Chapter 343 - Free pass.

Instantly, the two cheetah halfling turned into nothing but a blur and the next thing the others heard was a clash as the two held each other's hands twitching and pushing in.

At the moment, it was a battle of strength alone as the two's speed seems to be equal to each other.

After a moment of struggle or so, the two soon found out that just like their equal speed, their strength seems to be equal as well, this made them both break out from each other and started circling the area.

"Wow... What a great speed, I can't even see keep up," an eagle halfling said as she scanned the area.

The same could be said for the others since they can barely make out where the two cheetahs are.

"That's one thing about cheetahs, those things are just too fast and also seem to have a lot of stamina to back it up," Lyon mumbled.

Lyon of course has taken samples of the halfling DNA and could tell what exact boost their form gives them.

"That's not it... Those two are having a hard time on their side, everything about them seems to be equal. Their, strength, speed and stamina," Nate said as he watch the fight closely.

Although the cheetah was fast, Nate could still keep up with them though he was finding it hard to do so just with only his speed alone.

As the per moved, some particles of dust were now raising and soon a doom has been created encasing the two.

It was at this moment the two stopped for a brief moment and looked each other dead in the eye.

In the next instance, the two were already on the run however this time, they were heading towards each other.

Their palm glows could be seen as they throw them out clashing with each other.

Bang...!!!

The bang was so loud that the others nearby has to stop to look at what has just happened.

Due to the force from the strike, the specks of dust were pushed away allowing the others to now get a clear view of what had just happened.

"Quick... Call the healer!!" one other halfling shouted.

The two hands were badly damaged and their bond could even be seen at their ankle.

Lynn soon arrived with a few other halflings whose form gave them some sort of power that can heal.

Luckily, the two were still conscious and Lynn was able to use her power more efficiently to hear them and even restored their energy.

"Now it's time to select the next fighters," Lyon said as he looked at the cloud once again.

"It's of no use, they will fight again," Nate said.

"What...!!" Lyon looked at Nate but it was an order.

The two cheetahs can still fight. Not only have their wound been healed, their energy as well has been restored to its peak and they can still have another match.

Soon, it started with the two ending up with the previous results. Surprisingly, Nate has demanded that the two continue fighting.

"One of you must surpass each other!" he said to the two when he noticed that they were already thinking perhaps Nate was just punishing them.

Although their energy was being restored after the fight, Nate have instructed Lynn not to take away the strains.

With this, although the two were energies, their body was aching as hell. Eventually, one of them couldn't take it anymore and passed out on the ground.

The other was barely even standing and soon also fall.

While under the Golgotha, they know nothing about day and night since they were already underground.

The cave has been lit up with some strange device marks created while hanging them on the ceilings. This made the place look a bit like a nightclub.

Eventually, the training session has finally come to an end with everyone leaving with their body in immense pain.

[Congratulations a silver medal has been granted]

'Nice... After fighting them I got a reward,' Nate thought.

After the two cheetahs have passed out, Nate has decided to duel with the rest.

Surprisingly, then, the system has brought a message for him.

[Win the duel against multiple opponents]

[Rewards = Gold medal]

At first, the system offered a gold medal. In this fight, Nate didn't bother to hold back that much, he was only being careful to avoid killing any of them.

Soon, the match ended and he was granted a gold medal, however, Nate was not done yet.

After Lynn was done healing the halflings, Nate demanded another fight and this time the system offered a reward but it was a silver medal.

Regardless, Nate still took it upon himself to get those medals. He won the fight.

Just like before, he wished to continue the fight but the system won't give him any more rewards. Because of this, Nate decided to end the training section for now.

[Gold medal has been used]

[1,000,000 exp points gained]

[100,000 skill points have been gained]

Nate was satisfied with the result, he was not expecting much though but having more skill points was something good.

[Silver medal has been used]

[Free pass]

It was just a reward but Nate has no idea what it can do.

[Free pass = This is a one-time use item that will allow the host to reach the requirement of learning a skill without actually reaching the requirement. Of course, this depends on the number of free passes needed]

Seeing this, Nate seriously marvelled. With this, there is a particular skill he wanted from the skill shop but has not yet reached the requirements.

[Skill wart]

[Phantom figure]

[Free pass has been used... The host can now purchase the skill phantom figure]

With this, Nate didn't hesitate and did the purchase at that moment.

Normally, the requirement for Nate to learn the phantom figure skill was to have at least about a hundred agility points, but with the free pass, he can now learn the skill without reaching the requirement.

[Skill points = -50,000 points]

[Phantom figure has been learned]

At that moment, unlike other skills, Nate didn't feel the rush of information into his mind, rather it was his body that somehow was now changing.

[Phantom figure = This skill grants the host the ability to clone himself into numerous Phantom clones that can also attack their opponent with fifty percent of the host's strength]

[Note= this skill can only be active while the host is running]

Seeing this, Nate was not disappointed at all, the skill was worth it. The only thing Nate was hoping was that this clone can also wield a weapon.

He will uncover it by testing it out, however, before he could do that though, he noticed Lyon walking up to him.

Nate looked at him with a question mark on his face.

"I was wondering when... I mean when will you let them know that their condition could be changed?" Lyon asked.

Nate already know where this particular talk was leading to. Lyon was speaking of healing the halflings. Ever since Lyon started training them, he has come to understand how the halflings felt about their body. Most of them have to run away from their families because of what they are and it hurts Lyon a lot that he can do something about their condition yet won't do it.

"Honestly, I have been thinking about it, but what if they leave, you know the reason why I am gathering people?" Nate said as he understood how Lyon felt.

"I don't think they will. Especially, Tigger... He should be aware of the danger concerning Ozzie and am sure he would love to assist in taking him down. And you know what, if Tigger is with us, so are the others," Lyon said.

For the first time, Nate was surprised that Lyon could come to an excellent conclusion by himself.

With that being said, Nate decided to take the risk and he and Lyon went out looking for Tigger.

Finding him was not a problem because he and Zee along with Bull was having their training.

"So Tigger... I want to ask you a question... How do you feel about getting your human form back?" Nate asked.
