I would say bouncing around like this make me an unwilling patient, not listening to the doctor's hearty advice. However, this only applies if I didn't explicitly beg for his permission while clinging on to his leg for three days straight.
My routine has been changed from trying my best to exercise without fainting on the floor somewhere to limited access to the field at all time in order to prep for the first surgery. This. however, greatly hinder my plan and progress with my new skill. Doing simple exercise didn't make the percentage move up at all and has been standing at a grounding halt.
In light of this, I already set out a goal to spend some time digging in the garden for the ability [From Rag to... Usable?]. Despite the simple effect, it is extremely useful for me. Though it is much less descriptive, it is a beta version of a skill used for the Heroes.
If I remember correctly, this version was scrap for its unlimited uses and high chances of reaping useful things, making it too easy for player to mass produce items that they desire by just collecting few starter materials. The only thing that would stop the beta tester from going absolute haywire and overload their save files was the rather slow regeneration time of material.
I mean, there are still those who succeed but at the point of 1348 active hours of constant game play without break, they have earned mine and most of the other tester respect. Even the author have to tell the development team to check up on them to see if they have become one with the possible mycelium on their floor yet.
From that day on, the developer set a play time limit for the tester upon the request of the author. The pay was also increase with the author posting a plea to stop the beta player from overworking themselves since it is still just early game play that barely went past the beginning chapters of the novel.
I wasn't a tester myself but it was a popular topic in the community for a long time. The plea backfired so hard that there were drones of tester flooding the forum with posts flexing the impossible line of numbers making the author to spiral in self doubt of the lunacy of the ordinary.
It ended with them finalizing the skill with a limited usage cap and changing it into a time limit skill. The developers and author put together a bonus for the crazy testers as tribute for their madness and abundant of data they provided.
Extremely generous I must say.
And the skill I received was the older version but with the new version's time limit.
Which mean...
My knee slid across the floor, my head snap upward toward the sky with my hands waving in triumphant.
My first hack skill!
I could kiss god's feet right now if I can but...Wooooooooooo!
Anyway, Garden!
If game logic applies, the drop rate should be relatively high for a newbie like me.
Right?
Lucky for me, the beginning daily quests were easy to accomplish in between the patrolling groups of servants, knights and doctors. Now standing in front of the wild tall grass with the handmaidens armed with weed scythe cutting away my same height obstacle with smooth efficiently.
I frolic through the grass, my hand holding on to the reference book the teacher gave me. The deeper we head to the back garden, the more pictures in the book I could match with the real thing. And with it, the translucent screen blink continuously with notification.
Of course I couldn't activate the accumulated reward right away, my close servants are still here. I don't know about how Amelia was in the past but I am sure everything they witness will be reported back to the big master. A skill that record material is nothing bizarre just rare, but outputting physical recipes and items because of it is something straight out of divine favor.
Plus, they eyed me like a hawk, surveying my face and body at all time for any sign of my usual recklessness to immediately drag me back to my room. It would be in my best interest to do it later at night when no one is around.
The constant sound of accumulating points is music to my ear. Even if I am but a stumbling toddler in this magical world, this give me some comfort and hope for the coming future.

So far, I am doing pretty good.
The maids luckily didn't overstep either, they just receive the parts I gave them without questioning and put them in a basket.
'Ah, what a familiar sight...'
Unbeknownst to me, I somehow have taken part in some odd tradition of the Laurel family. Each and everyone of the family be it the direct line or others have been diving bushes and plucking herbs on their hands and knees before.
This sight has been the norm for a long time. No noble families or servants out there would ever believe the esteem Ducal family sometime like to do gardening with their bare hands and always come back covered in weeds and a belly full of wild fruits and berries.
Many would say that this is uncouth and undignified but... who dare to say that to their face. The royal family, maybe? But, as handmaidens and servants, the only thing they need to do when this happen is smile, cut away the useless weeds and support their little master to the best of their abilities.
And, so, the frolicking took a temporary pause for a snack break as the peel me off of the grassy floor. I got about almost 3 hours in before they pack up this activity for the next day before heading to feed me lunch.
Mother Andrea, lovingly provide me with a empty storage warehouse near the back garden to 'play' with all my reaping. This family sure has a weird line set between entertainments and experiments.
No matter, I will utilize this gift to the best of its use.
In between classes, researching in the library and rehabilitation exercises, I drop by there to finish the skill's records and sneak some more harvesting in to rake in the necessary points.
By the end of the day...

I manage to get 7 different kind of herbs, but, I wasn't allow to process any of them yet hence I could only look at them and hang them to dry for now.
Doctor's order and all...
He came all the way to the shed just to watch me hang them up to not let me do anything stupid... and I didn't.
Yet.
Thankfully, this warehouse/ shed is use as a break room for knights and gardeners before but nobody frequent it usually anymore so it was cleaned up to be my experiment ground.
They even install thermal control magic to change the inner temperature of the building whenever necessary. A perfect hide-away.
There are still lots of books left behind in the shelf and tools littered outside. A small bed and reading corner not too far from the door. It all look like it had been here for a while waiting for someone to come.
I will be spending a lot of time here in the near future so, it is better when it feel a bit homey:D.
