Yuma stood up and stretched.
“Sensei, he didn’t come in here, did he?”
“No, he must have expected me to go home.”
“Then, I’m going to walk you home,” Yuma said with a smile.
“Why are you treating me like a girl?”
“Because I want to ensure you’re safe, that’s all.”
Kousuke looked away from Yuma.
“Idiot.”
After leaving the school, they began walking toward Kousuke’s house. Yuma smiled as he was walking next to Kousuke.
“Hey, Hasegawa, why are you smiling?”
“Because, you’re less cold towards me now,” Yuma said with a smile.
“I guess that’s true.”
“It seems like that bastard has been more persistent lately.”
“I know what you mean; I held back earlier. I wanted to break one of his arms and his jaw, but I guess a swollen cheek should be enough for now.”
“Yeah, but the next time he tries anything, I might have to break some of his bones,” Kousuke said with a cold stare.
