Lynn was hovering in the sky with dark aura covering her body, multiple green and black orb were going out and coming into her body. Precisely, the green orb is the orb that grants those within their base cycle quick recovery and great strength that kept them going.
While the black orb that was entering her body was the pain of those that were injured and that of the soul that was trapped inside the body of the matrix slaves. With this much pain and sorrow going inside her body, the number of green orbs leaving her body was large big and her horns kept growing brighter Lily and Johnson who has been beside her were wearing sunglasses to prevent themselves from getting blind, although it would be taken away by Lynn, they still decided to wear the glasses.
Their base was really pushing the matrix back as they moved further inside the city and were slowly getting out from the forest area.
"Who are those people and why are they being brought back here," Lily asked spotting a group of people carrying what seems like people that mostly have lost their arms heading back towards the base.
One thing she noticed is that none of the faces of those that were brought back didn't seems familiar. Having lived with the people of her base for also most three months now, as their leader, she knows everyone that was very vibrant and active in the base.
Her question was directed towards Johnson, but the old folks didn't have an answer to that, however, someone came landing before them. "I used to be a slave to the matrix group, but after being saved by the one you called Lyon, he instructed I should free as much as I can that was trapped by the matrix," Bird said.
Of course, Lily and Johnson didn't trust him and decided to find out, she quickly telecommunicated with Lyon and the other proves that he was truly the one that sent Bird.
"If that's so, we need to stop killing them and find a way to free them," Lily said as she was helping the others to bring those that have lost their hands towards Lynn.
With that, they issued a command that all men should try to rip the hands of the matrix slave and then bring them back to Lynn. Meanwhile, Lynn seeing what was happening was healing the injured ones that were being brought to her.
Normally, it would have been easy for her to heal all of them if they are either among Nate's horde or have pledged to serve the base. Because of this, all her attention was now on those that were brought to her.
Meanwhile, the matrix seems to have found the reason behind the power the base was getting and a few people far from the distance pointed out some bazooka at her and aimed at once.
Because she was busy dealing with the others, her attention wasn't in the front rather was on the ground, the missiles were heading towards her.
However, a large muscular human that was at the height of a story building appeared before her and took the shots heads one.
About five missiles hit one body and yet nothing was happening. The men that just shoot those rockets were getting ready to shoot out another one when the muscular dude leapt up and landed right in front of them. He swung his hand and grabbed those that were aiming, with one squeeze, the men's body was shredded into nothing but body.
The man didn't waste time jumping again towards Lily's side. 'Maybe it was not a bad idea not killing you, although it's unnecessary since I can't die from those rather I will get stronger but you still did a good job,' Lily thought and with a wave of her hand, all the wounds on Hulk's body disappeared.
It was Hulk that just took the missiles, he wasn't much engage in the fight rather, his job that was specially assigned by Lyon was to protect Lynn and that was all he intended to do.
With all this development happening, more people seem to be returning as it seems like the people with the matrix have finished. Soon, Lyon accompanied by Ron, Tony, and a few others started to join in. The last that appeared was Bull followed by his military personnel.
"Wait, is it all over?" Tony asked with confusion as they could barely see anyone fighting.
They all went ahead to meet up with V and the others while Lyon and the rest of Nate's horde left to get the former matrix slaves to pledge to their territory.
"This is far from over, from what I calculated, they are 25500 warriors and what we have here is no were close to that," Mark said as he was holding a palm top on his arm as he go through the eyes of the horde.
"Let's count our numbers first and know how much have died on our side," Lyon suggested and soon it was counted and after that they were stunned.
"No way we faced such amount of people and none of us died, how is that even possible, even if we all are superhuman and they are normal human beings at least someone should have died," Tony said.
"Someone is underestimating my power," Lynn's voice suddenly sounded from the sky.
If there is anyone that should be thanked, it was Lynn. She was the one that has been taking their pain and injuries out of their body and she was even boosting them with energies that made a normal human match with a superhuman.
"Yeah, she really was the reason we are going this far, like, I couldn't even imagine how many times I could have been killed," Tony said getting the others to shower some words of praise at Lynn but she declined it that instant.
"Whether we lost no men or not, it's to our advantage and with this person that is now added to our number, we now stand about multiple chances of winning this battle," Lyon said and the others cheered.
Just then, they all could hear and feel the ground rumble as a stone and other particles that were on the ground were bouncing.
"It's them, they are coming again and this time, they are with full force, if we can deal with this, then it will be all over and everyone can go home and rest," Mark announced making it clear that the people heading towards them were strong and also large in number, but most importantly, they are the last trick the matrix has to pull.
"You all remember, those people are innocent, if you have the chance, free them from their bondage," with Lyon saying those few words, Lynn started sending off more orbs to the people around her.

Meanwhile, Nate was clueless about what was currently happening behind him, he just has this weird feeling that those behind are okay and that he should keep heading in the direction he is heading.
Though one thing was clear, he was seeing fewer people that were enslaved by the matrix and even the few he saw were heading in a particular direction, ignoring him even after they sees him.
'Getting your ass whopped, I bet you guys didn't see this coming,' Nate thought as he calmly walked in a certain direction that his instinct was leading him to.
'Since Lyon and the others will be there, I don't think much will happen and with the rate, I'm getting more notifications on the pledge, we definitely are the winning side, ' Nate thought, however, he suddenly stopped after getting to a four corner joint with a broken street light.
"What do you mean by this?"

Nate was confused at this notification since he couldn't see anyone in the street. However, it was then a voice came from behind.
"Long time no see Nate," Kai was the one that spoke as he came out from his hideout.
Nate's body stiffed as he recognized the voice and who it belongs to.
"Kai," he muttered and twisted his neck to the back to be left shocked.
"Five Kai?"
