"How much farther till we are in the clear?" Steve yelled as his fingers danced in the air, glowing runes floating and morphing into countless shields that were destroyed as fast as they were being created, his voice slightly trembling considering they were currently fleeing for their lives.
Cain extended his senses, trying to judge their position relative to the ground. "Maybe another thousand feet, give or take?"
The {Beholder's Eye} was particularly effective as he could see the rather elusive streams of chaotic energy that would be otherwise invincible to the naked eye.
His brows twitched as he muttered,
"Once we get below the main bulk of these damned rocks, we should see some safety."
"Should?"
"That was an optimistic assumption."
"Damn it!" Steve cursed through gritted teeth.
