Chapter 514 - Arc 11.114: Crush Blamator part 9

Throughout the area surrounding Căderea-Dracului, members of Blamator appear and with their curses they strike at the castle and platform on which the guests rest over and over, sewing chaos. Yet, their strikes barely managed to leave a dent on the castle itself. All the attacks leave swarms of mist and dust everywhere, which obscures the vision of everyone around, and standing at the top of the platform, Miro swings his arms into the sky and says, "How beautiful. In this moment, from this chaos, a new cursed country shall be born, one with power, one with grace, one without humanity. We shall evolve to a higher place with no need for God at our side."

Yet his performance is interrupted as Stelara screams, "NO CHANCE YOU FOOL!"

Looking into the dust, Miro sees Stelara standing in front of the three ministers, who all have a wall of blood around them, and looking further back, he sees the wall of blood extends to every single person in the crowd. A series of Nightmares from Blamator appear at his side, and Miro says, "What I expected from a warrior as ancient and as great as you are. Truly wonderful, if only you'd dedicate that blade to your people."

"I dedicate it to our Queen."

"A rotting corpse he can barely even stand."

Stiprais shouts, "HOW DARE YOU TALK ABOUT HER MAJESTY LIKE THAT! SHE HAS DEFENDED THE NAT-."

"Thousands of years ago, back when we first formed. Ever since the second Queen died, she has been nothing but a lazy pacifist."

"To protect her people, you fool!" Veekeeris shouts.

Vėja says, "She has chosen a far more arduous path than warfare, to connect us peacefully to the rest of humanity and move together."

"Yet how has that worked out? We are hunted, we are hated, we are defiled. The world order, this humanic world order, will never allow us to join it unless we play the part of angels as they get to run around like demons.

That is a life of suffering and shame that can end in failure as long as those with power refuse to give it up.

The truth of the matter is that change can only come with violence; we must take their heads and make them understand the horrors that we live through each day. This system is inherently corrupt, and we must break it and start a new culture with us at the top."

Stelara shouts, "SO WHAT, YOU PLAN ON TURNING THEM INTO SLAVES WITH YOUR AMAZING NEW CASTE SYSTEM!"

"Of course. Their brains and culture have been shaped by them being on the top of society for far too long; maybe 1000 years of abuse will permanently bend their culture towards kindness."

Walking forward, Stelara manifests a tick claw out of blood around her left hand, and says, "Enough of this garbage. Kids like you who know nothing of warfare love preaching it as if your ideologically captured brains could even handle the horrors you wish to send into this world, fool."

"Fossils should stay in their bed."

Tensing the muscles in her legs, Stelara says, "By your logic, might is all that matters when it comes to deciding policy, right? Then let me show you how wrong you are in who stands on top."

With a great smile on his face, the man whose skin looks like a stained glass painting smiles and says, "What a barbaric definition of might, it's why you still remain one step behind us."

He grips his hands tight, and soon a little girl appears in front of Miro, with his hand against her throat.

Vėja shouts, "AGNESE!"

Stelara turns her head back and sees Agnese missing from all the people behind her. "When did you grab Vėja's daughter!"

"Did you think all those attacks earlier were to destroy the castle? You, of all people, know that castle could even stand against Requiem from a Legacy's Advent. It was all a distraction to try and grab a hostage."

"Do you really think I can't kill you all before you harm her?"

"The explosive curse object placed in the palm of my hand behind her neck will, the moment I reduce the pressure I am holding her with."

"Bullshit!"

"Maybe? But before you can figure that out with echolocation, I want you to cut out your eyes and ears."

"N-."

"3, 2, 1!!"

Bursting through the castle, Orb, Cyrus, Willow and Bătrânula fly through the sky, and take the attention of everyone for a single moment.

Stelara, using this moment of distraction, takes the five fingers of her blood hand, and condenses them into five thin lines and pieces five men, with the line from her middle finger moving through Agnese's neck.

The blood is so thin that it passes through her neck without leaving a mark, and as it reaches the other side, the thin blood scattered and completely covered Miro's hand, cutting it off.

Miro screams as he moves back, and soon, within the ball of blood, with his hand, an explosion goes off that doesn't even make the orb shift for a moment.

Instantly grabbing the situation, Orb says, "Cyrus, boost!"

Following his orders, Cyrus swings his tail towards Orb's feet, sending him forward, and in that moment Orb says, "Red Branch Battle Arts; Passiflora."

He jets forward and smashes Miro in the face, sending him into the ground, and in that moment, a series of other members of Blamator jump out of nowhere above him.

Stelara, Vėja, Veekeeris, Stiprais, Willow, Dumnorix, Abbán, Maple, Iancu, Suzuka, Cyrus, Bătrânula, Avram, Orb, and the members of the Cursed Heart Army within the area, jump out and strike them all down in seconds before landing on the ground.

Orb, with panic on his face, grabs Miro and heads over to everyone else, whose eyes shoot all around trying to figure out the situation.

Agnese is returned to Vėja, and turning her hair, she says, "Stelara, what the hell is going on, and why are you reacting like this?"

Stelara, moving up to her, says, "We have fallen for their trap!"

Stiprais says, "You mean Blamator? We should have eliminated all of their forces."

Stelara says, "You didn't, we were all misled. Right now, we are all under direct assault from them all."

Veekeeris says, "How the hell did they even breach the parameters? We knew some escaped, so we set up guards everywhere."

Orb, moving up to them, says, "They came from Balaur. The inside of some of Balaur's bones are hollow, so they moved through them."

"Wait, are you saying what I think you're saying?"

Stelara nods her head and says, "He tricked us all."

Location: Hallways of Soarele Blestemat

Φ With one foot after another, I proceed forward, humming to myself a nursery rhyme thought to every single member of Blestemate since they were young. One of countless songs depicting the glory of the Messiah, the Messiah who shall one day come, the Messiah who shall save them all. An idea pushed into each of their heads unquestionably from the moment they first drew breath.

Oh, how I hated having to learn these songs off by heart each day in a classroom filled with people who hated me. But as I walk these corridors, their rhythmic sound keeps my mind steady and focused, allowing me to fight off the effects of Soarele Blestemat. I guess it really does have the power to tame people's minds.

This hypnotic control is the reason that, like obedient slaves, we are taught to wait for our Messiah to reach out his hands to protect us, just like every single member of are country has been taught for the last 2000 years, but even in that insurmountable amount of time, not one change has descended on us from above.

Reaching the same door I saw Suzuka standing in front of, I grab the handles of it and say, "Yet I won't be docile anymore, I will break free and move forward towards a new world."

Φ Pushing the door in front of himself open, Dragoste is greeted with a large empty ballroom with a giant series of stairs leading upwards. That house another door, and with a smile on his face, he says, "I have returned."

Though he is quickly interrupted as across every corner of the room, members of the Cursed Heart Army appear, with one dropping in front of him with a type of firearm in his hands.

Pointing the strange firearm against Dragoste's head, a white man with the same fangs as Stelara and the rest of the Cursed Heart Army says with a flirtatious grin, "Minister, or should I say former interim Minister of the Cursed Heart Region, Dragoste Nightfall, can you please explain to me how the hell you got here?"

"With my feet, 3rd seat Ruthven."

"That's the I want a bullet in my head answer."

"I am curious how that special firearm that uses blood as bullets works?"

"Since I know 50-year-old men like you might have some mental issues, I will ask you again, Dragoste. Why are you here?"

"Isn't it obvious? I am the leader of Blamator!"

The eyes of the soldiers around him open wide, before Ruthven, with his smile fading a little, says, "Do you even know what you so proudly declare?"

"That I was able to trick all of the highest offices in this country into complacency enough for me to plot a rebellion. I think that's pretty impressive and should be declared proudly."

"It's treason against the Queen and her people! Members of Blamator are attacking her as we speak!"

"Yet you, her personal guards under Orlok, are here right now? It's almost as if you have decided there is something more important than her to protect."

Glaring into Dragostes' eyes, Ruthven says, "How much do you know?"

"Soarele Blestemat is set up in a way to massively inhibit and redirect anyone who tries to navigate it. Yet through my investigations into cursed items and the like, I learned that the places where this mind-altering ability is the strongest aren't near the Queen's room. Strange, isn't it? Of course, no one will ever figure this out, because they will never move through the upper areas of Soarele Blestemat enough to notice this discrepancy. Yet if you look around enough, you'll eventually find the door that stands right behind me, which, strangely enough, looks exactly like the door to the Queen's room. Of course, no one ever notices this and just thinks it is the door to the Queen's room, as why would they believe such? Anyone with knowledge of how the castle works knows that if you enter the Queen's room by yourself, Orlok will instantly cut you down, so they never try and check. But recently I checked and was greeted with the same sight I see in front of me. Now, why would this be? Why would our Queen's chambers be a decoy for something else within the castle? Is she not the most important person in the country? It makes no sense. Until one takes a good look at our history. One skims through all of the records. One engages with an open and fluid mind against what others teach you to accept unquestionably, and there you will find the greatest secret, the greatest curse, the greatest power within Blestemate."

Ruthven, with sweat trickling down his face, says, "It's dea-."

"Oh, no need to lie, the little fox girl has already given me confirmation that it is quite alive, it is powerful, and it is hungry."

"Bye, Dragoste," Ruthven says as he moves his fingers towards the trigger.

Yet in that moment, he falls to the floor along with all of the other members of the Perfecțiune around him, and as their heads fall to the ground, he looks up and sees Dragoste with a demonic smile on his face.
