Recently, whenever San Ni was bored, she would go into the space to tinker around for a while. Gradually, some of the supplies in the space were sorted out.
"So many things, how am I ever going to use them all?" San Ni looked at the supplies that almost covered the entire space and sighed in a rather pretentious manner.
Then she excitedly rushed into the vegetable garden.
"So well-grown, jade cabbages, truly edible jade cabbages!" San Ni floated above the vegetable garden, touching here and there.
Perhaps because the Spiritual Energy was abundant in the space, from sowing till now it had only been about ten days, and the cabbages had already grown to the size of a palm.
But that's not important, what's important is that the cabbages looked fresh and enticing.
However, San Ni soon started sighing, "What a pity such good veggies can't be taken out for eating."
Even if she wanted to eat them, she would have to wait until she could walk and jump, then switch the home-grown vegetables with those from the space.
Fortunately, items stored in the space don't spoil, so these cabbages won't go to waste.
"Once these cabbages are harvested, I'll plant a batch of wheat and corn, then channel water to plant rice. It's a shame the land is a bit scarce; rotating crops would take over a year."
San Ni calculated in her mind, planting wheat first would be best.
Wheat is planted in winter, and now it's only spring. With the Spiritual Energy, there's no need to worry about seasons, plus the space seems to always be at a constant temperature, so the wheat will surely grow well.
Before winter arrives this year, the space must have already produced a crop of wheat; by then she should be able to walk on her own, right?
Even if not, her big brother could take her to play in the village, or follow her parents to the fields. There's no harm in watching them work, right?
As long as she can leave the house, she'll find a way to spread the wheat from the space onto everyone's fields one handful at a time!
After harvesting the wheat from the space, she'll plant corn, and by next spring when corn is typically sown, the space-grown batch will be mature!
Hmph, she doesn't believe it; using her clever modern-day wits, she can't let everyone enjoy high-yield crops legitimately.
The more San Ni thought about it, the happier she felt inside, reluctantly saying goodbye to the vegetable garden, and headed to where she stored the supplies.
"Such a large space, yet it's all cluttered with no room left, I'd better tidy up today."
San Ni muttered to herself, then approached the pile of seeds, first finding a storage basket and putting all the seed packets inside before carrying the basket back to the yard.
Passing by the vegetable garden, San Ni thought for a moment and plucked a cabbage.
She remembered that next to where the seeds were stored, there was still an empty room. She wanted to conduct an experiment to see if the items stored in those empty rooms could maintain their original state.
After all, the seeds sown in the vegetable garden grew, indicating that the time in the garden was different from the storage area. The garden's time was flowing, while time in the storage area remained still, and the items didn't spoil.
In this small courtyard, apart from the main house and bedroom, study, kitchen, etc., there were these two conspicuous rooms, one for storing seeds, and the other completely empty.
San Ni controlled the cabbage to throw it into the empty room, then hurriedly went to absorb some Spiritual Energy: "I'm exhausted, how come I'm so tired, could it be because I moved too many things?"
San Ni sprawled next to the spring, looking at the storage basket not far away, a big box, weighing at least several dozen pounds.
Tsk-tsk, it seems people get smaller, even their consciousness weakens.
After resting enough, San Ni resumed work, tearing open the bags and sorting the seeds into categories of flowers, vegetables, herbs, rare, and precious, using many cabinets here with countless drawers, definitely enough to store everything.
But halfway through storing the seeds, San Ni suddenly stopped.
"Something's wrong, something's wrong with the space!" San Ni shot up from the ground, flew up in the air, and surveyed the entire room.
This room was enormous, looking from above, it seemed almost as large as the whole courtyard!
Thinking of a possibility, San Ni gasped: "How is it possible, could it really be a space within the space?"
Immediately, she flew out from the doorway, hovered above the whole courtyard for a closer look, then flew back into the room and came out moments later, utterly stunned.
"Incredible, that room is actually a shrunken space too!"
No wonder, looking at the numerous cabinets and drawers inside, it felt densely packed as if they would never run out.
San Ni was dumbfounded for quite a while, then recovered, increasingly amazed by the space, as if it was no longer just the Space Ability she originally awakened.
Shaking her head to cast aside these strange thoughts, she decided to stop overthinking, continuing her work, for she had plenty of time to uncover the wonders of this space in the future.
After a while, noticing someone was poking her from outside, San Ni quickly went out, it was Da Wa returning from bug-catching, hoping to play with his little sister.
Da Wa was very happy recently, as their father was great at fishing, earning him admiration among his playmates in the village.
Following his father's instructions, he even brought his friends to dig for bugs in the vegetable garden, even pulling out some of the just-sprouted seedlings.
Because the bugs they dug up elsewhere couldn't catch as many fish as those from their home's garden, making others envious, Da Wa felt very proud.
But Da Wa knew there was a little secret to this.
"San Ni, you and Tie Dan are amazing, catching all those fish, it's all thanks to San Ni and Tie Dan, you're both blessings come down to earth!"
Seeing San Ni open her eyes, Da Wa immediately grinned.
Jiang Hu was still outside under the eaves working on a small bed, when he heard his eldest son's words, he shook his head with a laugh: "Da Wa, who told you that?"
Da Wa glanced at his still-sleeping younger brother, then picked up San Ni and went to the door, but did not go outside: "It's what the uncles and aunts in the village said."
Jiang Hu paused his work: "What did they say?"
Da Wa recalled and then mimicked them: "Along the way, many pregnant wives ended up losing their babies, but look at Jiang Hu's family, had two and they both were fine and safely delivered."
"This is surely heaven's blessing!"
"And when the San Ni and Fourth Kid were born, everyone was near starving, Jiang Hu's face was emaciated from hunger, but as soon as the children were born, there was a catch of both sparrows and fish, and everyone got a bit plumper. Isn't this a blessing from heaven watching over Fuan Village!"
Da Wa mimicked the village woman's voice, making Jiang Hu both laugh and cry.
But after Da Wa finished, Jiang Hu seriously thought and firmly nodded: "Indeed, San Ni and Tie Dan must be blessings reincarnated, our days will just keep getting better!"
Da Wa instantly became exuberant, grinning at the still somewhat bewildered San Ni: "I told you, San Ni is a blessing reincarnated, and Tie Dan little brother too!"
It's just that Tie Dan little brother always sleeps and doesn't play with them, San Ni is still cuter!
