Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 - To the Spirit Hall

**********

—The next day—

After settling everything within the empire, Lev was finally ready to head toward Spirit Hall alone.

Convincing Tsunade and the others to let him leave by himself had been quite the challenge. They had been reluctant to part with him, forcing Lev to spend the entire night reassuring them until dawn finally arrived.

Ning Fengzhi and the other upper echelons of the Eternal Divine Empire were also aware of his departure. Though they were naturally concerned about their Emperor entering Spirit Hall alone, they understood that Lev had already made up his mind.

"Good luck, Your Majesty."

Those were the words they gave him before his departure.

With everything settled, Lev finally began his journey toward Spirit City.

He could have arrived there instantly by locking onto Qian Renxue's power signature and using his spatial abilities.

However, Lev deliberately chose not to.

He wanted to take things slowly.

After all, despite everything that had happened since his arrival in this world, he had barely had the opportunity to properly travel across the continent and experience its scenery for himself.

So instead of taking the fastest route possible, he decided to fly there.

As he traveled through the skies without stopping, the scenery below gradually changed. Mountains, forests, towns, and cities passed beneath him as he continued toward his destination.

By nightfall, Lev had finally arrived in Spirit City.

Rather than immediately heading toward Spirit Hall, he chose to find a luxurious hotel and settle down for the night.

Inside his room, Lev sat comfortably beside the window, casually sipping tea while admiring the beautiful nightscape of Spirit City.

The lights illuminating the streets created a magnificent view.

His gaze eventually shifted toward the enormous structure in the distance.

The Spirit Hall Palace.

It was already within his field of vision.

"Tomorrow."

Lev smiled faintly before taking another sip of tea.

There was no reason to rush.

He had come here alone precisely because he wanted to deal with the matter personally, and there was no need to start anything in the middle of the night.

With that thought, Lev continued enjoying the peaceful night before eventually heading to bed.

**********

—The next morning—

After a good night's rest, Lev finally left the hotel and headed toward the Spirit Hall Palace.

He wasn't worried about being recognized.

Using one of the invisibility abilities he had acquired a long time ago, Lev had completely concealed his presence.

His confidence wasn't without reason.

Under normal circumstances, his invisibility could not be detected unless someone possessed extraordinarily sharp senses or a level of power far beyond ordinary Spirit Masters.

With his presence completely concealed, Lev casually walked through the gates of Spirit Hall.

No one noticed him.

No guards stopped him.

No one even realized that the Emperor of the Eternal Divine Empire was currently walking among them.

Lev calmly observed his surroundings as he made his way deeper into the massive structure.

Spirit Hall was far different from the places he had previously visited.

Countless Spirit Masters could be seen moving throughout the corridors, while various attendants and personnel busily carried out their duties.

Lev quietly observed everything with interest.

Since this was his first time inside Spirit Hall, he took his time exploring the place rather than immediately rushing toward his destination.

Eventually, after wandering through several corridors and halls, he finally found the place he had been looking for.

The Supreme Pontiff's Hall.

Lev stopped in front of the enormous entrance.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"Finally."

Without hesitation, Lev stepped forward and entered the Supreme Pontiff's Hall while remaining completely invisible.

Today, he will finally meet Bibi Dong.

*****

Supreme Pontiff's Palace Hall,

Inside the spacious and silent hall, Bibi Dong sat upon her throne with a deep frown on her beautiful face.

Her hand tightened around her staff as she stared toward the enormous palace doors.

She had already sensed an unfamiliar presence within the hall.

What surprised her, however, was the fact that the intruder had entered without alerting any of the guards stationed throughout the palace.

Even more strangely, she could not sense any obvious hostility from the presence.

'Who would be bold enough to sneak into Spirit Hall?'

Bibi Dong narrowed her eyes.

Anyone who dared to trespass into this place should have understood the consequences.

Yet this mysterious individual had not only managed to enter undetected but had also remained completely calm despite being surrounded by countless Spirit Masters.

Curiosity gradually overcame her suspicion.

"Come in."

Her voice echoed throughout the hall.

Although she had yet to sense any killing intent from the intruder, Bibi Dong remained fully prepared.

She had no intention of underestimating someone capable of infiltrating the Supreme Pontiff's Palace without being noticed.

Outside the hall, Lev raised an eyebrow in surprise.

'She noticed me?'

A faint smile appeared on his face.

He had expected that someone at Bibi Dong's level might possess unusually sharp senses, but he hadn't expected her to detect him this quickly.

Still, there was no reason to hide anymore.

Lev pushed open the enormous doors and calmly stepped inside.

At the same time, he deactivated his invisibility.

His figure immediately became visible.

The Supreme Pontiff's Hall was enormous.

Lev casually walked forward, his footsteps echoing throughout the quiet chamber as he approached the throne at the far end.

Bibi Dong remained motionless as she watched him approach.

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

The moment Lev removed his hood, her expression changed.

She finally recognized him.

'Lev...'

The Emperor of the Eternal Divine Empire.

The man who had conquered both Heaven Dou Empire and Star Lou Empire in an astonishingly short period of time.

The same man who had caused Spirit Hall to repeatedly reconsider its plans.

Yet seeing him in person was completely different from reading reports about him.

Lev stopped at a reasonable distance from the throne and looked directly at Bibi Dong.

He had already known that she was beautiful.

Back on Earth, he had seen countless illustrations and depictions of Bibi Dong.

But none of them could compare to seeing her in person.

Her beauty was far beyond what he had imagined.

She possessed an elegance and majesty that made her seem almost otherworldly.

For a brief moment, Lev simply stared.

'She's even more beautiful in person.'

Bibi Dong, meanwhile, continued observing him carefully.

His calm expression.

His confident posture.

The complete lack of fear in his eyes.

Everything about him confirmed the reports she had received.

There was no doubt.

This was truly Lev.

"You are either incredibly foolish or extremely confident that you can leave this place unharmed."

Bibi Dong's voice was cold as she tightened her grip on her staff.

"State your purpose."

The moment her voice fell, five figures suddenly appeared beside her.

Their powerful auras immediately filled the hall.

All five were Titled Douluo.

They stood behind Bibi Dong like guardians, their eyes firmly locked onto Lev.

The atmosphere instantly became tense.

Yet Lev didn't even flinch.

He simply looked at Bibi Dong before calmly answering.

"I came here because I want to stop this war as peacefully as possible."

His straightforward response surprised Bibi Dong.

She had expected threats, demands, or perhaps even an attempt to intimidate Spirit Hall.

Instead, Lev had directly stated that he wanted peace.

Bibi Dong's brows furrowed.

She raised one hand, signaling the five Titled Douluo beside her to remain where they were.

There was no reason to act immediately.

She was curious.

'Why would he come here alone?'

Of all places, Lev had chosen to enter Spirit Hall—the very heart of the organization that had repeatedly clashed with his empire.

If he truly wanted a confrontation, bringing only himself was either an act of extraordinary confidence or proof that he possessed some hidden trump card.

But if he had genuinely come to negotiate...

Bibi Dong wanted to hear what he had to say.

"Peace?"

She repeated the word slowly, her gaze never leaving Lev.

"Then tell me, Emperor Lev..."

Her voice remained calm, but the sharpness in her eyes did not disappear.

"...what exactly are you offering in exchange for it?"

"I know that your goal has always been to unite the continent. Unfortunately, that goal is no longer realistic."

Lev calmly stated his purpose, his gaze remaining fixed on Bibi Dong.

"I came here because I once had the same idea. So, how about we formally end this war and prevent any more unnecessary deaths?"

Deep down, Lev already knew that things wouldn't be resolved that easily.

Bibi Dong was not someone who would simply surrender her ambitions because another person asked her to.

"And how exactly are you planning to accomplish that?"

Bibi Dong's voice remained cold.

As Lev had pointed out, uniting the continent had been one of Spirit Hall's long-standing objectives. Although she didn't take his proposal seriously yet, she was still curious about what he intended to do.

"Simple."

Lev smiled.

"Spirit Hall will merge with my empire, creating a single unified power across the continent—with me as its Emperor."

The answer was so straightforward that Bibi Dong's expression darkened.

"In other words, this is simply for the benefit of your empire."

Her voice carried a trace of anger as her spirit power began to surge.

Lev sighed quietly.

As expected.

He had already anticipated this reaction.

Before Bibi Dong could make her move, Lev casually dashed forward.

His figure vanished instantly.

"!"

Bibi Dong's pupils contracted.

BOOM!

A tremendous impact reverberated throughout the hall.

The five Titled Douluo standing beside Bibi Dong were sent flying almost simultaneously. Their bodies crashed heavily against the walls, leaving cracks in the structure.

Before Bibi Dong could react, Lev had already appeared directly in front of her.

His hand gently lifted her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze.

"There really is no other way, huh?"

Lev smiled faintly.

"If you don't like my proposal, then we can always end this war through another method."

Bibi Dong remained silent.

Her cold eyes stared directly at Lev as her mind struggled to process what had just happened.

It had all occurred too quickly.

One moment, Lev had been standing several meters away.

The next, he had effortlessly dealt with five Titled Douluo and appeared directly before her.

'So the reports were true...'

For the first time, Bibi Dong truly understood just how terrifying the man standing before her was.

Lev, meanwhile, couldn't help but notice how smooth Bibi Dong's skin felt beneath his fingers.

He had seen countless beautiful women throughout his journey, but Bibi Dong's beauty was still enough to catch him off guard.

"You..."

Bibi Dong's eyes narrowed.

Lev simply smiled.

Seeing that she still hadn't responded, he leaned slightly closer and quietly whispered beside her ear.

"We could get married and end this war peacefully."

Silence.

For several seconds, Bibi Dong didn't move.

Then—

Whoosh!

Her staff suddenly swung toward Lev.

The attack contained no hesitation.

Bibi Dong's face was flushed with anger.

She had tolerated enough.

As the Supreme Pontiff of Spirit Hall, she had never been treated this casually, much less by an enemy who had barged into her palace and started making outrageous proposals.

Lev effortlessly avoided the incoming attack.

"I'll give you some time to think about it."

He smiled as he took several steps backward.

"I'll be staying in Spirit City for a while anyway."

His figure began fading.

"See you tomorrow."

Before Bibi Dong could respond, Lev disappeared completely.

Silence returned to the Supreme Pontiff's Hall.

For several seconds, Bibi Dong remained motionless.

Then—

Crack!

The throne beneath her suddenly shattered under the pressure of her spirit power.

Her beautiful face was flushed with anger.

"That brat..."

Her voice trembled with fury.

"I'll tear him apart the next time he comes here!"

She took several deep breaths, desperately trying to calm herself.

Eventually, her gaze shifted toward the five Titled Douluo who had just recovered from Lev's attack.

Her expression became even colder.

"Useless."

The five elders lowered their heads without daring to respond.

Bibi Dong closed her eyes for a moment before regaining her composure.

"From now on, monitor Lev's every movement."

She opened her eyes, her gaze sharp.

"Find out where he's staying, who he meets, where he goes, and what he does. I want a report on every single movement he makes within Spirit City."

"Yes, Your Holiness!"

The five Titled Douluo immediately acknowledged the order.

Bibi Dong then looked toward the place where Lev had disappeared.

Her expression remained complicated.

That man had entered Spirit Hall alone, effortlessly defeated five Titled Douluo, provoked her without the slightest fear, and then casually left.

Most troublesome of all...

He had actually dared to propose marriage to her.

"Lev..."

Bibi Dong muttered his name through gritted teeth.

"I'll see what kind of confidence you have to act so arrogantly in front of me."

*****

In the Hotel,

In a flash, Lev used a teleportation spirit ability and returned to the hotel. For some reason, he was in a particularly good mood, a faint smile lingering on his face.

Although he had proposed marriage to Bibi Dong somewhat impulsively and partly as a joke, he couldn't deny that the idea itself was not entirely unreasonable. If she actually agreed, it would provide a peaceful solution to the conflict between the Spirit Hall and the Eternal Divine Empire.

Of course, the decision ultimately rested with Bibi Dong.

Since he had nothing else to do for the day, Lev decided to explore Spirit City. It was his first time visiting the city, and he was curious to see what made it different from the other places he had visited on the continent.

*****

Library,

After leaving the hotel, Lev spent the day wandering around Spirit City. He visited several restaurants, browsed through different shops, and even bought a few interesting items along the way.

He did nothing particularly important and simply enjoyed his time in the city.

However, just as the sun was beginning to set, Lev decided to visit one final place before returning to the hotel.

A faint smile appeared on his face when he noticed a familiar figure inside the building.

Without hesitation, Lev entered.

It turned out to be a library.

The interior was quiet, with rows upon rows of bookshelves filling the spacious building. People were scattered throughout the library, quietly reading or searching for books.

Lev casually walked through the shelves until he reached the person he had recognized.

She didn't seem to notice him at all. Her attention remained completely focused on the book in her hands.

Lev picked up another book from the shelf and stood beside her.

"Is that book really that interesting?"

His sudden voice interrupted her concentration.

The woman immediately looked toward him with clear hostility, but the moment she recognized who was standing beside her, her expression changed.

She instinctively took several steps backward, her eyes filled with wariness.

"Qian Renxue, we've met again."

Lev smiled faintly before returning the book in his hand to the shelf.

Seeing her reaction, he couldn't help but feel somewhat awkward.

He had expected her to be wary of him, but the hatred and fear written so clearly across her face made him feel as though he had done something particularly terrible to her.

"What are you doing here?"

Qian Renxue stared at him cautiously.

She had naturally heard some of the rumors surrounding Lev, but she still hadn't expected to encounter him alone in Spirit City.

"You can lower your guard. I've come in peace."

Lev answered casually.

However, he soon noticed that several people nearby had begun looking in their direction.

Most of them seemed confused about what was happening. Their attention was particularly focused on Qian Renxue, as though they couldn't understand why someone would casually approach her like this.

"You're brave enough to come here alone. Aren't you worried?"

Qian Renxue continued questioning him while carefully observing his every movement.

She didn't know how much of the information surrounding Lev was true, but considering everything he had accomplished recently, anyone with common sense would understand that he wasn't someone who would recklessly walk into the heart of the Spirit Hall's territory without having the confidence to leave.

"You really are a mother and daughter."

Lev suddenly muttered in surprise.

"W-What are you talking about?"

Qian Renxue frowned.

"Well, it's nothing."

Lev shrugged before looking toward the outside.

"It's getting late. I'm planning to stay in this city for a while, so we'll probably see each other again."

With that, Lev turned around and casually left the library.

He had originally wanted to talk to Qian Renxue a little longer, but the growing attention from the surrounding people made him decide to leave for now. There would be plenty of opportunities to talk later.

As Lev's figure disappeared from the library, Qian Renxue finally let out a quiet sigh of relief.

She had actually been nervous the entire time.

The confident attitude she displayed earlier had been little more than an act. She had no idea what Lev might do, especially after everything she had heard about him.

After calming herself down, Qian Renxue's expression became serious once again.

Why had Lev come to Spirit City?

What was he planning?

She pondered the matter for a while before ultimately deciding not to report their encounter immediately.

Instead, she would investigate him herself.

After all, Lev had personally said that he had come in peace.

Qian Renxue wanted to find out whether that was really the truth.

However, before she could continue thinking about it, she suddenly heard several whispers from the people nearby.

Her expression slowly changed.

As she listened to their conversation, her face gradually turned red with embarrassment.

She finally understood what everyone had been whispering about.

Unable to endure the attention any longer, Qian Renxue hurriedly left the library.

**********

—The next morning—

Supreme Pontiff's Palace Hall,

Bibi Dong was fully prepared this time in case Lev decided to sneak into the palace again. After witnessing his strength firsthand, she had already confirmed that the rumors surrounding the young Emperor were far from exaggerated. However, that did not mean she was willing to simply let go of what he had done to her the previous day.

She waited.

And waited.

Yet, as time passed, Lev's presence remained completely undetectable.

Bibi Dong's patience gradually began to wear thin. She had already forgotten what it felt like to lose her composure over something trivial, yet somehow, this young man had managed to bring that side of her back.

"Does that brat intend to lie to me?"

Bibi Dong muttered irritably.

She couldn't sense Lev anywhere within the hall. Eventually, she sighed as realization dawned on her.

She had been fooled.

The thought made her expression darken.

She had spent the morning waiting for someone who hadn't even told her when he would return. Worse, she had allowed herself to become irritated over the actions of someone she considered nothing more than a troublesome young man.

"I actually lost my temper over a brat..."

Bibi Dong sighed again, feeling a headache coming on.

Just then—

Swish!

Without warning, she swung her scepter toward an empty space beside her.

Boom!

Lev, who had just arrived, immediately evaded the attack and moved several meters away.

He glanced at the damaged floor before looking around the hall.

"Huh?"

Lev raised an eyebrow.

The five Titled Douluo who had been present yesterday were nowhere to be seen.

"This is quite an unexpected greeting."

Lev smiled as he looked toward the frowning Bibi Dong.

"So, how about it? Did you think about what I told you yesterday?"

Bibi Dong didn't answer.

Her eyes remained fixed on Lev.

What occupied her mind wasn't his question, but the attack she had launched moments ago.

That strike had been executed at full speed and power.

Yet Lev had avoided it effortlessly.

More importantly, she hadn't sensed his arrival at all.

How had he appeared?

And just how powerful was he?

Even Bibi Dong couldn't immediately find an answer.

"Looks like you're still undecided."

Lev broke the silence, seemingly unconcerned by her hostile expression.

"You must get bored sitting here all day, so I might as well stay and watch you work."

He glanced around the enormous hall before casually searching for a comfortable place to sit.

He wasn't merely staying because he wanted to annoy Bibi Dong.

Since he had already come to Spirit Hall, he also wanted to understand how the organization operated from the inside. Spirit Hall had stood at the pinnacle of the continent for countless years, and there had to be a reason for its influence and structure.

Perhaps observing Bibi Dong's daily work would allow him to understand it better.

With that decision made, Lev simply stayed.

The entire day.

Using his Invincibility skill, he remained inside the hall without the slightest concern for any possible attack.

Surprisingly, Bibi Dong didn't try to force him out.

She merely continued handling her affairs while occasionally glaring at him whenever he spoke.

"You're really busy."

"Of course I'm busy. Unlike someone who has nothing better to do than annoy me."

"Do you need help?"

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Then I'll keep watching."

"..."

Every exchange pushed Bibi Dong closer to her limit.

Yet she endured.

She knew that acting rashly against Lev would accomplish nothing. If anything, it might give him another opportunity to ridicule her.

So, despite the irritation building inside her, Bibi Dong maintained her composure and continued working.

At the same time, countless thoughts were already running through her mind.

If brute force couldn't solve the problem, then perhaps there was another way.

She merely needed to find it.

For now, she would endure this troublesome Emperor's presence.

But sooner or later, she would make Lev regret treating the Supreme Pontiff of Spirit Hall so casually.

**********

—Two weeks later—

Library,

Two weeks had passed since Lev began visiting the Spirit Hall Palace every day.

Surprisingly, he hadn't experienced the slightest retaliation during that entire period. Bibi Dong continued to tolerate his presence despite the obvious irritation she showed whenever he was around.

However, Lev knew better than to believe that everything was truly peaceful.

Although nothing had happened on the surface, he could feel the atmosphere surrounding the palace becoming increasingly heavy with each passing day. Something was clearly being planned behind the scenes.

This time, after leaving the Supreme Pontiff's Palace, Lev decided to change his routine and visit the library.

As he casually walked between the shelves, he soon noticed a familiar figure sitting in a corner.

Qian Renxue.

She was once again immersed in a book.

"Do you really love reading so much that you come here almost every day?"

Lev casually spoke as he approached her and reached for a book from the shelf.

During the past two weeks, he hadn't visited the library even once because he had been more interested in observing the Spirit Hall and its operations. However, he already knew that Qian Renxue had been coming here almost every day.

After all, Spirit City had long been under his observation.

Qian Renxue lowered the book in her hands and looked at him.

For the past two weeks, she had indeed been coming to the library regularly, partly because she genuinely enjoyed reading and partly because she had been hoping to encounter Lev again.

Yet despite her efforts, she hadn't sensed even the slightest trace of him.

"I thought you would eventually show up."

She narrowed her eyes slightly.

Lev smiled.

"I could say the same about you."

Qian Renxue frowned at his response.

Lev then glanced around the library.

"I thought this was supposed to be a library."

He looked at the crowd surrounding them.

"I've never seen one this noisy."

Qian Renxue followed his gaze and immediately understood what he meant.

The day after their first encounter, rumors about her meeting with a handsome young man had spread throughout Spirit City.

Apparently, someone had seen the two of them talking in the library, and the story had quickly grown into something far more interesting than what had actually happened.

Qian Renxue had already heard the rumors herself.

Some people had even teased her about meeting a mysterious handsome man.

None of them knew that the person they were talking about was the Emperor who had already conquered two great empires and possessed enough power to threaten the entire continent.

"People really have nothing better to talk about."

Qian Renxue muttered with a slight frown.

Lev chuckled.

"That's people for you."

He then glanced toward the entrance before looking back at her.

"It's almost lunchtime."

Qian Renxue raised an eyebrow.

"I bet you know a good place to eat around here. How about taking me there?"

He paused for a moment before adding,

"You can ask me whatever you want while we're there. I promise I won't do anything."

Qian Renxue stared at him suspiciously.

"You expect me to believe that?"

Lev shrugged.

"You'll find out soon enough."

The truth was that Lev simply wanted to leave the library.

Too many people were staring at them, and some of those gazes carried obvious hostility. He could already sense several people watching him with malicious intentions, and he had no desire to deal with unnecessary trouble.

Qian Renxue, however, didn't mind the possibility of another rumor spreading.

If anything, she saw it as an opportunity.

She had been waiting for a chance to question Lev privately, and he had just handed her one.

"Fine."

She closed her book and stood up.

"I know a restaurant nearby."

"Perfect."

Lev smiled.

The two then left the library together.

As soon as they stepped outside, countless curious gazes followed them.

Qian Renxue ignored them completely.

For now, she was more interested in the questions she wanted to ask the mysterious Emperor walking beside her.

*****

Restaurant,

After escaping the countless gazes following them, Lev and Qian Renxue finally found some peace inside a quiet restaurant.

The two sat across from each other and began eating without saying a word. For a while, the only sounds between them were the faint clinking of utensils and the occasional movement of dishes.

The atmosphere was awkward.

Eventually, Lev decided to break the silence.

"So, tell me. What do you want to know?"

Qian Renxue paused.

She had originally wanted to ask about his purpose for coming to Spirit City, but she suspected that Lev would simply give her the same vague answer as before.

After thinking for a moment, she decided to ask something else.

"Why are you so strong?"

"Hmm..."

Lev thought about it briefly before answering casually.

"Because I've taken so many lives."

Qian Renxue's body stiffened.

"W-What?"

She stared at him in disbelief.

She wasn't naïve enough to think that killing was completely unrelated to strength. After all, countless spirit masters had gained experience through life-and-death battles. However, Lev's answer sounded as though he had personally walked through countless battlefields.

Before she could finish her next question, Lev immediately interrupted her.

"It's not what you think."

He looked at her with a faint smile.

"Do you really think I'm that kind of person?"

Qian Renxue remained silent.

She carefully observed him for a moment before remembering that Lev didn't possess the sinister aura commonly associated with Evil Soul Masters.

His presence was powerful, but it wasn't inherently malicious.

Still, a faint trace of fear remained in her eyes.

After all, she had already witnessed enough to know that the young man sitting before her was far from ordinary.

The conversation then gradually shifted to other topics.

They continued eating like ordinary people, occasionally exchanging small talk. As time passed, the awkwardness between them slowly disappeared.

For a brief moment, neither of them was thinking about empires, Spirit Hall, or the looming conflict between them.

They were simply two people having lunch together.

Eventually, the meal came to an end.

The two parted ways afterward, each returning to their respective affairs.

**********

—Night—

Supreme Pontiff's Palace Hall,

Inside the quiet palace hall, a man stood before Bibi Dong and delivered his report.

After finishing, he bowed respectfully and left the hall upon receiving her dismissal.

Once she was alone, Bibi Dong narrowed her eyes.

So, he left early just to meet Renxue...

She had already heard the rumors circulating throughout Spirit City, but she had never imagined that the mysterious young man accompanying Qian Renxue was actually Lev.

Just when did those two become so familiar with each other?

A complicated feeling surfaced within Bibi Dong.

Regardless of how distant their relationship had become, Qian Renxue was still her daughter.

She couldn't help but wonder whether Lev had some ulterior motive toward her.

What are you planning now, Lev?

Bibi Dong pondered the matter for a while before finally letting out a quiet sigh.

**********

—Two weeks later—

Supreme Pontiff's Palace Hall,

Another two weeks passed.

By now, Lev had stayed in Spirit City for an entire month.

During that time, he had learned quite a lot about Bibi Dong.

Despite their constant disagreements, he couldn't deny that she was an extraordinary woman.

She was decisive, disciplined, intelligent, and possessed the qualities of a natural leader.

If circumstances had been different, Lev might have even admired her more.

Unfortunately, the two of them stood on opposite sides.

"So, this is how it ends."

Lev smiled faintly before letting out a sigh.

He had already sensed something unusual.

Several unfamiliar presences were surrounding the palace hall.

There was no doubt about it.

Spirit Hall had finally made its move.

Lev calmly looked around.

He had stayed here for an entire month, and apparently, Bibi Dong had finally reached her limit.

There was no longer any possibility of ending this peacefully.

Across from him, Bibi Dong sat upon her throne with an unusually calm expression.

Their eyes met.

For a brief moment, neither of them spoke.

Then—

"Attack!"

Bibi Dong's voice echoed throughout the hall.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Countless spirit abilities erupted simultaneously.

Every Titled Douluo that Spirit Hall could mobilize had participated in the operation. The terrifying barrage completely engulfed the palace hall.

Yet the expressions of the attackers soon changed.

Lev remained standing in the center of the destruction.

An enormous magical barrier had appeared around him, completely shielding him from the combined assault.

***Madoka***

The protective barrier shimmered brilliantly as it effortlessly withstood the bombardment.

Just as Lev had expected, they had spent an entire month preparing for this moment.

They had studied his abilities, gathered their strongest forces, and prepared a coordinated attack specifically designed to overwhelm him.

Unfortunately for them, they had still underestimated the difference between their strength and his.

At the same time, the familiar sound of the system began echoing inside Lev's mind.

Lev slowly raised his eyes.

He looked through the barrier at the numerous Titled Douluo surrounding him.

His gaze eventually settled on Bibi Dong.

"I hope you won't regret this decision."

His voice was cold.

Lev had never enjoyed killing.

He had repeatedly tried to resolve matters without unnecessary bloodshed, yet it seemed that every path he took eventually led to another battlefield.

People kept throwing their lives away in front of him.

If Spirit Hall had chosen peace, he would have accepted it.

But they had chosen war.

And Lev would not hesitate to finish what they had started.
