As the skies cleared and minutes were turned to hours, Issei walked out of the room as PSD were rushing into the school. News reports say that a devil took out a fallen angel worshipper. This continued to spread across multiple schools. Rias watched it all unfold as Issei crawled back to her, slowly walking over to her until he felt her arms wrap around him. "I'm so sorry" Issei said as he wrapped his arms around Rias. He sniffles as his head throbs with pain. "I messed up. I let them almost do it again to you. Why are they trying to take you like that?" Issei says and asks as Rias comforts him through a warm embrace. "It's alright Issei, it's alright. I'm here now. You saved me." Motohama and Matsuda rushed into the school, clearing each room until they found the body, the rest of the agents on the scene secured the site and locked it down. The agents then run in and search the room, only for no demon to be found. "It's gone!" one of them cries out. "DAMMIT!"
Motohama says slamming into a table in rage as the scene calms down from the lack of a threat. "Look" Matsuda says as he points outside. He and Motohama run outside as the other agents put the body in a body bag. "Hey where are you two going?!" The lead agent asks, but his superior puts his hand on his shoulder, the two watch Motohama and Matsuda take off. "Let them go, they're doing our department a service. God only knows if it could be another body or not." The officer nods his head as Motohama and Matsuda run outside to find Issei and Rias hugging while the sunlight is angled to show them to the world, glorifying them before they return home. "Those two!" Matsuda yells. "Maybe I'm not too sure about the existence of devils and angels, I always thought it was some unexplained science. But we need to get Issei to confess." Motohama says as Matsuda walks away. "What do you suggest we do? Our hands are already tied with those other five schools?"
But as he looks back at Motohama the two officers walk outside, overhearing their conversation. The agents stand at a distance as Issei and Rias continue to embrace. "Something is off" the superior thought to himself. "Boys, I have a new assignment for you two" he says as they look back at him, saluting their approaching superior. "At this point" Matsuda thought "Issei, join us. Have your whole crew join us. Let's end this war before one begins."
The next morning Issei woke up and found himself with Rias, the same routine of cuddling naked before they both destroyed their own alarm clocks for interrupting. They then take turns showering before they join Asia and Issei's parents for breakfast. Rias makes them all a meal before they head off to school. For a moment, Issei felt all the voices disappear. His mind was calm. He felt peace as his new life soothed him from his troubled mind. "Wow, Rias, this is amazing. How did you make this?!" Issei asks with glee and whimsy in his voice. Rias smiles. "Wouldn't you like to know" she says with a smile. "I appreciate you letting me and Asia stay here." Issei sips from the bowl. "Rias I never had anything better!" Rias finds her heart fluttering. "Why thank you. You're so sweet."
She says smiling as Issei licks his lips covered in broth. Asia pinches Issei. He yelps for a moment as Rias scrubs the dishes. "You two have been so helpful with cooking and laundry. Asia you too make amazing food. I can't thank you two enough!" Rias turns her head as she scrubs the last pot. "Do you mind if the club members all drop by today for a little visit?" Rias asked politely. "That would be great!" The parents say with a smile on their faces. "Our son has never had so many people over! He's always rotting in his room!" Issei cringes. "Mom!" He then sighs.
"Why here though?" he asks. "Well because the building we use is being cleaned so we need a new spot for today. Is that alright Issei?" Issei nods as he finishes his food. "We should probably get going. I'll see you later mom and dad! Come on, let's not miss the bus this time!" The three all get their school stuff together and head off to the bus. The parents wave from inside as it takes off with their family of three now. "This is why I did what I did," Issei thought to himself. "This peace is blissful. I needed this. It's why I dared to pull off such a dangerous stunt. Yet…" Issei pauses his thoughts. He looks over to see an empty bench in the back of the bus. A bench that could hold three. "But it doesn't last for long. In the end the actions of my sinful ways have repercussions still haunting me, and I'm afraid that my last sin will carry more weight than I can burden" Issei thought as he looked down at his possessed hand. "Yet this burden, it is mine to carry. The sin is as necessary as oxygen. All gods must die. There must be no idol above the human race, or else we'll be slaves forever."
The bus then drops everyone off at the school. As Issei departs from Rias and Asia his suspicions are right. He sees Matsuda and Motohama walk towards him. "Hey guys!" He says waving as they wave back. Matsuda grabs Issei by the ear and pinches him. "What are you smiling like a bitch for?" Matsuda asked bluntly. Issei slaps his arm off. "Man screw you, what's this about?" Issei smiles awkwardly, unable to read the room. The two boys then look at each other before looking at Issei. The tone drops, giving Issei a dreadful feeling. "Just, come with us to the roof, please." The three all walk around the hallway as people whisper to each other and point at Issei.
"Aw shit, more rumors?" Issei asks Matsuda and Motohama. Yeah, some shit about you getting with Akeno and Rias, the two prettiest girls in school, and also with Koneko and Asia, hell even Yuuto." Issei adjusts his blazer. "Jeez that better not be what this is about!" Issei says in disappointment. The two other boys look at each other awkwardly for a moment. Women around them whisper and murmur, pointing to him and Matsuda who wave back. "It's a taste of the old days" Motohama points out. "I like that."
"Well I'd rather not deal with that. When I reminisce, it's about shenanigans not this school girl drama crap" Issei said with disgust.
It's them, wow they're so cool now. Heroes who saved us from devils!

"Oh so now they wanna talk to us" Issei uttered in annoyance. "There he is! It's Asia's boyfriend!" A girl named Aika says as she points to Issei. She wore pink glasses that complimented her greenish yellow eye in color, and aided them to see. She wore her brown hair with two pigtail braids. As she adjusts her glasses she walks closer to the trio.
"What no! Knock it off, we're just friends!" Issei says as he storms off with Matsuda and Motohama away from the crowds. "You two! With me!" Issei barked as they follow behind. The three walk up the stairs and enter the rooftop.
"It's nice to see you all," Matsuda says as they close the roof door. The three then walk towards the chain linked fence on the roof and sit against it as a gust of wind blows by. "So, what happened yesterday?" Matsuda asked as he closed and locked the door. "What are you talking about?" Issei asked in return. Motohama takes a seat next to him. "We were moved from the Financial district assignment to the mystery murder of our old school. Now tell us Issei what happened!" Issei slams his fist against the chain linked fence and stares right back at the two. "The hell is the meaning of this?!" he asks with rage. "He asks as he fixes his tie. The other two do the same as a gust of wind blows around the boys' jackets and hair around."
"Issei, we're here to help. We care about you, we wanna hide this and blame it on the other schools-" Issei suddenly interrupts. "HOW COULD YOU JUST ASSUME I WAS THE ONE?! What evidence do you two dumbasses have?!" Issei roars, standing his ground as he feels sweat break out on his skin. "Issei no. Look, we're not doing this with you. I need you to listen. We saw you with Rias the other day as we raided the empty school looking for the culprit. Now we did extensive background checks and security camera footage and found Rias heading there every day for the past two weeks. Issei, what was he doing to her? What made you lose it?!" Issei sheds a tear, shocking the two agents as he finds himself almost about to faint. However he instead picks himself up and stares the two boys in the eyes.
"So I guess you two really do know. Fine then." The two boys find their heart rates drop as some red hair sneaks through the crack of the rooftop door. Rias pressed her head against it as she heard Issei talking to Matsuda and Motohama. "What are they talking about?" she asks herself. "I killed him. I killed my math teacher." Rias, Matsuda, and Motohama find their hearts dropping to the ground as Issei talks to them.
"Oh my-" Rias lets words escape from her mouth, but she covers it as the two boys turn around. "Is someone here?" Matsuda asks. Issei recognizes the sound of Rias's voice as the other two could barely tell if it was around. "Hey," The two boys turn around. "He was a mercenary." The other two just look at each other as Issei's blazer blows around. "He hurt Rias, so I did what needed to be done. From now on, that's how things are going to run around here. Now you two are here, we can return back to normal!" Issei said this as he grew a smile, his tone of voice growing more and more positive. Motohama and Matusda just stare at Issei in shock. "Guys?" Issei asked as Matsuda and Motohama walked over to Issei.
"I missed you two. I'm so sorry for all the shit I did. I put us in this position." Issei says as he finds himself leaning against the fence. "I need you two to help me, at all costs!"
"Issei how could you be so wreckless?!" Matsuda asked. "Are you kidding me right now?! You're going to-"
"I'm the one making this world devil free. Only I can defeat everyone. Not the PSD, not Rias and our friends, only me. I'm the one who set the domino effect and I intend to see it through." Issei glares at the two as he begins to pace. "They're going to go after her if they find out more details about who Rias and our professor was." Matsuda puts his hand on Issei's back. "Oh we know, she's a second generation. So is the entire research club, and Sona's clique too. That's why we're worried about what you did." Issei looks at Matsuda and Motohama who are smiling back at him. "That's why we took this assignment as soon as our superiors offered it. We have your back, the past is gone now. We help you, and you help us alright? But we need you to calm down and act with more rationality. You're not alone in this." Issei smiles as he feels his eyes about to burst like dams. "Guys I uh, I hope you don't see me as a monster" he says as he looks down at the ground. But I can't stop the current course I'm on."
"Of course not monster slayer," Motohama said as a joke. "Keep up the good work, we have what we need to frame the other schools." Issei looks at them strangely as he feels his arm ache with pain.
"Oh?" He asks as the two then start to walk away.
"Yeah, we're taking some classes here again so hopefully you're in one with us. But basically we have some classified info that'll show that these schools are actually gang cultured centers. Each school has kids working on some kind of magic, they're summoning creatures to try and take over the city and maintain territory. We're gonna plan a raid on the labs that are producing this black magic. We'll fill you in alright? In the meantime we'll dump all this crap off on them to get the PSD off your backs. In return you need to maintain a low profile over this school. We don't care if it's your territory now, keep things quiet at all costs."
Issei nods as the three all depart to their classes. The two agents look back at Issei as he exits the roof. "Looks like we got him under control," Matsuda said calmly. "For now" Motohama said as he leaned up against a fence. "We're gonna get killed if we're caught doing this, you know. I mean that literally." Matsuda said, looking at his partner in crime. "We're protecting the only real allies we may have in this war. This is our service to our country" Motohama said as he adjusted his glasses. The two then let the silence flow.
Rias sat alone with herself as memories of her childhood flashed before her eyes.
"He's MINE!" Rias would yell, holding a plushie she made of Issei as a little girl. "You can't just own one. You have to make sure they die first, and then save them. Then they become a member of your house." Her father says with kind and gentle words while patting Rias's hair. "But I want him now! Riser scares me!" Her father laughs as he hugs his daughter tightly. "Oh he cares for you, we all do sweetie. We don't want you to ruin this boy's life like that. You'll have to wait till the time is right. I remember when I had a crush on a human woman in the human world, but if I acted on it I would never have met your beautiful mother. Sometimes waiting is for the best!" Rias's mother giggles in the corner of the room as her father holds her and puts Rias on her mothers lap. "Now be a good girl while I'm gone, and if you are I'll get you some ice cream." Rias's eyes light up. "YAAAAY ICE CREAM!" she yells. Her soft sweet smile fades as a picture of Riser stares back at her. The young man appeared to be in his late teens, waiting for Rias to age as he too grew in years, watching, waiting, lingering.
"Was I really always this controlling?" Rias would ask as she remembered staring at the crystal ball for years. Watching, observing, studying, practically worshipping the ground Issei stood on. Her heart, breaking when his did. In the represent day, she looked at him now as he guided her to their lockers.
"What do we do now?" Rias asked. "We carry on, business as usual. You need to take the back seat, give yourself a rest" Issei said calmly. I'm taking control here on out. This school is mine."
"Is it though?" she asked. "It will be, and by that logic it already is." Issei said. He then looks at her with a smile as his arm suddenly cramps. "AGH!" he yells as he holds onto his arm, feeling the muscle tissue tighten as the demon within him betrays his flesh. "Issei! What's wrong?"
"I need Akeno. She can free it from that dragon, my arm I mean!" Rias takes a few steps away as Issei falls to the ground. "OH GOD! IT HURTS!" He cries out for help. "I'll get her for you, we'll get that arm fixed. Head to the clubhouse, it's not cleaned yet so we can still use it." Issei looks over at Rias as he feels his muscles tighten into molecules, shrinking and expanding from nothing into something. He watches as Rias hurries off and picks himself up. "I gotta get there," he says to himself, looking at the clubhouse."
Meanwhile as Issei sat on the couch in the research club, Akeno walked out of the shower with a wet towel on as she undid her hair. "Sorry about the wait" Akeno says as she undoes her hair. She then walks over to Issei while untying her yellow bow. "No, it's fine. I'm sorry for not giving you a heads up. The arm is contracting worse than ever." Akeno then sits on the ground with her long black hair. Issei finds himself frozen in a panic as he sees Raynare instead of Akeno, mixing the two up as Lord Issei rule his mind rent free, while Iessi releases chemicals in the body to fight Lord Issei's presence off. Two different beings fighting in a foreign body.
"Oh shit" He says as he finds himself frozen in fear. "That's hardly your fault Issei." Akeno says with a seductive voice. "Now, let's get this started." Issei pays attention to Akeno's wet skin and lips. Her faintly purple eyes and very light peach lip gloss covering her lips. She rubs his hand and arm with her soft angle like hands. "Hey uh, so why are we doing this again? How does it get my arm back?" Akeno giggles as Rodney passes by. "And why are you all wet?" Issei asks.
"Oh I had time to grab a quick shower, but I thought I'd have a little more time. Oh well, now here, we'll have to drain the demon's energy by sucking it!" She says as she takes her lips and sucks on the edge of Issei's finger. He jumps as his nerves shock him. "Uhhhh, listen, is there any way Rias can do this?" He asks as he looks around for Rodney in hopes that he's not been seen yet.
"Hey, I have a crush on this guy but he's totally clueless" Akeno's eyes begin to glow strange mixtures of colors. "Ummmmmmmmm" Issei said to Akeno's remark as he felt Akeno hug him with a wet towel on. But his heart stopped as soon as he felt a similar presence, besides Rodney staring at Akeno from behind Issei felt Raynare wrapping her arms around him. He freaks out, shoving Akeno off as he sees the fallen angel smirk at him. "Come back Issei, come back to me."
"NO!"
Issei looked up and saw Rodney staring back at him and Akeno. Without even saying a word he just sighs and walks out. "Wait, no Rodney!" Akeno says as she rushes off to catch him. "Rodney, wait!" She runs off to catch him when suddenly he ambushes her, wraps her with his tentacles, bonding her to him as he looks around her. "Hey, you there?! Is anything speaking to you?!" Rodney asks in a panic as Akeno finds herself flustered. "No?! I don't think-" She says as Rodney looks all around her. "ISSEI! GET HERE RIGHT NOW!" Rodney lets Akeno go as Issei rushes over. "What's the matter?!" Suddenly he's beaten to the ground by Rodney, only able to escape after lasting long enough to escape from Rodney's grasp, who had the element of surprise.
"MAN WHAT THE HELL?!" He asks as Rodney stood his ground. "You did this to her! You made Akeno like this!" He says as he walks over and grabs Issei by the collar. "Dude what's your fucking problem?! I'm just as confused as you are!" Issei asks as Rodney lifts him off the ground. "ASSHOLE! YOU MESSED UP AKENO!" Akeno felt her eyes water as she listened to Rodney. "How could you mess with someone's head like this?! You selfish prick!" Issei tunes out Rodney's yelling as his friend turns into the fearless phenix, Riser himself. Looking around, Issei felt his heart spike. He panics as he begins to regain control of his arm, only for Rodney to grab it. "LET GO!" Issei yells, pulling his arm away from Rodney. "Hey, are you li-" Issei delivers a punch that catches Rodney off guard. "I SAID LET GO!" Issei yells with fear trembling in his voice. Rodney looks into Issei's eyes, noticing an array of dark colors flashing within the pupils. Issei loses himself and becomes the very creature that he was when he fought Riser. He gets Rodney to the ground and turns the tides.
SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP! YOU DON'T THINK I'M MESSED UP TOO! DOES YOUR RETARDED MIND REALLY THINK THAT I'M SOME MALICIOUS DEVIL LIKE YOU! I'M SCARED I'M LOSING MY SANITY! AND THIS ALL STARTED BECAUSE OF YOUR KIND! YOU DEVILS AND FALLEN FREAKS STARTED THIS! NOT MAN!" Issei throws Rodney across the hallway, Rodney takes the hit. He dusts himself off and gets up, his tentacles spread out as Issei's gauntlet begins to glow green. "I don't even know why you're here Rodney. When I'm done with your kind, it will be man that you serve, not yourselves.
Rodney just stares at Issei and Akeno for a second before he gets back up. He walked over to her as she stood there confused. Issei sat on the ground as tears began to fall from his eyes. As Rodney goes to Akeno, she slaps his hand away. "Don't touch me!" She walks away hurt and slams the door. Issei begins to sob a little, desperately trying to hold back his cries as he begins to experience a familiar episode. Riser's laughter echoes throughout his mind, taunting him, mocking him. Akeno hears this and begins to sob as well. "I'm sorry Rodney, I didn't mean for this." Issei says as he clenches his hands. He then looks up at Rodney, who looks down at him with a blank expression. "Issei" Rodney says, before suddenly experiencing a punch. "Of course you didn't mean this! It was the devil who did!" Issei yelled sarcastically as he stood his ground, raising his arms into a fighting stance. "You dirty reject!" Rodney just stares at Issei as he too walks away. "I'm not doing this right now" Rodney said softly before leaving.
After School
"Alright guys!"
Rias said as she sat on the bed with a cup of tea. Issei laid on the bed while the others found some spots in the bedroom to chill in. Rodney was the only one standing up. "We're here today because Issei and Rodney were right" the two give each other a dirty look. "So we need to figure out where to go from here. Our lives are changing at an insane pace. Which means that for now, we're on an indefinite hiatus from club activities. This also means we need to have each others backs" Rias says as she glances over at Issei, then at Rodney. Everyone looks around with gloom and doom, Yuuto and Issei give Rodney a dirty glare as he gives them some back, Akeno also shares the love by staring around at everyone else in this Mexican standoff with eyes, leaving Rias, Asia, and Koneko confused as they watch tensions rise and rise and rise until suddenly-"
"Hello!" Said Issei's mother as she holds a book. "Uhhhh mom, why do you have that?" Issei asked as his mother set down snacks. "I've brought snacks and something to share with y'all oh I know this will be a treat! After meditating from mass I felt in my heart that I'm needed here. The world is such a tense place and I can sense that some of you are exhausted." She then sits down and opens the book to a picture of Issei as a baby, his behind pointing right at the camera. "Psh, what did God tell you to do, leak nudes" Issei says with bitterness and sarcasm. Akeno, Rodney, Yuuto, and Issei's hearts all drop as they try to think about how this woman could possibly know about their situation, but all this tension ends once they get a glimpse of Issei standing with his bottle naked in the kitchen. "Wait mom, what do you mean by cheer up?! How did you?"
"Let's see Issei as a little boy shall we?" Everyone laughs, forgetting about what happened as Rias blushes to her husband's baby pictures. "MOM!!!!" Issei yells as Rias and Asia go gaga over Issei's baby pictures. "Man mom, why did you have to break my balls like this?" Issei says, sighing as Yuuto finds himself laughing. "Awwww it's a little tiny Issei, he's so cute and ridiculous! Oh this brings back memories of me as a child!" Rias says as her cheeks glow red. "Yeah yeah we get it honey you stalked me!" Everyone else laughs as Rias turns the page and exposes Issei in the sink bath as payback. "Mom! Please get that out of here!" Issei yelled. "Nah, she's fine Issei. We're all just joking. Besides, she seems like a great mom!"
"Haha, Yuuto's got a point" Rodney comments in an attempt to act friendly. I'm sure we're ones to talk though!" Yuuto laughs as he turns his head back over to Rodney. "You're right, like I'd know. I would if people like you never existed!" Yuuto says as he stares Rodney down. "Would we!" Yuuto says this all while staring at Rodney, but Akeno took offense to this as well, feeling shame and guilt as she stares right back at Yuuto with a dirty glare. "Akeno, what are you-?" Rodney's question is interrupted by Yuuto. "Oh I'm sorry Akeno you forgave him and wanna ride that now? I'd be happy if it weren't for-" Suddenly Akeno punches Yuuto. The mother just stares in shock as Rias uses her powers to try and hide the whole thing from her while scolding her team. Under a trance, Issei's mother sat in place as Rias and Issei scrambled to simmer the fight.
"AKENO WHAT THE HELL?!" Issei yelled back as Akeno pouted and looked away. Rodney stood there in shock that Akeno defended him until he found an aggressive side once Issei stood up to confront Akeno. Chaos erupted in the bedroom as Issei and Yuuto got into a yelling match with Akeno and Rodney. Koneko watches with popcorn while Asia hides.
"ENOUGH!"
Rias screamed as she used a shock wave to disarm the conflict. Everyone just stared at her in fear as Yuuto picked up the picture he was on with Issei playing with a friend of his, the other boy held a game boy with Issei as a sword behind them laid against the wall. Everyone could see Yuuto crying as he picked up the photo album book. "Who is this Issei?" Yuuto asked, pointing to the picture. "I uh, don't remember. We used to hang out all the time back in kindergarten. But his dad got a job overseas so he moved." Yuuto sighs as he wipes his eyes. "And that sword?" Yuuto asked. "Look man, it's been a while, I was like five." Issei says, responding as a smile stretches across Yuuto's face despite the tears.
"Wow" He said. "A holy sword, I'd never thought that I'd see the day where my eyes would lay on one again." He then closes the book and puts it aside. "Great pictures man" he says as everyone stares at him. Akeno feels guilty for their outburst and walks over to try and get Yuuto comfortable. Rodney lays back on the wall and watches as peace enters the group once more. "Man, if this is the state of our group. I can't imagine the state of the city." Rodney said to himself. "I wonder how those people are doing? The people we all left behind."
In the depths of Hell itself, a man with long red hair overlooked a burning city. "I'm sorry Rias" Zeoticus, Rias's father says as he sees riots outside his house. People hold up signs demanding for something, anything to make the situation right. "Why did you lie to us? Who's the real enemy? Who are we?" Many more questions followed as people chanted with anger slipping off their tongues. "I can't talk to you for a long time. It's for your own good!" He says to himself. Then tears up as he looks at a picture of him with his family. His wife, son and daughter were all smiling happily right before the moment was captured. "I'll miss you two" he says as he sits down and cries. His wife sits right by his side, comforting him as he looks out to the ruins he once ruled as Hell. He once thought it was a paradise called Hell, but it turned out to be nothing more than another suburb of the real thing.
