Chapter 576 - Arc 11 Side Story 1.1: Captivant Beginning part 1

Continent: Terrafide

Location: Kingdom of Varage; Village of Zaad Ziener

ΦSitting on the top of a giant moon hanging from his roof, the 10-year-old boy stares up towards the sky with a book in hand, and a smile beaming across his face.

His eyes move from one word to another, and keep moving throughout the page over and over again. The joy that projects from his soul at the consumption of the book makes him tremble and shake like an earthquake is moving through his flesh, and from those he says, "Iphuta, Jophiel, Thorval, and Behíque return was celebrated throughout the land, the screams of joy, the tears of happiness, the dance of liberation that exerted from the people at their saviours spread deep into the land were they lasted forever. As the four heroes returned from their journey, they met a world that didn't fear of it's continued existence, they met a world that could hold its head up high, having hope in the future, and the 4th of Virgo was dubbed the day of Four Salvation in thanks to the heroes' efforts."

Throwing the book in the air, he shouts, "They did it, they really did it! I expect no less from such great heroes."

As the book falls to his side, the young boy grips his legs against the giant moon he lies on and reaches out, grabbing the book before letting out a sigh and saying, "Safe!"

Unknown to him, a shoe flies and smashes against his left temple, loosening his grip on the moon, making him fall down towards the ground, yet as he hits the bottom, he feels the softness of a series of cushions stacked on the floor.

Resting his back against them, he looks up through his room, a room with stars painted on the wall making a perfect recreation of the night sky, and hanging from the top of the room is a giant moon that opens up, revealing a bookcase as well as a giant sun with a massive telescope that reaches out of the room.

Bringing his sight forward, he says, "Crap, she's awake."

In front of the boy is a brown-haired, pink-eyed woman, wearing overalls with her hair tied, and at her side, grovelling on the ground is a man in just his underwear.

Annoyed, the young boy says, "I thought I told you to go get drunk somewhere outside of town, you idiot."

Raising his head, he says, "Then maybe you shouldn't have such pretty widowers in the neighbourhood."

The woman slams her foot into the ground, as she glares at the man, forcing him to raise his body and slam his forehead into the ground, saying, "I AM SORRY FOR FAILING AS A TEACHER!"

Her face stays expressionless, yet a hint of anger can be inferred from the slight twitching in her hands. Walking forward, she glares at the boy who swivels his head in a circle in annoyance before saying, "Can you get to the point already, mother? Instead of trying to look so threatening, I know you're a woman, but the lack of efficiency here is inane."

She continues to walk without saying a word, causing more annoyance to grow on the boy's face, "So what I paid my tutor to go have some fun, it's not like his classes were important anyway. Economics is just for uptight penny pushers. People like me are artists who rewrite the very world painting it in our image, I've no need for any shit like that going forward, so just let me get back to filling my soul with creativity oka-."

In an instant, the boy finds himself sprawled across the woman's knees, stomach first, with his pants and underwear by his feet. Looking at his mother, he says, "Huh?"

She subtly smiles, then in an instant her hand speed breaks the sound barrier as layer upon layer of spanks smash across the boy's rear end, and as the sound catches up, a giant yells bursts out from his mouth with tears soon following yet the pace, and intensity of the spanks continues to grow more and more until her hand print is depply ingrained into the boys booty.

Dropping him, she stands up and says, "100 spanks." Then she walks towards the door.

Trying to hold back his tears, he mutters weakly, "You brute, unable to answer to my great intellectual prowess, you use violence like a monkey to silence my truth. This is why women never deserve great power, for your emotions overpower any form of logical thinking."

She turns and glares at him, placing her hand at the side of her ear, and in response, the boy shouts, "NOTHING!"

With a proud look, she nods and then continues over towards the teacher, before kicking him in the stomach, and then reaching into her overalls, she pulls out a piece of paper, bites her finger, and then writes on it before slamming it right into his face.

The teacher reading it says, "You're fired?"

The woman gestures, slashing her throat with her finger right before pointing at a watch on her arm, making the teacher rush out of the room screaming.

Looking at her son, she says, "We have new guests to the land. Come and entertain them with us, Adrian."

He clicks his tongue and says, "I told you I don't go by that boring name anymore, call me Captivant!!!!"

She kicks up her shoe from her foot, and then throws it at Captivant, which smacks him on the face before rebounding it into her hand, and then gestures for him to move.

Lying on the ground, he says, "Uncouth bitch."

-Break-

Standing in front of his closet, Captivant changes his clothes as he says, "What an annoying woman, doesn't she understand the struggles of being trapped in this filthy cage when my existence is so much greater than this. If I were actually born into a good family, I would already be telling my legend throughout the land. Those idiots don't know they landed on a gold mine of a child like me, and continue to waste my potential by not investing everything into the rapid ideas that come from my mind."

Walking out of the room, he says, "It's not like I expect inferior hicks who've never even left their home country to understand the role given to a great man like me in the endless play that is existence. Yet I can be sure that when I achieve the greatness meant for me, they will be here grovelling at my feet."

Moving from his room to the corridor, to the stairs he says, "Still that violent mongrel, who consistently uses her arms to fight back against great and massive intellect I pose is utterly retarded, does she not know that words can stir the soul far more than violence, I guess she does but that would require he to actually use that tiny sack of flesh that has the displeasure of being called her brain."

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, he heads towards the source of his father's voice and whispers, "This is the reason philosophers hated women. Emotional, violent, a lack of all forms of accountability, and social parasites who seek power over truth. There's a reason she was given a son before a daughter, and she simply can't comprehend why. Unlike her, I am bound by no foolish emotions, and only pick the most optimal path."

Taking a step into the living room, Captivant walks in side were he sees his plump father, his silent mother, a man dressed in tattered robes with wounds across his body, and a young girl who captures his sight, erasing the rest of the room around him.

Φ In that moment, it all vanished, sounds, touch, smell, taste, even all the details that make up the room returned to nothing but white as if they were never created in the first place.

Seeing her beautiful blue hair, the pink eyes caught in a spiral, the tattered clothes that rotate across her entire existence, the shyness that is born from her subtle movement.

This woman is perfect; she is truly perfect. I think I could die if she told me to, I could bark if she ordered it, I could throw myself onto a pile of manure if it would make her smile.

Φ A fist smashes into the top of Captivant's head, causing him to fall to his knees and scream, "The hell, Dad!"

A second fist slams into his head as he says, "I told you to call me father. Sorry about my son, he has a couple of bad habits, but Adrian has a good heart."

The man says, "No problem, besides, you are all allowing us to stay here. It's our fault for intruding."

"Think nothing of it, it's the duty of all followers of the Three Worlds to reach out to those who find themselves in need, especially people unfairly put out like you."

Bowing his head, he says, "Thank you, thank you so much for all of this."

"Keep your thanks for now, I have heard there is a large influx of refugees heading towards the capital. I will need to head over there in a few days to see if I can identify any of them from your village. Your help would be appreciated."

"I will help you in any way that I can. I promise you that."

The man's daughter thugs on his clothes, causing him to say, "About my daughter, Valda. She is exhausted from the long travel here, and in all honesty, I have heard rumours about what happens to girls like my daughter who catch the wrong person's eyes in the capital."

"Don't worry, I understand she doesn't have to come, we will leave her here with my wife and son, I can guarantee you that almost all the people around here are in the same situation as you. And Adrian could show her around."

She stares at Captivant, then cowers a bit into her father, seeing this causes him to move over to her. He stops in front of her and gets on one knee as he says, "Don't worry, I mean no harp."

Φ Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit,

I MESSED UP! HARP WHAT KIND OF DUMBASS IDIOT CAN'T SAY HARM CORRECTLY!

I look like an idiot, she hates me now, she is going to spit on my face and tell me I need to go die in the nearest ditch, and it will all be my fault. I can't take this, I can't take any of this! I need to bite my tongue and die this very moment!

Laughter sprawls across her face, and letting go of her father, she grabs my hand and says, "Then do me no harp."

It is said that a single large meteorite smashing into the planet could cause the extinction of all life, yet such forces couldn't combat the power of those smiles that shatter reality in front of me.

Φ With sweat gushing down his forehead, he stands up and constantly looks at the ground, only taking glances up at her face, as he says, "Then let's move out, I will show you around."

Glancing up, he sees her head also looking towards the ground, as she says, "Umm, yeah, okay!"

Gripping her hand tighter, he takes off with her close at his side.
