Without waiting for their replies, Benjamin opened up a portal directly into the lab where that teleportation device was made.
There, they saw two circular machines, where one was still intact while the other was broken into pieces.
"Can you start it up, Tony?"
"Uhh, you sure about this, Ben?"
"Based on what the professor said, his daughter was inside the portal when it malfunctioned. But where exactly? The portal must lead to some place. She may very well still be alive. Otherwise, does the portal directly convert matter into nothing?"

Tony fell silent
After a moment, he looked at Tadashi and the others.
"I can fix it up, but I'll need some help."
Tadashi and the others looked at each other then nodded.
"If it means we can help our professor, I'm in!"
"Me too!"
Tadashi, Hiro, and the rest excitedly agreed.
"I'll take care of the music!"
Fred laughed and immediately pulled out a stereo from somewhere and started playing a background music.
Benjamin was a bit speechless.

"Uhh, I'm not sure what I can do but I'll cheer everyone on!"
Cass also nodded.
Since both her nephews entered the portal, she couldn't just leave them be so she followed.

Callaghan was moved as he looked at all his students.
And to think that I was about to steal Hiro's tech, kill everyone who gets in my way, and eventually destroy Forson Tech with the very same machine that killed my daughter…
Soon, everyone began to work.
It didn't take long at all as everyone in the room, save for Fred and Cass, were geniuses.
When the teleportation device turned on, Benjamin was surprised.
"Huh. I can't believe it."
"What? What is it? Is my daughter still alive!?"
Callaghan asked.
"Uhh, I haven't checked that yet. It's just that…this portal actually led straight to Limbo!"
"Limbo?"
Tony asked.
Benjamin nodded and continued.
"Yeah. You know there's a mutant in Charles' school that goes by the name Magik?"
"Uhh, nope."
"Well, basically she's a mutant who's capable of harnessing the power of Limbo, at the same time, she can open up portals that lead to Limbo and exit in another area back to Earth, basically achieving teleportation."
"So this Limbo…is some kind of pocket universe?"
Benjamin nodded again.
"Sort of. There's all sorts of strange pocket worlds in Limbo."
"Interesting."
"...I'm gonna stop you right there. Don't think about meddling with Limbo. Not just pocket worlds, there are mostly demons roaming this place. If you're gonna venture in here, it would be wise to bring Doctor Strange with you."
"Doctor Strange?"
"..Right, I forgot Strange is still just a surgeon…"
Benjamin muttered.
"I don't really understand what you two are talking about…but is it true that it's possible to sustain life inside this…Limbo? It isn't some void we thought it to be?"
Callaghan asked.
"Yes. But as I said, demons also roam this place. Your daughter…we can only hope she is not in danger."
Benjamin sighed.
After all, too much time had passed since then.
This wasn't the same as with the movie where his daughter was merely in cryostasis.
Here, the portal was actually connected to Limbo, one of the most dangerous realms in the Marvel Universe.
Callaghan was now even more worried.
Benjamin patted his shoulder and reassured him.
"Don't give up hope. As long as she's alive, I'll find her. Now, it's best you leave this to us."
Benjamin opened up a portal back to the convention.
Tadashi asked.
"Is there any way we can help?"
"You can help by being with your professor. Don't let him feel alone."
And I should probably have some people monitor him…just in case he still causes a rampage…
Benjamin thought.
Tadashi and the rest nodded.
"Oh, and professor Callaghan. Do you have any items that belonged to your daughter?"
"I do."
Callaghan nodded and pulled out a pen with an engraving on it.

Benjamin nodded and turned to Tony who shook his head.
"What? I'm coming with! No way I'm gonna pass an opportunity to go into an unknown world! Friday, cancel all my plans for the week! We'll take a raincheck on that medical robot, Tadashi! Wait for me to come back! I'll even bring back a souvenir!"
"..."
Benjamin sighed and placed his palm on his face.
He then pulled out his phone to call Natasha and the others to let them know he would be off-world again.
"And I just got back too…"
Benjamin shook his head.
Soon, the call connected and Benjamin explained the situation to them.
After a while, Natasha said that Elsa also wanted to come with so she can return to her home to visit her sister.
Benjamin didn't mind and opened a portal for her.
Benjamin thought for a moment and called another person. Magik.
Once Illyana knew that Benjamin was about to head into Limbo, she directly demanded to come with him before Benjamin could even ask.
Tony then asked.
"Is this everyone then? Come on! Let's go!"
"Hmm, wait a moment. To be on the safe side, I'll ask the current Sorcerer Supreme to come with too."
One can never be too prepared.
Who knows if they suddenly got separated or something while inside?
And the Ancient One could also provide some insights into some magical aspects in Limbo.
Thinking of this, Benjamin contacted the Ancient One.
"Oh? It's quite rare for you to contact me, Captain Freed. Don't tell me it's to ask me on a date?"
The Ancient One chuckled as she answered the call.
Benjamin coughed a bit.
"Ahem, that's not it. I just wanted to ask if you're free currently? Me and a few others are about to head into Limbo and we could use the help of the Sorcerer Supreme."
"Limbo, is it? Very well, open a portal for me."
"Can't you do it yourself?"
The Ancient One rolled her eyes.
"I need an image of the location to open a portal. You're the weird one for being able to open portals in all sorts of places."
Benjamin chuckled at that.
He then opened up a portal for her and soon, a certain bald woman in yellow robes appeared before them.
She looked around and noticed the others with Benjamin.
"This is…quite an unusual group."
A sorcerer, a mechanic, a mutant, and a…singer? Oh, and also a cop/god.
It was certainly a weird group that you wouldn't think would be together.
Illyana looked at the Ancient One up and down.
"So you're the Sorcerer Supreme?"
"Indeed, you must be Illyana."
"You know me?"
"I know your destiny. You will also become one of the strongest sorcerers in the future."
"Sweet."
"You're already learning magic from Benjamin, how about learning from me as well?"
The Ancient One asked but Illyana quickly refused.
"Nope."
"Why? You must know, my knowledge at magic is better than his."
"Maybe. But we can't fuck after training."

Everyone was speechless.
They all turned to Benjamin.
"Don't look at me! I haven't done anything to her!"
"Yet?"
"I didn't say yet!"
