Chapter 5 - Chapter 005- Training

---A month Later---

It has been a month since Asuna got her System. Rifat mainly assigns her missions that are related to the study of finance. To complete his main mission, Rifat would have to defeat all the floor bosses in the SAO game.

And to do that, he would need a large guild behind him. Even though Rifat believes that he has enough leadership capability to run the guild, he is not that knowledgeable in other aspects to run a guild efficiently. So, he plans to create some helpers for himself with the help of the system.

Asuna has been selected as the treasurer by him who is mainly responsible for managing all the money circulating in the guild. That's why all the missions released to her are related to finance. The rewards of the system are closely related to the mission itself. So, all the rewards that Asuna got are finance related which will help her become the best in the field of finance management.

As for Rifat himself, he also got a chance to acquire rewards every time Asuna completed a mission. Rifat has two ways of getting rewards. One is getting the same rewards as Asuna and the other is getting something similar in value to it.

Since Rifat doesn't need all the rewards related to finance, he chose the second option which is to get something of similar value that would help him increase his leadership ability. So, compared to a month before, he is now the more capable leader.

In the last month, Rifat also acquired the majority of the shares of the Argus company and he is now in charge of that company. On the first day of the board meeting, he directly rejected most of the pre-planned projects of the company and assigned most of the manpower to the project of NerveGear and the game SAO.

He also met with the main researcher of the NerveGear Akihiko Kayaba. Rifat gave him some encouragement as well as increased his salary to motivate him to work harder for the company. He even went as far as to assign a system to this genius scientist.

His missions are mainly related to virtual technology to make him a top scientist in that field. Besides these missions, Rifat also released a long-term mission for Kayaba. The mission is to become a loyal dog for Rifat. At first, he was not that keen on doing that but when Rifat added the punishment saying that he would become a vegetative person if he fails on this mission, Kayaba tried his best to get close to him and declare his loyalty.

So unless Kayaba wants to become a vegetative person, there is no chance of his betrayal.

...

'Should I meet other players this early that will become the backbone of my guild in SAO? Nah, I don't need to. I can just assign my people to approach others and make them work under my company for now. Then we can slowly get to know each other. It will be more natural and make it easier for me to assign the system to them as well.' Rifat thought to himself.

Rifat doesn't have any plan to approach those first that are on his recruitment list this early unless it is a female whom Rifat has taken an interest in.

'Now that Asuna is already on the track and others will also be very soon as well, it is necessary to focus on myself. I guess it is time for me to go and see uncle Andrew.' Rifat decided in his mind.

.....

---After a long drive---

"How have you been?" Andrew asked as he saw his nephew.

"I have been a great uncle. What about you?" Rifat asked back.

"Do you think it's possible for me to ever be sad or depressed? Needless to say, I am doing great as well" Andrew replied with a smile on his face.

Andrew has always been an optimistic person. No matter what situation he had been through, Rifat had never seen him sad or depressed. He would always smile even in the saddest of moments.

'Maybe that's why he has been able to stay sane in this torture and information-gathering department for this long. I can't imagine how much it takes to live in this place and play mind games with the most vicious of criminals. It must be a very tough job.' Rifat thought.

"Uncle, you might have already seen my messages. I want to start my training from today." Rifat said with determination on his face.

"Are you sure? My training is quite harsh. If you are not careful enough, you could even loose a leg or two. More importantly, you even asked me to go through the emotional training that every agent goes through in our department! You do know that 70% of the agents have some kind of trauma after that training! Right?" Andrew asked with severe emphasis on his words. If he finds any kind of hesitation on Rifat's face, he would reject him directly because this is not for the weak.

But he was soon surprised seeing Rifat's resolute face as he replied, "Don't worry uncle. I know all the risks involved. But I have already made my decision."

"Good. We will start our training from tomorrow. This training will last for six months and during this period, you will not be allowed to contact anyone else outside. All of your energy will be spent on my training and I will not allow you to go unless you finish it." Andrew said as he took Rifat to the room that he will stay in for these six months.

After his uncle Andrew went away, he gave him just today to inform all the people that are close to him since from tomorrow onwards, his phone will be confiscated as well.

So, Rifat first called his butler Geroge, and asked him to take care of all his businesses during his absence. He also called Asuna and chatted with her for an hour-long explaining(falsifying) his reasoning for being absent for such a long time.

After taking care of this two, Rifat checked his phonebook as he sent a generic message to all the other people that are close to him informing them of his six-month absence as well as the reason behind it.

.....

---Six Month Later---

"Congratulation for being able to finish the training and making it out alive. You are one of the most tenacious person I have met. In the beginning I didn't tell you not to scare you too much but the training you just went through and managed to pass as well was quite different than the normal one. It was banned by the country because of its high casualty rate."

"I wanted you to participate in the normal training at first but after seeing your determination, I knew I have to give you the best training we got."

"During the first time this training was implemented, I was one of its participent. But you might be shocked to hear that among the best 100 militants that participated in that training, 60 of them directly died or became vegetative because of the intensity of the training. The rest of them beside me still suffer from severe PTSD even now."

"So, you should be proud because you are the second person who managed to fully complete this training. Beside myself I don't think anyone else in this earth would be able to beat you when it comes to reading others and fully controlling your emotion even in extreme situations." Andrew is feeling very proud for his nephew right now.

While the training was ongoing, Andrew was quite hesitant sometimes about whether to let Rifat carry on with this after seeing him getting mentally tortured again and again. The only thing that stopped him from stopping the training was Rifat's determined face that he would show every time after waking up from unconsciousness. Now that Rifat truly managed to pass, Andrew is very happy for him.
