Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

It was almost sunset.I was walking down the road in the same way, which was becoming very quiet and scary,as if the builder of the road knew what I was afraid of.I was on an endless journey which would probably end before my death.Anyways,it was my own choice.

My heart would forget to beat whenever a bat passed over my head.I had heard that bats bite off ears, with that fear I kept moving forward with my hands over my ears. The darkness of the night had come.Only I was supported by the light of the moon.Even then I was cursing it that if you had taken more light from the sun today, there would have been no resurrection. But still I was grateful to it.By the way,no black cat crossed my path but I don't know why it was such a bad day.

I neither wanted to move forward in the dark night nor stopped on this road in the dense forest .Not understanding anything, suddenly the sound of horse hooves was heard from behind. When I looked back in shock,an old man was coming near me riding on a horse carriage. I was scared, but seeing a human being made me extremely happy, like a giant seeing a human being after centuries. I waved my hand and stopped him.He seemed weak and good natured.I asked hesitantly : "Grandpa where are you going ? "

He spoke sincerely as if my grandfather had risen from the grave; " I am going to the house,if you want, you can also sit down . Today, anyway, there is less income."

Hearing the word income ,I got nervous and wondered if he would take wages from me.I had money left over just to feed myself.Because I had not yet had the pleasure of working anywhere permanently.

By the way, I myself didn't want to work anywhere permanently.Because being imprisoned in one place did not seem less than a punishment to me.Well, what could I do.I rode on the carriage with a heavy heart. So then what ! The person whom I had happily made my grandfather considered me as his granddaughter. So then only me and my God knows my state. Our horse carriage was moving along this terrible road when suddenly the horse's foot slipped and I fell away.

"Wasn't it really like a dream ? "

"Wasn't everything strange that happened to me today ? "

I don't care what anyone says.It was the strangest day of my life.I groaned in pain. Grandpa was standing aside smiling.I looked at him with widely open eyes.He spoke very gently; (as if nothing had happened, even though my world had turned upside down) I have got used to it.It is not difficult for me to cope with this situation. The arm was hurting as if someone had cut it.I felt like the horse was smiling at me. I wanted to punch it.But oh my arm ! I stood up. Grandfather supported me and we again left for our destination. In no time the lights of the fire began to appear. It seemed as if thousands of stars had come down to earth. It was a small village. Lanterns were hanging outside the huts.It was like stepping into heaven from hell. I had never seen such a beautiful sight till today.Well, it wasn't long before I started my journey.

We had entered the village. It was late at night. Maybe that's why there was a lot of silence. We went to a small hut and stopped.

Grandpa said , "My daughter, you go inside and sleep comfortably on my bed. I go and sleep in the animal mansion." "Is there anyone else inside?" I asked hesitantly. He said, "Yes, it is your grandmother. Try not to make noise, otherwise she will start entertaining you now." I looked around with such eyes that he understood and said, "Daughter, you are hungry, so come with me. There is a river nearby. If we get any fish, we will fry it and eat it, otherwise we shall have to sleep hungry.I told you that income was less today. There was no food in it."I was so embarrassed and said that it is okay, I am not very hungry anyway."But still I went fishing on the canal on his insist.

Wow! What a beautiful sight it was. The shadow of the moon in the river was like that as if it was greeting me.The stars looked like pearls. I wished I could stay here forever. For a moment it crossed my mind, but the next moment I shook myself and reminded myself that I just had to move on.There is no stopping. Grandfather shouted happily, and I jumped out of the world of thoughts."The fish is stuck,

daughter, the fish is stuck."

I quickly collected dry wood and lit the fire. Then I sprinkled some spices on the fish and fried the fish and extinguished the stomach fire (which was burning in the morning). It was truly a golden night that I got lost in. Its night was golden many times more than the day was ominous. How strange is the human being, I don't know when to change. Earlier, I used to call this day the most horrible, but now I was wishing that it would always be this time.

I kept thinking about how the journey ahead would be. I wish it would be like this, first the good and then the bad so that I don't remember the bad part in the good part at all because my journey was not one of those that ended. My only wish is that may my journey never end. Not even until I die.
