"So, these crystals can be used as money and power ups?" Mei-Mei observed crystal.
"Yes but you are a bit too young to absorb them. When you do, it can up you level. So until you are older, I will be keeping them for you " Hao-Hao gathered the crystals and poured them back into their bag.
The door creaked open and Li-li came in, holding a tray containing their breakfast. Mei-Mei closed the door and Hao help Li-li with the heavy tray.
Li-li gave a bowl of noodles to Hao-Hao and her daughter then, sat on the bed with her own food.
"Mama, chopsticks." Mei-Mei said and her mother handed her a pair of wooden chopsticks. Surprisingly, she held them properly and finished the noodles.
"Li-li, you know we are both fox spirits." Hao nodded at his child. "We eat more meat than other spirits."
He was complaining about the generous amount of meat he was given and Li-li quickly got it
"Daddy, I will go get some meat from the kitchen."
Mei-Mei volunteered and before her parents refused, she rushed out the door. She could find her way there. All she needed to do was ask for directions.
There were several adults and children running around. She spotted a girl around her age, holding two crates of apples. She couldn't even see where she was going and was about to fall when Mei-Mei grabbed a crate.
The girl had blonde hair and green eyes. She had a cute fluffy tail and an adorable smile. She wore a similar dress as Mei-Mei but her gown was blue and green.
Mei-Mei smiled at her and asked for directions to the storeroom and helped carry the crate away. Taking a bag of sun dried chicken, she rushed back toher room, only to be stopped by a group of women.
They sneered and laughed at her, forgetting her background. A woman pushed through the crowd, a woman vaguely familiar.
