"How come the atmosphere seemed so tense downstairs just now...?"
Ayaana and Zahara reached underneath the cabinet and pulled out towels and a bathrobe.
"You'll probably find out later." Ayaana sighed. "Just hold onto your socks when you find out."
Abaddon looked down at his feet. He was unsure if he should have been concerned about what was waiting for him.
He finished getting undressed and stepped down into the bath, allowing the water to come all the way up to his neck.
"Ahhhh..."
A deep groan of satisfaction escaped his throat as his broken arm became enveloped in warm water. The medicinal properties of Lailah's herbal bath were nigh impossible to beat.
He was starting to feel better already.
Meanwhile, Ayaana and Zahara split up and started to exit the bathroom one after the other.
"We're heading to bed first. Yell if you fall and can't get up, old man!" Tatiana yelled.
