An asap call has been dropped on the other end, and in no time, Nate and his horde were now heading towards the location Lyon and Sin were.
On getting there in the vehicle they have, Nate was looking around to find any possible reason they were called there.
However, he had not seen any eye-catching things he hadn't seen before.
On reaching, he also noticed that a small boy seems to be in their midst.
"Did you find anything?" Nate asked about getting down from the vehicle.
"Yeah... Look behind you?" Lyon said.
Turning back, Nate's gaze landed on the figure standing on top of the building nearby.
Nate started to feel some sense of familiarity till the person eventually approached him.
"Isn't that Peter...?" Twain and Bull who have also come out wondered.
Soon, the figure jumped down from the building landing right in front of Nate.
"Peter...?! What are you doing here, how did you even get to this place?"
By this time, everyone inside the vehicle has decided to come out.
"What do you think am doing here?!.. Waiting for you of course," Peter said as he walked through.
"You are coming here?!" Nate asked.
"Yeah, that man that took you away told me that you will be returning here soon, so I decided, rather than returning, I came here to wait for you," Peter explained.
"Men... I thought you were lost," Nate said. By this time, Peter was already close enough and the brother due soon wrapped each into a hug.
After the two pulled away, Peter continued to explain how he got to the forever winter land with only the intention of saving Nate. He explained all the things he have encountered on the way.
"That's not what we are here for, storytelling. On your stay here, did you not find a way to get into the city, I mean another way without being checked?" Sin interrupted Peter.
Those who know Peter already were afraid of how the latter will react to this, but Peter shrugged it off.
"Even if you manage to bypass those checking at the border, you will still be discovered. Each building there has a zombie virus sensor," Peter explained.
"Anyways, what exactly are we going to do in this place?" Peter asked.
This time, it was Nate's turn to explain things to Peter. After the explanation was done, Peter was left to think.
"I have run into this whitebonez a couple of times, honestly, those creatures are really annoying to fight against, anyways, I definitely will kick their ass whenever they showed up," Peter said pounding his fist on his palm.
"You have fought against the whitebonez before" Everyone was shocked.
"What are you guys talking about, brother peter is stronger than anyone I have ever seen," the pig little boy from before said as he stood beside Peter.
Honestly, Nate was not shocked to hear this news, Peter was strong after all, and this was one of the reasons he didn't bother to start seeking the latter's whereabouts in the first place. Nate strongly believes that even if there is a power stronger than Peter, it won't be strong enough to prevent him from running away.
Nate then glanced at Lyon. "Are you planning to take his beast DNA forever or something?" Nate asked.
"Nooaaa, that form is weak though," Lyon said as he pulled out the syringe that contains the little boy's altered DNA.
Seeing this, the boy stepped back behind Peter.
"What, don't you want your power back or are you afraid of needles?" Lyon asked placing the syringe away.
"No...I don't want it anymore, you can keep it to yourself," the little boy said.
Everyone was perplexed as to why he wouldn't accept his power back.
Meanwhile, Peter seems to know why the little boy won't want to take his power back.
"There is someone else about this place that you don't know. You are looking for someone who is behind the creation of the whitebonez, I might know someone who can answer that for you," Peter said.
Nate's eyes light up on hearing this. 'It's a good thing that you came here after all,' Nate smiled.
Soon, the group entered one of the buildings by the side. From the bathroom of the house, Peter opened a small hole in the ground which they all went in.
Soon, they found themselves in what looked like a tunnel. The tunnel was large enough to size a couple of cars at once though, and had some marble on its wall.
Peter started to walk down the tunnel and the others followed him.
It has been a while since they started walking yet nothing was in sight.
"Why can't we just run if it's this far," Lyon said.
"If we run, our footsteps will echo through the tunnel, alerting those on the other end. This might lead them to start attacking us," Peter explained.
After another moment of silence, Lyon came again with another question.
"How were you able to cross the first and second border?" lyon asked.
"The first was pretty hard because I have to blend as one of the guards to pass through, while the second was pretty easy,"
"All I have to do was to run fast, fast enough that they won't be able to see me coming," Peter explained.
It was hard to tell if he was lying, but why will Peter lie over such a casual matter like this? This only means one thing and that is he was telling the truth.
This also left Nate wondering if with his light foot skill, would he surpass Peter in terms of speed. However, unbeknownst to Nate, Peter also have light foot skill which would make it impossible for him to catch up.
Finally, something have come into view and it was two people standing like guards in front of them.
The two looked like buffalo, their muscle was intense and intimidating to look and their gave was sharp, piercing through the eyes of the others.
The two seem not to mind them as they pass. However, that was until they held on to someone.
"Humans are not allowed here," one of the buffalo men said in a thick scary voice as he held onto Lynn.
In Nate's horde, Lynn was the only one still with human scent on her. Although she might have become some Nate couldn't explain entirely, that doesn't mean she was not a human.
"Get your hands off her before I break them...!" lyon yelled preparing to rush forward, but it was then he saw someone else acting.
"Let go of her, she's with me," Peter said to the buffalo.
"But..." Before the man could really back, Peter interrupted him.
"Let...go...of...her...!" Peter shouted looking into the buffalo's eyes.
Instantaneously, the buffalo let go of Lynn and she ran towards Lyon.
"Just know you were so close to being dead," Lyon scoffed at the buffalo guard and continue with the others to move into the tunnel.
"It seems like you they know you, or should I say fear you," Nate said with a smile.
Peter could only shrug his shoulder as they continued to walk in.
"But, why are they like that, I mean, why are they in their altered form, isn't that exhaustive to them?" Nate asked.
"Honestly, I still don't understand much about them, but the person we will be meeting might explain things clearer to you," Peter said.
Soon, the others finally saw a little on the end. Seeing this, they quickly increased their pace.
On reaching the end of the tunnel, they were shocked by the scene before them.
Right in front of them was a large space underground. The space was at least the size of the general goo entire base, and on this vast space was multiple building made from wood and stone. On the ground, they could see people strolling around minding their business.
If not for the fact that they were still underground and couldn't see the daylight at this moment, Nate and others would have thought they were in another town.
"What is all this ... High intelligence zombies, and also more beast people," Mark noticed a few walking around as zombies.
"Well, welcome to the town of Golgotha," Peter introduced.
