Instead of worrying about rather beasts or the Stairway emitting the bloodlust. The group just entered the Stairway. Unlike in times before, they were standing on clouds.
This was not how it normally works. No one was sure what this was. Even normally, there should have been some difference but not like this.
Standing on the clouds was something normally for the Ninth Realm not the Eighth Realm. In the far horizon, a copy of the group came in.
No one would know about this group during this trip. That would not have stopped them currently. It could not copy the Shadow Cloak on Rex or Iris. Not to mention, the Shadow Princess and Shadow Maid.
The group advanced forward trying to figure this out. They stumbled upon a glistening rock formation. Even in the back of their minds, something was different about this formation.
The group circled it. This was a cultivation spot for Nature users due to the amount of the Nature Qi at the top of it. Violet began to cultivate at that spot.
They waited for her to be able to get done with her cultivation. No one wanted to separated currently. Once the group was ready to advance. They moved slightly jealous of Violet at first.
In the next area, another rock formation was there. It too had a glistening glow to it, however though this one was made for Fire Qi Cultivators. Liz and Amber both cultivated there. They waited until the duo were ready.
They continued.
At the next spot, there was another formation. This time it was a pond with a glistening leaf in the middle of it. When Iris and Margaret tried to cultivate, it felt as if they were rejected. This upset them because they thought it was their turn due to the sequence of events.
Rex tried and found that this was God Qi, he did not know the reason nor why God Qi would appear in a remote area of the Stairway. He did cultivate and found the sensation pleasing and comfortable.
He cultivated almost four times as long as the first two combined. When he was done, he felt more like a new man than anything else that happened.
When the women saw him now. They immediately knew that any woman would instantly bow and suck his dirty toes just to be close to him.
The group continued only because Rex asked them to. When they arrived at the next formation, another weird thing appeared before them.
A statue of a woman this woman reminded Rex of Mira. The group got to cultivate together now. Iris and Margaret both felt left out at this moment in time.
Once they completed that, the next statue was Mera in her Dragon form and humanoid form. Once again the group cultivated. Iris and Margaret both felt that the Stairway no longer cared about them.
The next spot allowed them to cultivate their Fire Qi. It was not as long Violet's but longer than Liz's and this made Iris proud.
"Now enter the Eighth Trial of the Stairway dooming those who wish to betray it." A voice echoed and the group entered.
