Back in the Forgotten Region, Nicos stand up from his sleeping mat with a dark circle under his eyes. He wasn't able to sleep much because of the excitement of entering the Spirit Realm, like a kid who had been promised a trip to the amusement park on Christmas. When he went out of the little room he and Barnabas is sharing, he realized he was not the only one as Tabitha also suffer from the same predicament, she even look more haggard with the little Fox Spirit Beast trailing behind her with watery eyes – heaven know what the little Spirit beast had to endure in one night with her.
"Why does your hair look like a bird nest overturned by storm?" Barnabas asked teasingly, looking amusedly at Tabitha, he was the only one who had a sound sleep among the three of them.
"Hmph" she look away not bothering to banter with him.
"You look like someone lost in the wilderness all by yourself" Chloe said, she take a look at Tabitha and just shake her head, at least Nicos still fair well – better than she does, though they are still not use to the total makeover of Nicos, but one thing to take note of is that his hair still look slick and tidy. Chloe and Barnabas look at him almost like they were bewitched by his look, if not for the dark circle under his eyes, no one will know he had a sleepless night but that still add to his charm differently.
"Alfonso, please make sure to get something that will cover Nicos fully in the Spirit Realm, his look can bring more trouble than Tabitha tongue if one is not careful." Chloe said seriously.
"Silent prayer for Uncle Alfonso and Uncle Nakita, one can rain trouble with her unclothed mouth while the other can bring disaster with just his look." Barnabas said making a praying hand gesture.
"No wonder Tabitha is always rearing at breaking your head, hopefully you won't be beaten up too much because of your mouth" Chloe rolled her eyes
"Mum, is that a go ahead from you to beat him up to my heart content?" Tabitha asked eagerly
"No, don't disfigure my son head with that your spatula type of hand?"
"Mum!" Tabitha exclaimed
Everyone laugh and the atmosphere feels very calm, Chloe rarely smiles ever since Nicos incident, not to talk of making jokes which seems to be more often now.
"Did I missed anything?" Nakita said as he entered
"You've really made yourself at home here as you can enter and leave as you like." Chloe said as he turned to look at Nakita who just entered.
"It can't be helped" Nakita replied with a shrug
"Have you finally been able to name your Spirit beast?" Nakita asked Tabitha
Everyone turn to Tabitha, the episode of yesterday where she was trying to name her Spirit beast is still fresh in their mind, they were lucky to not have had a nightmare because of it. Tabitha eyes turned bright as if she has been suddenly injected with some kind of energy and her listlessness seems to have disappear while the Spirit beast wince behind her as if having a premonition that something is about to happen to it and step further away from her.
"Dew, come here." Tabitha turns to look at the little fox
Dew stood rooted in a place and look helplessly at everyone, seeking for refuge from them before she finally look toward Nicos. Everyone look at the Spirit beast wondering what makes it act this way.
"What, did you make this little fellow pass through?" Chloe asked her daughter
"Nothing Mum, just a whole night of bonding" Tabitha replied as she walk to the rooted Spirit beast and pick it up into her arm.
"At least, a decent name finally come out from you, from the look of the Spirit beast, one can imagine what it has to endure from you." Barnabas said.
"Okay, enough fooling around time does not wait for any one, you two prepare yourself and calm your mind, you will be trying to transfer your Spirit body to the Spirit Realm for the first time soon." Chloe said looking serious. Tabitha was cut off her response to Barnabas glare at him, if look could burn, Barnabas could have been barbecued into a crispy meat by now.
Entering the Spirit Realm might look easy but reverse is the case for the people that are just entering for the first time. One has to constantly maintain a clear mind to be able to tap into the connection that leads to Spirit Realm, failure to do that will lead to a long delay and the more this happens the more the chances get lower and entering becomes more difficult. Many people find it difficult to enter the Spirit Realm after failing the first few times and are just hoping for a stroke of luck and encounter to be able to enter the Spirit Realm, after gaining entrance once, doing it all over again will not pose a problem as the feeling will become a reflex action for everyone who have enter the Spirit Realm. But some people never have this luck or encounter and were forever unable to enter the Spirit Realm, this kind of people are the buttom level people in the society some decide to stay and continue in the light path while other fall into darkness.
"Sit down in a meditation position, since you all want to enter at the point you can hold each other hands in circle" Chloe said
Everyone except Chloe herself and Barnabas sat down in mediation position in a practice motion in circle and hold each other's hand. The Spirit beasts stay close to Nicos except for Dew that sat on Tabitha's lap. Since they will all be starting afresh again, they clear their mind and try to connect their Spirit root to the connection of the Spirit Realm only Nicos situation was peculiar because he does not have a Spirit root but a Spirit body in place of the Spirit root but still follow the same process of trying to connect with the connection of the Spirit Realm – what is the use of having a Spirit body if it can't connect to the Spirit Realm, though he seems scared and unsure, he still calm his mind and continue to try to connect his Spirit body with the Spirit Realm. "It will take a little while for you two, but remain focus and feel the connection." Chloe said softly to Tabitha and Nicos with more of her focus on Nicos.
After a while of staying in medication – no one knows how much time has pass as they were all concentrated at the moment, they all feel the linking of their Spirit with the Spirit Realm. The process of connecting with the Spirit Realm as always been a mystery with no universal solution to it, but the conclusion that human were able to come up with is that there is a form of gateway in the consciousness of every human and staying in meditation with a clear mind helps to be able to clearly locate the gateway and make a choice of which path to follow.
Chloe feel the subtle change in the atmosphere and knew that they have linked up with the Spirit Realm connection so she said, "now maintain that link and follow its guide to the Spirit Realm, don't have any distracting thought at this moment and maintain your focus." Chloe said softly, mostly instructing Nicos and Tabitha as Alfonso and Nakita already have the experience and does not need any guidelines.
Nicos and Tabitha follow the instruction instinctively and feel their inner Spirit leave their physical body, which zoomed speedily into a mysterious void space with a flickering light that guide their inner Spirit to the Spirit Realm. Chloe relaxed when she noticed that they have connect with the Spirit Realm, she was also surprise because the Spirit beast actually left with their physical body and she thought "there's a lot to be known about this Spirit beast". "Good luck on your new journey." She said leaving the room with Barnabas following her.
After what seems like a lifetime but also few seconds, they appear in the Spirit Realm, Nicos and Tabitha lost their footings and stumbled. It is understandable for them to feel disoriented because this is their first time in the Spirit Realm and because of the space transfer, but they felt they stumbled on something. Looking down they found the four Spirit beast who are trying to reorient themselves and relished on the abundant of the Spirit Essence in the atmosphere. Nicos and Tabitha where dumbfounded for a moment. "Seems like they can also gain entrance to the Spirit Realm" Nikata said, but what they did not know is that the Spirit beast actually enter with their physical body unlike them who enter with their inner spirit to form a Spirit Life in the Spiritual Realm.
