On a cold and stormy night, a woman was standing at the doorstep of a family. She was dressed in all black and held a basket in her hands. Inside the basket, a beautiful baby girl was sleeping peacefully. The woman looked at the child in the basket with eyes full of hatred.
" Your family shouldn't have messed with mine. Now I'm going to make them regret it. What's more painful than not being able to see your new born baby, huh? It's a shame I can't keep you. I would've used this beauty of yours to make money." Saying this, the woman whose name was Tasha, put the basket down, rang the doorbell and hid behind a nearby tree. It didn't take long for a woman to open the door. The woman looked around but saw nobody. She was about to close the door when she noticed the sleeping child in the basket. She immediately took it inside. Tasha then came out of her hiding spot.
" Bye bye baby. I hope you have a miserable life." She said and started laughing like a maniac. She then turned around and disappeared into the night.
INSIDE THE HOUSE...
" Honey. Look what I found on our doorstep." The woman named Marie Jackson said to her husband, Randy Jackson. He looked at the child in his wife's hands.
" I think she is a new born baby." He said while staring at the beautiful child.
" I think so too. Can we keep her?" Marie asked while looking at the child fondly.
" I don't see why not. Lily could use a sibling anyway." Lily is their one month old baby.
" So what should we name her?" He asked.
" How about Lavender?" She said refusing to look at her husband. She was too mesmerised by the child's beauty to care about anything else.
" Sounds good. Now where is she going to sleep?" Randy asked also admiring his new child's cuteness.
" She can sleep with us or with Lily. But I think it'd be better if she slept with us. You know how Lily is. She is very.... how do I put this...." Marie said trying to find the right words to describe Lily.
" Stingy, selfish, greedy, bratty, a spoilt one month old." He finished the sentence for her.
" Yeah that." she laughed.
" Okay then. Time to go to bed." Randy stood up and went to the bedroom. Marie took one of Lily's dress and put it on Lavender. The next day was... how do I put it.... chaotic. Lily just couldn't accept this. She wakes up only to find her parents with another baby. No way!! She has to go!! Lily threw a fit the whole day because she wanted all the attention. Which of course, gave Randy and Marie a headache. They didn't say she was a brat for nothing. And that is how the baby from an unknown family found a loving family... well, mostly loving😅
TEN YEARS LATER
Lavender has grown into a beautiful and intelligent girl. With her dark brown hair, green doey eyes and full pink lips. And Lily, well she inherited everything from her mother. Except the attitude of course. Aside from sister's constant bullying, she was happy with her life. Today, she is going to visit the park with her family. When they finally reached the park, the first thing the rat... I mean Lily did was...
" DAD I WANT ICE CREAM!! NOW!!" She screamed like her head was about to go KABOOM. Randy shook his head helplessly. They didn't know what to do with this girl anymore. They tried everything, being nice, being patient, they even used tough love, but she was still asking bratty as she was when she was born.
" Lily. Don't ask for something like that. You can't just scream at dad. He is out elder. Remember?" Lavender said to Lily. But unfortunately this made our " precious"and """respectful"""Queen" mad.
" Nobody asked for your opinion brat!!" Lily shouted angrily.
" And no one asked for you to be born and yet here you are." Lavender said in her usual calm tone. Her parents couldn't help but laugh. This was a daily routine. Lily shouts, Lavender roasts her, and then she starts....
" Wahhhhh!! How could you say something like that to me?! Mommy, daddy!! Wahhh!!" Yeah... she starts doing that.
" It's okay. Stop crying. Let's go and get your Ice cream." Randy said while trying to hold his laughter in.
" No! You go and get it for me. I want to go and play." Lily said and stormed off to the play ground.
" It's okay dad. I'll go with you if you want." Lavender smiled brightly. Even though she just roasted Lily ( A round of applause for that👏👏👏👏👏👏), she is a very lively and polite person. In short, she only roasts brats.
" Then let's go." When they reached the Ice cream truck, their eyes almost fell out. The line was longer than the Great Wall Of China.
" This is gonna take a while." Randy sighed.
" Why don't you go and play while I wait."
" Okay." Lavender said and ran off. Lavender was walking around the park looking for someone to befriend. She stopped when she noticed two boys and one girl. It looks as if they are siblings. But they had some slight differences between them. They were all next to a beautiful woman. However, one of the boys was sitting on the bench next to the woman who was definitely their mother, while the other two were trying to convince him to play with them. He had a really icy aura around him. But he was also very handsome. He had midnight black hair and a pair of deep blue eyes. He looked like the male version of the woman they next to. Lavender could think of only one word when she saw him.
" MINE."
She ran up to them.
" Hello." She said, she was really excited. The three people looked at her. The boy whom she was looking at earlier also made the same face she had made when she first saw him. But This time he had two words running in his head.
" BEAUTY and MINE." This is what you call obsession at first sight.
" Hi." He responded enthusiasticly.
" My name is Aiden. What about you?" He asked giving her a bright smile. His siblings looked at him like he was an alien. Since when was their brother so nice? And who knew this kid can smile? They were his siblings and he barely ever looked at them let alone smile at them. His mother was even more shocked. Every time they come to the park, her husband had to pay for the hospital bills of some people who approached him. But if he is feeling kind, he just insults and roasts them. He mostly does that to girls. It still ends in paying money though. You know, for the therapy of the kids he insulted. It's a good thing we're rich. The Kim family definitely didn't lack money, thank God for that. Especially when you have a child like Aiden. Now, he isn't just talking to a girl but smiling as well. Is he possessed?!! Does he have a fever?!! Is he planning something?!! The woman looked at her son suspiciously.
" I'm Lavender. Wanna be friends?" She beamed brightly.
" Okay." He said surprising everyone. What in the name of mother nature and father time is happening? Is he planning to befriend her and then eventually murder her? We need an explanation!
" Let's go to the play ground." Lavender said and started dragging Aiden to the play ground.
" Hey! Wait for us!" His twin brother, Adrian shouted. He started running after them, so did their little sister, Alexa. Lavender stopped dragging Aiden when they got to the play ground. Adrian and Alexa almost bumped into them when they stopped abruptly.
" What do you want to do Aiden?" Lavender asked.
" How about we play on the slide?" Alexa asked excited.
" No one asked you." He said coldly.
" Just because you're one year older than me doesn't mean you can be so cold to me. We are in the same class you know." Alexa pouted.
" We're in the same class because you were bugging mom and dad to tell the principal to put us in the same class. Because of you, mom and dad had to end up buying the whole school." He said irritated. Can't they just leave them alone.
" So what? Dad always says he has so much money he doesn't know what to do with it. You don't see him complaining. Plus, if we're talking about spending money, then you are definitely number one on that list. Do you know how much he spends on those kids in just a week? He could've bought me another Island with that money." Alexa said angrily. Lavender chocked on air when she heard another Island. Does that mean she already has one or more? How rich are these people exactly? Suddenly, Lily came up to them. She completely ignored Lavender and the others and went straight to Aiden.
" Hi. I'm Lily. What's your name?" She asked giving him a sweet smile. When Lily saw Aiden, of course she also wanted him. Because you know, she's a brat. She became angry when she saw Lavender was standing so close to him and even holding his hand. So she decided to go to him. She thought she was much prettier than Lavender so once he see's her, he will forget about Lavender. Little did she know what was about to happen.
" First of, I didn't ask for your name. Secondly, can't you see I'm standing here with someone. Why not introduce yourself to her first." Aiden said coldly.
" Oh, I already know her." Lavender said looking at Lily's face with hidden anger in her eyes. She saw Aiden first. There is no way she is going to give him to anyone else. Especially not Lily.
" Really? When did you meet her?" Aiden asked.
" She's my sister." Lavender casually said.
" Oh. You don't look alike at all. How come you're so pretty, and she... well she looks like plastic shaped as a human being." Aiden said looking at Lily.
" I thought I was the only one who saw that." Lavender said while laughing. At this point, Lily had already started crying.
" Wahhhhh!! Mommy!! Lavender is bullying me!!" Lily cried and started running to her Mom.
" Is she always such a crybaby?" Aiden asked Lavender who was still laughing at Lily.
" Are you kidding me? It has even turned into a daily routine. If she doesn't go a day without crying she will never be at peace." Lavender said. It wasn't a lie though. Lily throws tantrums like it's her job.
" How are you sisters? She is nothing like you." Adrian asked. He also found it weird that they are related. One look at Lily and you can tell she is a brat. But Lavender looked like a fallen angel. So sweet and polite. She looked so calm and friendly too. He just didn't get how they are related.
" Actually I'm adopted. So we're not blood related." Lavender explained.
" That makes sense." Alexa said.
