When Rex saw the second daughter, his immediate thoughts were normal looking daughter. That brought a disgusted look on his face and everyone noticed it.
When Rex turned his attention back to Deathholder Rex could see the apologies and anger in his eyes. Rex figured that it was because of this woman who looked normal.
"Tell me, who is this family?" Rex's voice was purely Demonic Qi.
The family was shocked to feel the Demonic Qi in such purity. Deathholder lifted the family head and tossed him to Rex.
"Tell him." Deathholder spoke in all seriousness.
The family head could only bow his head in front of the Demon King and say, "My family is the Third Rated Alexindar Family."
Rex did not know what that truly meant. So he asked about it.
"Third Rated Families are those who hold power but they only have power because they have done good deeds. Second Rated Families are families that keep doing good deeds for at least three generations and it is harder to demote them. Then the First Rated Families have solid power while ensuring the arena is continuously working properly.
Then the top families are the ones who ensure that every other family is cooperating when stuff needs to happen, just like the Jeweled Eye Fighter." Deathholder spoke with a bow.
Rex understood a little about this family but since there were no other men he figured that he did not bear male children or they had already grown up.
"So tell me, why did Deathholder make my wives feel death?"
The family immediately paled because it was indeed their fault. They hoped they could survive this ordeal.
"I have not been blessed with any man children. My second daughter has not been able to get any men to even glance at her.
Even now, you had a disgusted look on your face when you looked at her. I hoped that the messenger would be able to get her under your protective wing.
Deathholder wanted my other daughter who is scheduled to marry in two days to go to you. Our little argument caused him to explode in anger." The family head spoke.
Rex looked at her closely. She was indeed not bad looking but to him she seemed more plan than anything just like her father.
"Is there a contract with this marriage?"
Rex knew that many families liked the marriage contracts to ensure that everyone would be happy in the end even if the families were not truly on good terms.
"Yes. We will fetch our side of the contract." The family head said and went to the bedroom to get the contract.
He got both his and his wife's and their daughters. He hoped that somehow the Demon King could find a way to ensure everything went smoothly with the situation.
"Our daughter's marriage contract."
Rex was handed it and he read it carefully. When he looked at it closely, there was a way to change the name on the contract however only the powerful could change it.
Rex looked at the family and Deathholder. He could tell that this was truly a mess to deal with for every party.
"Lead me to the other family." Rex stood up and walked to the messenger.
"Tomorrow, you will roll a die. Each side will take something away from you. A one will be your head. A two or three will be an arm. A four or five will be a leg. A six will allow you to survive with your limbs intact but you will have to lose your dignity." Rex told him and continued forward.
The messenger lost all hope for living. On the opposite ends are his life while the middle is his limbs. He hoped to survive while ensuring that nothing terrible happened.
Jailers had finally arrived at the floor with Rex exiting the room. They told him to halt amd surrender himself.
When Deathholder walked out next and told the Demon King to stand behind him. The jailers paled wondered what had happened.
"Both myself and him are trying to help this family solve an issue caused by a messenger. Ensure that the only man in there stays there."
The group led by the family head walked to the Second Rated Families floor. When he knocked on the door. An angered yell was heard by both Rex and Deathholder.
They both busted in the room. When the man saw Deathholder coming in, he immediately frowned but he could at least survive but the other man was unknown and that gave him the chills.
Rex grabbed him by the throat and lifted him high up. Rex shifted his middle and index fingers to his temples and a scream of terror came from the man before Rex dropped him.
"I am here to ensure that the marriage contract changes. If you have a problem, I will crush your head." Rex spoke.
The man was shocked and he truly knew that somehow the man over there did something to tarnish his name.
"How much did he pay? I'll pay double to ensure it stays the same." The man spoke sternly.
"He paid by angering Deathholder who made my wives feel death at their throats. Tell me do you want to pay double on that." Rex smiled so evilly that the man began pissing himself without remorse.
Rex knew that the man did not want to pay double on that and went to get the marriage contract.
"Change the name from the First Daughter to the Second Daughter. Deathholder will pay to ensure that any training that the first daughter did for this marriage she will do as well." Rex spoke.
The three men agreed. Deathholder changed the name for the two men and called his butler to gather a little spare change.
Now that this part of Deathholder's Rage was fixed. Rex decided to ensure that the others would go smoothly to ensure that no more rage would happen under his watch.
