Reily Gibson grew up as a happy normal child or at least he did until he was eight years old.
It was an old regular evening with nothing of note. He got back to home from school as usual and went to his room to play. Time flew by and Reily forgot to even have dinner. He was lucky.
He didn't know that what happened at that dinner table would change his regular life.
Time went on and Reily, even as a kid started noticing some things. For example, his parents who usually joke or tease each other spoke less and less.
He noticed that they didn't have breakfast or dinner together as often as they did. They didn't go shopping nor on family outing as frequently as before.
Then one night, Reily woke up to the muffle sounds of shouting. He wondered what it could be and was thirsty anyway, so he went downstairs to get a drink.
Young Reily would never forget the scene he saw that night.
As Reily got closer to the sound, he noticed that it was coming from his parent's room. As he got closer, the sounds became even clearer.
"...THe fucK is Wrong with you!"
"What's wrong with me!? You! YOu are what's wrong with ME! What did I ever see in a psycho bitCH like you!"
"You're a disgusting DOg!"
"Yeah well, this DOG Provides for this family! Not spend it all on Some stupid lipstick or DRess."
"And I COOk your food, Wash your Clothes AND MAintain this House while YOu Are screwing A Whore at work!"
"Cuz that WhoRE is TEN TIMEs the Women YOU Are!"
"BAstard!"
*Slap*
"BitCh!"
*Bang*
Reily saw his father and mother arguing, shouting and even hitting each other.
Reily didn't understanded why they were hitting each other but he was scared. He quickly ran to his bedroom, locked the doors and hide under the blanket while trying to drown out the noises.
That was the day Reily lost his innocent childish mind.
Reily's parents didn't talk to each other, but they still lived in the same house for the next 3 years. They sometime hit each other over arguments which became more and more frequent.
Reily tried to mend their relationship in indirect ways. When they were almost about to argue, Reily would come to them to ask help with something. He would also try not to annoy them with his wants or needs.
When he slept, he would always pray for his family to be together until he was old enough to live on his own and for the constant bickering to stop.
Because of this constant emotionally tiring life, he became more withdrawn than most kids around his age. He tried to mature to lessen his family burdens. He didn't ask for anything for his birthdays.
As long as this family could stay together, he was ok with anything.
Reily got used to it over the years but after his 12th birthday, his parents divorced, leaving him with his mother.
Starting from that year, he never hoped for miracles ever again. If things went bad, it went bad.
As a kid, you are powerless.
After his parents' divorce, something inside of him broke.
He became cynical and wondered whether life in this world had any meaning. It became so bad that he sometime wonders if he should commit suicide or not.
He also developed 'issues' with affection. He didn't put any effort in to maintain real friendships. He went into the world of 2D.
Reily enjoyed escaping into the worlds of his favourite characters.
No, he would call them characters. Because to him, those 'characters' on screen were family. They were more real to him than real life.
It was a way for him to escape his reality and go on adventures, solve mysteries and hunt for treasures.
It was also where he found 'Love'. Starting from Sao's Asuna and Kirito, he learned what love looked like. He wanted to have relationships with people who would love and support him from behind, never pushing forward but always ready to catch you if you fall.
As his downward spiral into the Otaku hole, he discovered the terms 'waifu', the 'dere' types and weeb talk. As his exploration into anime deepened, he found a character that he could proudly say was his type.
That girl was Matsuzka Satou from Happy Sugar Life.
A love so strong that it transcends life and death. A relationship where you and your partner support each other and the strange warmth that fills up your insides when you see that person.
That was what he wanted.
Of course, he knew he was never going to find that kind of love in real life.
So, a different kind of warmth had to be found. The kind that didn't come because of one person.
Over the years, after a lot of searching, he found it.
He started feeling happy and fulfil again from watching slice of life anime like Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou, Daily life of high school boys, Natsume Yuujinchou and so on.
He thinks he started liking these shows more as he grew up was the fact that these reminded him of what could've been. He envied their colorful family and friends. Yet he felt that a part of his was experiencing these adventurers with them.
Of course that didn't mean he only watched anime. Because of cable, he also watched various cartoons and tv show while growing up.
What he usually watched would be Power Rangers just because of the timing. He enjoyed the show. It was cheesy and to a kid that has only watch animated shows, it was a treat.
He watched Power Rangers as a kid, but when he searched further, he learned its origins. It was called Super Sentai. He saw current airing show was Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger so, he decided to give it a try.
He instantly fell in love with the show.
He admired the way they face every problem with courage and vigor and Captain Marvelous definition of what it means to be a pirate.
Reily's favourite quote in the show is "I take everything I like and make it my own."
He wanted to be like them. He wanted to be more courageous and daring. But Reily lacked the resolve and lost himself in normalcy. Clinging to the escape of the 2D world.
3 years later
"These youth travel the great sea of space searching for adventure and romance. These hearty fellows proudly bear the pirate name! And their name is ... Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!"
First person Pov
"Man, this show never gets old. This is much better than Super Megaforce but then again, anything is better than that."
"*Sigh* I really wish I could be a real life Super Sentai or Power Rangers, instead of my boring life in this world but hey, at least I don't have to fear of being constantly attack by monsters/aliens or the earth exploding at any time." I nodded to my own thoughts.
"Well, no time to think these things, it's time to get ready for another boring day at school."
Then I heard a shout from my mother.
"Reily. get down here right now! I'll drag you out if I have to!"
" I'm coming! I'm coming!" I shouted back to my mother.
"*Sigh* I really don't want to go to school. but I'll have to so I can get into a good college, find a decent job that pays well and support me and my mother when I'm older."
*Ugh~*
"Sometimes I ask myself 'why am I here just to suffer?' But then I realize I'm scare of death. I also don't want to miss out on any good anime and video games. So normal is good."
I stretch my arms as I walk downstair to see mom cooking in the kitchen.
"Seriously Reily, you should wake up early. You know I'm really busy doing all these housework before work." She says while cooking.
"I know mom. I just forgot to set my alarm last night." I said back.
"Anyway, I gonna get ready for school. Anything I can do to help?" I asked her.
"No, everything is ok. Just get yourself ready for school."
After I got ready, I ate breakfast and pick up the lunch box.
"I'm going out!"
"Ok, take care!" She yelled from the bathroom.
Then as I walk out the front door, I saw a grenade land in front of me. I said the first thing that came into my mind.
"Shit."

When I woke up, I shot up from the ground.
"What the heck just happened!"
I quickly look around me. There was nothing but an endless white void.
"There's no way I'm in heaven, so this must be hell. Or maybe purgatory..."
Then I heard a voice behind me.
"Oh, why would you think that?"
I subconsciously answered.
"Because there's no way I would get in heaven, I didn't do that much good. Sure, I've given a dollar or two to the homeless but I'm the type of person that doesn't care about who got hurt as long as it's not the one I care about."
"I see. Care to sit down, Reily?"
I quickly turned around there sat Morgan Freeman. My eyes widen.
"y..yo..you're"
"That right Reily, I am God."

"Ha-ahhahahaha~"
He wiped the tears on his eyes as his form changed to a white mass shaped like a man.
"Just kidding. You should've seen the look on your face."
"You mortals reactions are always so amusing."
"Anyway, I'm R.O.B and you just died ". He spoke with ease.
(OMG, is this going to be like those fanfics! Am I about to get Isekai'd?)
My thought went on overdrive when it suddenly hit me.
"Mom! What about my mom, is she ok?"
"Don't worry, she's fine. Just knock out from the blast of that grenade and now she's in the hospital."
*Phew* I let out a breath of relief knowing that she's fine.
"Excuse me R.O.B, but may I ask who threw that grenade in front of my house?"
"About that it was my mistake." He said nonchalantly.
"Anyway, I'll give you 5 wishes of your choosing. 1 for every 10 years of your past life. You were supposed to die at the age of 70 with a meteor falling on your house but died at 15 so 5 wishes." He said while showing me five fingers.
I narrowed my eyes and asked, "What about the 5 years left?"
"Well, I can't make it a wish, so it'll be a body type of your choosing."
"Ok, thank you very much R.O.B."
"Sure kid, no problem. Now about the wishes, fill them on this page, after that sign here, here and here. And remember, no omnipotent wishes". He gave me a paper.

1.To retain my memories, have photographic memory and to make it so that my mind cannot be enter nor control by anyone and combine these into 1 wish.
2. My mom lives a happy life, win the lottery and forget about me and my father.
3. To have the full powers of Gokaigers with their mobirates and all the ranger keys and Gokai Galleon and make it so that the ship will include all the other Gokai Machines and repair themselves when damaged and have Harry Potter style rooms which looks small on the outside and big on the inside. The ship will not run out of power and can go to anywhere and any world in both space and water and have multiverse travel map of each world. The Ranger keys from the new series can be earned.
4. Interdimensional connections with TV, Phone and Pc on the ship so I can watch anime, movies and Tv shows in any world I choose with unlimited access that only I can use with infinite battery.
5. Arc of Embodiment from Fairy Tail that doesn't use magic but use stamina and cannot create living things.

Then R.O.B took the paper back, looked at it and said, "Oddly specific for the 3rd wish and the 1st wish is like 3 wishes, but they are all mind related and has no attack power...sure this can be done."
He raised an eye brown before asking "And about the second wish, may I ask why?" and I answered.
"Because I don't want her to be sad and miserable. she deserved a happy life after all she have been through. Plus, she's the only other person I care about in that world."
He smiled and said, "So how do you want to look?"
"Black/brown hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 10 inches when fully grown, Human."
"Done, and since I'm feeling generous today, I'll make it so that you can understand every language you hear and every word that come out of your mouth will be translated to the speaker or listener language but you can turn it off so you can have private conversions."
"Before I go, can I ask which world I'm going to?" I asked.
"Sure, kid. I'm going to send you to Demon Slayer with your body at 14 years old, so you can train yourself."
"Your ship, ranger keys and magic are going to be locked until you mastered Water and Thunder breathing. If you mastered them, your body will be strong enough to handle these powers." he answered.
"I will drop you near Sakonji Urokodaki house, just go straight for 20 minutes in the direction you're facing when you wake up." he said that as I started to disappear.
"Now it's time. See ya. Have a good one." He said as he waved at me.
"Of course. Thank you, for this chance."
