Naruto retreated several meters, creating distance as he planted his feet on the ground. Naruto deactivated all the weights he normally used outside of battle and lightened his body.
His reflexes improved tremendously, and Kurama attempted to stomp him with one of her front paws.
Naruto leaped backward, avoiding the attack. Kurama opened her mouth and roared, releasing a shockwave through the sound itself. The force was so great that it pushed both the trees and Naruto backward.
"Damn... I need to be faster than that." The moment he decided to take the fight seriously, his eyes rapidly began to change as he entered Sage Mode.
Tsuna and the adult Yamato, outside Naruto's consciousness, could see the transformation around the eyes of Minato, who was seated in the lotus position.
Kurama was inside the forest, launching an attack with nearly all of her tails against Naruto.
Minato and Kushina watched as Naruto began leaping between the tails that surged toward him at tremendous speed. If not for Sage Mode's reflexes, Naruto would have had no way of facing Kurama at that moment.
Quickly, multiple clones began to appear as Naruto used his classic jutsu. Kurama became quite irritated by it, starting to take some of them down and causing explosions to erupt each time a clone was destroyed.
However, many managed to escape before advancing directly toward her face. Kurama roared at some of them, releasing another shockwave and blowing away all the clones in front of her. Some clones managed to move to her side and advanced with their fists, striking directly under her chin.
The force of the punch was so great that she lost her balance before falling to the side. Kurama smashed through several trees as her gigantic body finally emerged completely from her former prison.
That created an opening for Naruto. She was surprised when one of the clones simply grabbed one of her tails and, with monstrous strength, began lifting Kurama.
Weighing tons, the fox was lifted before being slammed into the ground as the clone threw her over his shoulder before she crashed into the earth.
Naruto, with red hair, looked at her with a satisfied smile as he landed on her stomach.
Kurama roared in fury.
"It's so cool! Our son is so handsome and incredible! Dattebane!" Kushina shouted from above as she watched the battle.
Minato smiled. Even though he felt like rolling his eyes at Kushina, who had been worried about Naruto until just a few minutes ago.
Kurama was about to get back up. But Naruto made his next move, and several Adamantine Chains exploded from his back, shooting out in every direction.
Kurama immediately had a bad feeling. The chains began wrapping around all of her tails and various parts of her body before one seized her neck, forcing her head backward.
She was unable to even launch a Bijūdama when one of the chains shot over her snout and sealed it completely shut.
There were more than twenty Adamantine Chains extending from Naruto's body. Kurama was now completely immobilized.
Minato let out a whistle at the result. In truth, he had always known that this ability was far too powerful. Given the fact that, in his memories of the original story, it had been used very little, its impact always ended up seeming much greater.
Whether it was Kushina using the Adamantine Chains to suppress the Fox itself in Naruto's world, or Karin suppressing that wooden creature that had overtaken Yamato and controlled his power, the one that had managed to summon that statue.
Even though it was not as powerful a version as Hashirama's Thousand-Armed Buddha, that creature had still managed to hold back the entire Shinobi Alliance.
And among everyone in the Shinobi Alliance who was still alive after Madara's rise, only Karin had managed to do something the entire Alliance had been unable to accomplish, even with the living Kage and Hiruzen's Edo Tensei included. Karin had used the Adamantine Chains and forced it to its knees, although she had only done so in order to pass through and find Sasuke dying.
Now, seeing Naruto there with Kurama bound within those chains, Minato could only conclude that she was completely subdued.
"What a terrifying technique..." Minato smiled.
