My chest tightens as my eyes widen at his face. I feel sick, like my stomach is going to rip itself in two; my mind feels like it is going to shatter under the rage I feel building in my heart that rises straight up from my soul.
This scumbag, this piece of trash, this vile disgusting worm who humiliation, and now this fucking demon stands in front of me with his child in tow. I've never been happier than this moment.
Φ Standing up, the man in front of Captivant says, "It's Bell. Do you remember me?"
Rubbing his chin, Captivant says, "Not really? But given that big nose of yours, maybe you're the kid I found trying to sniff some of the aunties' clothes at church."
His son's eyes open wide as he asks, "Father?"
Quickly turning his head with a worried expression, he says, "It's just stupid things some young boys do. I grew out of it."
"Should I do it?"
"NO, and don't tell your mother about this."
Turning to face Captivant with a mean glare, he says, "That was uncalled for?"
"Should I really give you any grace, considering you're already the luckiest man alive to think any woman would take a goblin like you as your husband? Too bad that your son got your looks instead of your wife."
His son's head moves down as he moves upright to Captivant's face and says, "Keep the issue of adults between adults; don't pick on a fucking kid."
"Maybe you should teach your kid that words can't hurt him, and not to act like a freaky beast when faced with your flaws."
"Flaws? Says the man who was yelling at a kid like he stabbed him?"
"Your kid got in front of my way while I was running, and almost injured another human being. Maybe you, his father, should've taught him some common sense so I didn't have to scream it into the fool's head."
"Hey, I know we have some issue, but if you keep talking like that, I will make you pay."
Pressing his forehead against Bell's, he says, "Make me pay? Keep dreaming, you're nothing compared to me, boy."
Pulling back, he says, "Let's dish this out then; come with me so we don't destroy the field, and deal with Siegrund's wrath."
With a bright smile that beams a childish joy, Captivant says, "Fight with me, but don't think you can stop it once it starts."
-Break-
Within the 5th field, screams erupt across the area as within a medium-sized circle two men prepare to clash against each other, as the remaining people all bet on the outcome.
Stretching his back, Captivant looks at Bell, who cracks his knuckles and says, "You sure you want your boy watching this?"
"Of course, it will be a good way to show him what happens when one's words can't keep up with their actions."
Laughing, Captivant says, "Then let's give him a good show."
As one of Bell's friends shouts, "BEGIN!" Bell instantly lunges forward while maintaining a boxing form, before sending a single straight punch towards Captivant at high speed with Spirit Energy flowing through it.
Yet as he feels his fist shake, Captivant says, "Did you not think when I was able to get your friend off of me, that I could use Spirit Energy, idiot?"
"Of course I did; I knew Siegrund trained you as well. Still, I am just getting started."
Bell continues to throw single, quick but powerful punches, often following them up with kicks from his opposite leg as a way to try and catch Captivant out, yet the author dodges each and every single one of the attacks effortlessly.
The rotund man quickly starts running out of breath, and standing still, Captivant says, "I don't want to give you a heart attack, so come on, I won't dodge the next two."
"Don't play with me!"
"Oh then you'd need to stop this battle."
Stepping forward, he throws a powerful straight with his right fist, which Captivant grabs, then using all his strength his forces his body against his natural impulses and raises his right leg to smack try and smack against Captivant's left temple.
Reading the obvious flow of his Spirit Energy, Captivant dodges by ducking, and in the same movement moves behind Bell, bringing the man's right arm underneath his two legs, and forcibly pulls it upwards, smacking against Bell's balls as he damages the muscles in the man's arms at the same time.
Then, sweeping the standing left leg, he flings Bell into the air, before slamming his bell fist into the ground, making little cracks around it. "Your mind often works faster than your body, so if you're not careful, Spirit Energy flows exactly were you next strike is going to go before you do it, amateurish. I don't even know how Siegrund let you go with such an obvious weakness."
Captivant slams his foot into Bell, sending him flying to the edge of the arena, and causing the man's son to scream, "DADDY!"
He tries to run in, so Captivant says, "IF YOU ENTER THIS RING YOU'RE A TARGET!" Causing fear to halt his legs. So Captivant slowly walks over to the boy and crouches, then says, "Your father is reeling in pain, and the reason for that is due to some idiot lack of special awareness, and inability to properly apologise, and now that same coward stands outside her waiting for his father to fight his own battles as he rests in cosy comfort like a coward. I guess you must HATE YOUR FATHER!"
"I DON'T!"
"THEN COME ON IN AND JOIN! AND TAKE THE BEATING FOR HIM!"
The boy's face fills with fright as some of the adults around him try to grab Captivant as they say, "Eno-."
Yet he instantly swats them, sending their bodies flying through the sky to the back of the crowd, filling even more people with fear. "SO COME ON YOU LITTLE BIT-."
As he screams, Bell's fist comes towards his head, and he moves out of the way as Bell stands in front of his son. Glaring at Captivant, he says, "No one else has to get involved, just you and me."
Picking his nose, Captivant says, "Then maybe stop wasting my time and get up to fight next time."
Bell charges forward and continues to throw punch after punch, yet the guise of almost hitting Captivant vanishes as he dodges and slams blows into Bell after each strike.
He reads the flow of his opponent's Spirit Energy perfectly, relishing the blood of his enemy brought upon his fists as his mind returns to the other physical dominance Siegrund and Draga had put him through.
Smiling, he says, "Do you know the reason I am beating the shit out of you? It's because I travelled the world, I engage in challenge after challenge and overtook them all while adding the strength of all those I met with me. The new ideas and the new techniques I learned have brought me forward."
Bell throws another punch, and Captivant grabs his arm, sweeps his leg and then slams his body into the ground belly-first, before slamming his foot right into his spine, and pulling up his right arm forcible pushing it against its natural limits.
"And you, well you're just a dumb fuck farmer who's spent his entire life in the same fucking village from the moment he was born till the moment he dies. That's all you are, with no sense of self or power for your own. The only glory of victory attached to your name is the legacy you've inherited from those smarter and wiser than you without giving anything back? Ask yourself what the hell you have added to this land? What stories has your existence told that have given this that haven't existed beforehand? NOTHING! That's why you're completely incapable of defending or preserving the glory of Zaad Ziener, because you're nothing compared to those who made it, like each and every one of you dumb fucks, all you can do is busy work to keep yourselves thinking you're actually contributing shit to society as a whole. The ground that will be used to bury a worthless dreamless piece of trash like you is already too much!!!"
Faces of anger that are restrained by fear cover the entire area, but more than that, they weigh on the man whose body remains slammed into the ground as the words strike him more than any blow could.
"YOU'RE WRONG!" A voice shouts, ripping through the area.
Turning his head, Captivant sees Bell's son who says, "D-D-Daddy is always there when I am sad, he is always playing games with me like tag when I am a lonely, he is always making sure the kids who say I am too sensitive or boring don't bully me, he is always trying to protect the village and keep order, he always eats the experiments mom cooks even if it is disgusting, he always tries to smile even when things are getting worst, he never let's me feel sad no matter what goes wrong in the world, my father, my dad is the BEST! YOU' RE THE ONE WHO SUCKS!"
A single tear falls down Bell's eye, as Captivant is hit with a wave of disgust, causing him to say, "So what of it? Let's see how great all those small-minded, unimportant trash can do for him in the face of reality."
Captivant pulls on his arm, forcing it beyond his limit, and slams his foot against specific back muscles, forcing a yell of pain to burst out of his body. Then throws him over towards his son, who quickly runs to his father in a panic.
As Bell screams, Captivant says, "I messed with the positioning of his muscles. Something I picked up about reading the flow of one's body in Enotita used by the people who read the Lotus to understand what to do next." If you don't get someone who is well-versed in such techniques to put them back in place, the damage will be permanent. In fact, it will probably mess up his spine and his ability to walk and use his arm, so I guess you won't be able to play tag with him again."
"Please no, help him!"
"Now why would I do that? Aren't I someone who sucks?"
His eyes glaze downwards as he stares at his father crying and screaming in pain, and soon his tears and snot join his father, causing Captivant to say, "Cry all you want, but when he can never leave his home alone, know that it is all your fau-."
"I can help!" A voice says, walking through the crowd. A man in grubby clothes walks forward and kneels down, saying, "Hi, I am from Enotita. I saw everything, and your words touched me. Would you let me help with your father?"
"Please do!" The man receiving permission starts to bark orders at people within the crowd who quickly follow them as he uses his hand and places then against Bell's back and arm, fixing the damage Captivant caused.
Seeing this, Captivant takes a few steps forward, yet as Siegrund appears beside him, he stops. "What are you planning to do?"
"Nothing now that you're here," he says before turning around.
Grabbing Captivant by the collar, Siegrund says, "Beating the shit out of a man in front of his child is not the reason I gave you the ability to fight?"
"What of it? You've made it abundantly clear that borders, morality, hard work, principles and ethics don't decide what you get to do in this life, brother killer; the only thing that matters is your ability to forcefully make others obey you. That's the lesson I've learned from you, or are you planning on letting me go?"
Releasing Captivant, Siegrund says, "Do not degrade yourself any longer; leave."
Moving away, Captivant clenches his fist in anger, but before he can move far enough, he hears Bell's voice say, "WAIT!" And stops in his tracks.
