Naruto barely managed to react to the impact of a kick coming from the right side near his face. He barely managed to raise his arm before taking it, getting sent flying and crashing against the ground, while at the same time feeling his arm begin to tremble in pain.
"Damn... what is your skin made of?!", Naruto muttered, realizing he had been kicked as if by a solid iron bar, but it was just Minato's leg.
"Don't get distracted."
He lost sight of Minato, and the voice came from above him while Naruto tried to get away from there as fast as possible the moment he saw him. When he realized it, Minato was above his position, standing upside down against him, leaning his bent leg and putting force into the next impact he intended to unleash as he advanced, as if he were supported by some invisible platform. It was his geppo.
What was that?
When he kicked the invisible platform, he shot forward like a cannon, exploding the ground as he struck it with so much force that even Naruto was sent flying from the impact.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
He shouted as several clouds of smoke began appearing around them. Naruto had to do something to try and distract him, while Minato was already coming out of the crater he created and advancing toward Naruto, getting closer and closer to him.
The clones advanced, but Minato simply began to dance between them, dodging the punches and kicks the clones threw by mere millimeters. However, to Minato, that line of Naruto's clones trying to stop him was nothing.
Minato passed through all of them with ease, and when he reached the last ones, he simply advanced while shattering the ground and destroying any clone in front of him with his super-fast momentum.
Naruto, who was trying to create a Rasengan, immediately launched it at Minato as soon as he saw him, but the older man simply raised his hand and caught Naruto's Rasengan with ease.
Naruto widened his eyes when he saw Minato pull the Rasengan out of his hand, completely catching him off guard. He simply lost control of the technique like that and it passed over to Minato?!
In the next instant, Minato grabbed Naruto by the neck and lifted him into the air, staring at him with one hand around his throat and the other holding the Rasengan now in his own hand.
Naruto could only look at him with a frustrated and dazed expression before being released.
"Well, that was a good training session. Go get some rest," Minato said, making the Rasengan in his hand explode as he closed his fist.
"Let me try now, Minato! Dattebane!"
Kushina's voice appeared as she stepped onto the battlefield to train Naruto.
Naruto was surprised by that, but he simply had to leave while moving away from the two of them, heading toward two people nearby along with a toad, who had been watching Minato and Naruto's fight earlier.
Naruto was still a little lost on how to deal with those people. The toad, Fukasaku-San, he had never met before, but he knew he was someone important from the toad contract, someone he had never managed to summon or interact with before.
However, he was surprised that morning when he was introduced to Jiraiya's master and also to his father's master in that world, someone who taught the legendary Sage Mode technique.
Naruto had come to Mount Myōboku with Minato and a few other people to train that day. It had already been a week since he had returned to Konoha, and Minato had put him through hellish training.
First, there was the matter of his body using taijutsu every single day. That was meant to improve his body for what he was about to learn.
And he had certainly realized that, even if he was that man's son in that world, Minato did not go easy on him. After all, every day was hellish training, to the point where Naruto ended up collapsed on the ground, sometimes with broken bones, and practically dead from exhaustion.
Kushina would appear and complain about how harshly Minato was treating him. However, Minato kept saying that Kurama's chakra inside him healed him. So, after resting for just one night, he would already be recovered and ready to be destroyed again the next day...
And it was true. Which made everything even more hellish for Naruto, since he knew he would go through the same training and get beaten up again the following day.
"I see you're feeling down, kid."
One of the people spoke with a smile.
Naruto merely looked at him.
It was Jiraiya.
The Jiraiya of that world was about twenty years younger than the Jiraiya he knew. There were not as many wrinkles on his face, but he was still visibly the Jiraiya-sensei he knew...
Naruto had initially been surprised to discover that his father had also trained with him, even in that other world. In truth, he already knew, he just hadn't connected that the Fourth Hokage was his father at first because of his slow reasoning.
Jiraiya had formed Minato's team along with two of his current wives after the academy, Team 7 by coincidence, and the three of them had gone on an S-rank mission the very first time they left the village.
Meanwhile, Jiraiya had gone through those trainings of catching cats and pulling weeds. Then, his supposed father did the same thing with Kakashi. Then Kakashi did the same thing with Naruto's generation Team Seven.
Now he kind of understood. It seemed to be a vicious cycle.
Anyway, Naruto met Jiraiya a few days after returning to the village. The sannin had been investigating outside Konoha, practically carrying out the same role he had during Naruto's time, so he left the village again shortly after they returned.
It was a little strange for Naruto to interact with him, since that Jiraiya had no memories of him. Obviously, he wouldn't have any.
But Naruto could not complain. The man became very excited upon learning that they had trained together in the future and started treating him very well.
The other man beside him was none other than Nawaki Senju, Tsunade's younger brother. Naruto had also met Tsunade during those days and admitted that the two versions of her were extremely similar in many aspects, almost getting punched by her in this world as well, after all she also had a short temper, and he barely recognized her when she acted like a caring grandmother with Minato and Tsuna's daughter.
And Naruto could see that there was no weak and fearful Tsunade in that world. There was no reason for that, after all, her younger brother had survived.
Although Dan had died, he had left behind a daughter. It was easy to see that the Tsunade of that world was happier than the one from Naruto's world.
Naruto also ended up getting to know Nawaki quite well and became friends with him. The young man said that his grandmother was also an Uzumaki, just like Naruto's mother. And Mito, the First Hokage's wife, had taught his mother. It was interesting for Naruto to discover so much about the past of his country and things he had never imagined within the village, things that were connected to him somehow.
He had no idea what it meant to be an Uzumaki until he came to this world, and his father had said they would visit the Uzumaki clan in the coming weeks to see if Naruto could awaken the clan's bloodline abilities. Naruto had seen the clan from afar, standing atop the village walls, but he had not gone there yet, aside from seeing Uzumakis walking around the village and those that Miss Hanabi brought to train as well at the Namikaze residence training grounds.
Naruto sighed, returning to young Jiraiya's question.
"I can't beat him no matter what," Naruto admitted with some frustration, his father had only used taijutsu... "He simply plays around with my clones more than anyone I've ever fought. I guess I had no idea a perception level like that existed until I met my father from this world... and he doesn't even have a Sharingan!"
Naruto was a boy with two main jutsus: one was the Rasengan and the other was the Shadow Clone Jutsu. However, the clones had become useless against Minato, who always knew exactly where he was. Naruto could not fool him, and he was not even fighting someone with a Byakugan.
And there was also the Rasengan, which Minato had simply grabbed and stolen. How could he ever imagine that one day he would lose his Rasengan the moment it touched another person's palm? If it had been absorbed, he could at least accept it, but someone stealing it?!
Jiraiya started laughing, but suddenly, a giant explosion erupted behind Naruto. He widened his eyes and immediately jumped over to the men, staring in shock at the completely devastated battlefield.
There was his mother, glowing with a golden light, while his father stood on the other side with scales covering his body, a horn on his head, and a yellow tail behind him.
"Looks like they're going to fight seriously now," Nawaki commented with a whistle.
"What is this...?"
For the first time, Naruto was witnessing Minato and Kushina's true strength.
"Well, that's the power of the Nine-Tails that your mother controls," Jiraiya's words made Naruto look on in shock as he watched his mother glowing before disappearing at high speed toward his father. Even Kurama inside Naruto's stomach raised its head with interest.
"Minato-boy not only mastered the Sage Mode of the Toad Clan, but also learned how to use the Sage Mode of the Dragon Clan."
"Seriously?!"
Naruto barely had time to speak before an explosion made the entire battlefield tremble.
The force of the impact was so absurd that it even threw the three of them backward, forcing them to retreat.
But they barely had time to steady themselves before several explosions started erupting as Minato and Kushina exchanged blows at high speed, using super-speed and monstrous strength.
The entire ground began exploding under colossal impact forces.
"Good thing they're not doing this close to the clan center," Fugaku could not help but comment while observing the battle.
Naruto was speechless.
"They're really this strong...?" he exclaimed, even while seeing it with his own eyes.
"Well, your parents from this world are the most powerful people in the village. Didn't you already know that? This is a battle above Kage level..." Jiraiya raised an eyebrow at him.
"Of course I knew! But I wasn't expecting this, a fight with power like this at Kage level, what kind of joke is this?! They're still showing more power than when he fought the Nine-Tails!"
And to think his mother could also compare to him...
"Wait... what did you say about the Dragon Clan? Their Sage Mode," Naruto quickly asked.
"You didn't know? Your father has a contract with the dragons. He can summon a dragon."
Naruto began questioning just how many more things would still surprise him.
Even though he had been there for a week, hearing about his parents every day, he had no idea their strength was so incomparable.
And every day, he heard more surprises about their achievements and entire lives. Naruto had already started walking around the village, being able to visit it, despite some gossip about him living at the Namikaze family's house, since some people had seen him there.
It was strange for Naruto to walk around the village while none of them knew him or made hateful comments about him.
There was only curiosity. People asked what his relationship with the Namikaze family was, thinking he looked a bit like Minato. Some imagined he might be a cousin or another relative.
They might have even said he was his son if the age difference between the two of them were not only three years.
New explosions began erupting on the battlefield once again.
When Naruto looked, he saw Kushina appear holding a gigantic glowing Rasengan. An Oodama Rasengan! Minato did the same.
While Kushina infused the attack with Bijuu Bomb chakra, Minato added nature chakra, creating an even more powerful Rasengan.
However, he was not using the power of the fruit itself, thinking it could be dangerous for Kushina.
All three of them, with the exception of Naruto, widened their eyes upon seeing that.
"Hey, are they really going to do that?! Quick, we need to get out of here!" Jiraiya shouted.
Naruto saw the panic in the three of them and automatically joined in. They were 200 meters away from the clash, but everyone started moving. Even the toad began hopping away immediately.
He had no choice but to run, while looking back and watching the two attacks merge together.
The moment the two forces began glowing into two gigantic Oodama Rasengans, an explosive sound echoed throughout the entire region, to the point Naruto felt a sharp pain in his ears.
Then, in the very next instant, the explosion came.
Like a true force of nature, Naruto could only watch as the entire battlefield was swept away while staring in shock at the advancing shockwave.
The entirety of Mount Myōboku felt the force. Even the surrounding mountains were affected.
And, as if that were not enough, Naruto emerged from the middle of the rubble at least one kilometer away.
He heard a roar as he dropped a stone and watched all the dust spread before seeing an enormous nine-tailed fox made entirely of yellow energy manifesting itself.
"Honestly... what is even happening here... Dattebayo?" Naruto no longer knew what to say, because in the next moment, the fight between his mother and Minato simply turned into something he would never again be able to describe.
It was only after three hours that they finally stopped training.
Minato arrived at the place where everyone was gathered waiting for them, carrying Kushina in his arms like a princess in front of the group.
She had given the excuse that she was too tired to walk, keeping her face hidden against Minato's chest, who was shirtless due to the battle having become much more intense than he had imagined. His clothes were completely torn apart.
"Well, that was fun. Anyone want to eat?" Minato asked while looking at the group and raising an eyebrow.
Fugaku had sweat running down his forehead as he stared at Minato and Kushina. He knew that some mountains behind them had disappeared over the last few hours...
Jiraiya watched him as if he were looking at a monster.
"That's the savior? No way!" he muttered quietly.
But it was not just him. Even Nawaki was trembling.
Naruto, on the other hand, was in a corner sucking his thumb, completely curled up into himself.
Even Kushina seemed a little worried.
"Did you all get that scared?" Minato murmured, somewhat confused.
To tell the truth, they had not trained at Mount Myōboku in a very long time.
Their great evolution had come from the battles on the other continent, where they could devastate entire areas without needing to worry about anything.
They only wanted to recreate one of the battles they used to have in that place. Besides, there was no one other than Minato and his wives who could witness those battles.
Even when Minato brought his students along, he did not fight against his wives.
So it was normal for them to fight so freely.
It was the same thing as when everyone reacted after seeing Minato fighting Hanabi while using a portion of their powers, to the point of unleashing forces equivalent to two Bijuu Bombs against each other in the sky above the Land of Fire.
