Nicos sit down and look around the living room which has been patched all around to form a shelter. The living room space only house some sitting stool and a small table.
He has really not take note of his surrounding as he has been wallowing in guilt until now. He gazed at his mother with so much respect and revere in his heart. She has been the pillar and support system for him till this very moment and it was her care and support for him that got him to this point. He vowed in his heart to make it up to her and give her the kind life she really deserve.
Nicos calm his heart and recount what he experienced from the beginning in the cave to the and without omitting any details expect for the process of his restoration. "There's such a place here, how come no one have discovered it all this while?" Nakita exclaimed
"There was." Nicos replied
"What do you mean by 'there was'?" Nakita asked him with a look of confusion
Everyone look at Nicos askance. The revelation of such a special space in the Forgotten Region will cause a huge uproar in the region as a whole.
"I'm sure you won't find the special space again if you go look for it" Nicos said "I will tell you the direction to get there and check for yourself if you don't believe me" he added.
"Tell me the direction and I will go check" Nakita said, obviously not believing that such a place won't exist again after it has been found. He is really looking forward finding such special space as so many things will be accomplished. It has to be known that in the whole of the Human world, there's no such thing, even the strong Empire does not have such thing in their territory, this kind of special space are usually find in the Spirit Realm and a lot of resources are usually expended to transfer droplets of it to the Human World not to mention a whole lake.
Nakita followed the direction Nicos gave him and found the cave. If no direction was given, Nakita won't be able to find this cave, he wonder how Nicos was able to discover such a cave but didn't dwell on it for too long and focus on finding the special space Nicos talked about following the route Nicos described to him.
"Let wait for a while, he will be back soon." Nicos said. Everyone nodded and wait for Nakita, they also want to confirm if the special space is still there, it will be a great boon for Forgotten Region as this might be the only way to change the current situation of the place. As place with no Spiritual Essence around, if the special space is still in the cave and they are able to find how to connect it to the Forgotten Region, everything will change.
Tabitha continue to scare the hell out of the little Fox with her obsessive look to the point where the little Fox has to climb on Nicos lap to hide itself and didn't dare to look at her direction. Nicos shake his head helplessly at this scene, he knows that nothing can be done to the fate of the little Fox the moment Tabitha has set her eyes on it and want the little Fox for herself, he could only do a silent prayer for the Fox has it is about to have a new owner.
Not long after, Nakita came back looking defeated, with the look on his face everyone knows the result of his findings and sigh. It would have been great if the Special space is still in the place, but now that it is no longer there, there's nothing they can do about it. "There's really no special space there anymore, I searched everywhere and even break some wall but couldn't find any that fit Nicos descriptions, though there were traces that indicate something happen there that makes me believe what Nicos said." Nakita said. "But, you really have an affinity with looking for caves and hidden spot. I have been walking through that spot but never knew there is a cave hidden behind those shrubs." He said looking at Nicos weirdly.
"You can only find what you seek" Nicos replied.
"You are right." Nakita respond.
"Back to the main topic, though it would have been good if the special space is there, but there is nothing we can do sine it is no longer there" Chloe said.
"So be it if it no longer there." Tabitha said though she still look disappointed but tried to hid it from everyone.
"Your spirit root has been restored?" Chloe asked looking at her son expectantly, this issue that has been plaguing her for the 6 years without finding any solution to it. It can be imagined how happy she is when Nicos said his Spirit root has been restored and she couldn't help but asked again for confirmation.
"Yes mom, it can't be anymore restored than it is right now" Nicos replied with a gravitating smile on his face, his mind felt at ease, like a burden has been dropped off his shoulders. After so long, all the ridicules, mockery, this might be the turnaround for everything in his life – a way to redeem himself.
"And I might have a way for us to gain entrance to the Spirit Realm" he added.
"What did you say?" Nakita shouted, feeling agitated. No matter how much he feels indebted to the Chloe, there are times he feel regret for the decision he made but he just didn't let it bug him much as he knew there will always be a way out, he also missed his daughter and didn't know how she is doing all this time that he has not been by her side, though he knows she will be able to take care of herself. Everyone also look at Nicos anxiously for him to confirm what he just said, finding a way to the Spirit Realm is the ultimate for everyone in the Human World, though not everyone is able to enter the Spirit Realm but no one will think of passing up the opportunity. Huge importance has been placed on been able to enter the Spirit Realm ever since it was connected to the Human World and there are many privileges attached to it. In their case, been able to enter the Spirit Realm means they might be able to find the way of changing the situation in Forgotten Region.
"Mum, can you allow me to hit this bloke head, why can't you just complete your statement once, do you have to break it in between or does it look like we are shooting a soap opera here?" Tabitha asked with her eyes splitting fire at Nicos.
"I second her" Barnabas added.
Nicos look at his siblings and thought to himself 'did I offend this two in my past life, why am I always their point of venting'. He can't even point at what he did wrong, 'were you all not the ones that are too agitated and didn't allow me to complete my statement, why are you making it seems like I am the one that is deliberating talking slowly'.
"Be quick to tell us how to connect to the Spirit Realm, why are you spacing out?" Tabitha said urging Nicos. "I promise you, if you don't start talking now I will break your head and drag your consciousness out for questioning" she added.
"It not up to that yet, Tabitha. But Nicos, why are you still not talking? I don't mind assisting Tabitha as long as we can be certain that your consciousness will speak faster than you" Nakita said.
"You two, can you stop threatening my son, won't he talk if you both keep quiet?" Chloe said, looking at Nakita and Tabitha speechlessly. They both look away embarrassingly after they have been called out. It can't be helped, the lure of being able to enter the Spirit Realm from the Forgotten Region where it has been said that it is impossible to gain entrance to the Spirit Realm from is just too great.
