At first, Nate thought it might have been their side that was being beaten up to the extent that Lynn's power has to be used up to the degree it was now., however, when looking at his surroundings, he could tell that they are yet to meet up with the battalion which means that they are still using long-range weapons and the battalions were going down though it was not at a degree where the winner would be decided already they are still doing.
However, I became clear to him after Lynn was shouting out the matrix Nate. Bull has explained his experience when being under the hands of the matrix and from what Nate now, their soul seems to be trapped and yet was conscious and could see things that are currently happening.
No doubt it will be hellish to have your body controlled against your will and you are aware of all this and yet couldn't do anything about it, you will be pained in the side, arise, you can't do anything about it.
The pain that those that were trapped and were being manipulated by the matrix, was this pain that Lynn was absorbing, and judging from the number of those who understand the matrix, it was too much for her to take at once and that's why right now she was evolving.
After her horn was now made two, a dark aura was surrounding her covering her entire body excited from her hand and her face. Her voice was sending chills down the spine of those beside her as she laughed uncontrollably.
Regardless of the changes occurring on her body, multiple green orbs were being projected out of her body into those beside her and others that were far.
"What are you guys doing, go make you of them, hahaha!" she struggled to say those words without chuckling.
Soon, those that felt the energy that kept entering their body started racing towards the battalions. Those that have been shooting have stopped as they joined the fight.
Of course, the battalion was still shooting but it was useless, it has been made clear to the entire base that their most vital spot was their head, as long as they didn't get hit on the head and got their brain damaged, Lynn can hear them of any sort of wound they sustain and that was why they were mandated to wear a helmet.
Seeing that the guns were not useless, the matrix battalion didn't stick to using them, they quickly put it off and used their hands to counterattack with the base men.
Soon, those that have powers started using them on their opponent. A man from the base was punched by a matrix man, no doubt, it was strong and the person that suffered such a strike was an old folk with wrinkles on his face.
It was expected for him to fall, however, he grabbed the foeman's hand and slammed him on the floor. He didn't just stop there, the other hand was pulled out from its shoulder allowing it to fall to the ground.
'With this ring out of your arm you are freed, ' the old man thought and moved to the next person towards him.
Regardless that he was old but for some reason, an energy that could only see inside a beast was burning in his body as he was filled with energy to fight, this was all thanks to the boost Lynn was distributing, to those that couldn't even lift a finger to kill an ant was now going against people ten times larger than them.
The old man was not the only person getting this feeling, this same thing could be said to the others that were fighting alone.
Seeing all this happening was Nate, he has just found his way up to a building and was watching everything that was happening.
"Maybe, with all this happening, with the help of Lynn and her power, this war will end quicker than expected," Nate thought.
"With this, I will get to look for the five people the system stated I will kill," Nate muttered as his eyes scanned through the system message he received earlier after the matrix men arrived.

"Finally, I go on a mission that is worth a platinum medal," Nate said happily but they soon vanished.
'This must not be easy, I could tell how tough a diamond medal quest is not to talk of platinum, ' Nate thought.
"Who cares, I will find them and extract some answers from them before killing them, and then I will take my platinum medal," Nate declared clenching his fist.
As the days go, it's easier said than done. Nate has no idea about the hardship he was about to meet, if he does, he would have known that at this moment, it will be impossible to kill all the matrix at once.
Regardless, a warning notification popped out that put a smile on his for a slight moment.
"You won't be doing nothing after all, Dike," he said.

Speaking of Dike, although he was told to stay with the other kids, there was no way he could do that, though he did flout nates order, he couldn't stop himself as he kept standing in the door of the safehouse while looking out to the direction he kept hearing gunshots and more explosive noise.
"Why me, you said I should train and get stronger to fight my enemies, why holding me back when the enemies are here," Dike couldn't help but regret not pushing further to disturb Nate.
With his enhanced hearing, he could hear the noise of an explosion coming from the front and he of all people know what it means, an intensive battle was currently going on and he was not participating in it.
"Why give me the power when you won't let me use it?!" Dike angrily said and punched the wall beside him. A fist hold was made and his hand went through it.
Just then, he suddenly heard a clapping noise from the side, only to see Mini clapping.
"Why are you clapping?" he asked frowning.
"That was impressive of course, a kid of my age capable to make a hole in a concrete wall isn't that amazing and impressive based on your age," Mini replied as she walked up to him.
"You know I'm different from you guys, and by the way, this is too little to compare what I can do," Dike said as his cheek turned red.
With all honesty, he likes the fact that those praises were coming from Mini. Ever coming to the base, she was the only kid that was not afraid to approach them.
"Who are those people?" Mini suddenly asked.
It was at this point did Dike realize that Mini was looking behind him and when he also turned back to see what she was talking about, he was shocked to the core by the Seven men that were walking calmly towards them.
On their chest were two words that were written in capital latter.
"ZOMBIE HUNTER!!!"
