"Sofia, I've known your dad for along time now and we were both into the same business.but all of a sudden your father started getting greedy and wanted everything for himself" Liam said "But your both working in the mafia, that means you had the same ambition so what makes my father different?" "my father might be working in the mafia but he does it to help the police. My father is a police officer he's only acting as a Mafia king to get the high up Mafia lords arrested." Liam stated clear, This was something neither him nor his father said to anyone but for some weird reason he totally trusted her and Is free with telling everything to her.
Sofia was transfixed on her seat trying to comprehend what she just heard "how can this be true? his just lieing, Will the police really have an officer join the mafia to catch bad guys? and what was dad doing with such people? I know his a crook but the mafia, there's no way his into it. I guess if I pester him some more he'll give me vital information about dad that could help me" she thought "okay so my dad is into the mafia and your dad is a police officer, that's bullshit, do you really expect me to believe that?? why would my dad want to join such group? yeah we all know his not nice and he cons people but he's no killer. I mean don't they kill their opponent in the mafia? he said acting furious "they do but your not getting the point" Liam answered her while trying so hard to cool temper "yeah and what's the point? your just trying to make me hate my dad he never did anything to you. maybe you wanted to invest in his business and he didn't give you a chance so your upset with him." she continued
"this is getting too much I can't allow her to continue backing that criminal up. if she loves him that much she'll not be able to watch him go to jail. but what can I do? she spent her whole life with him, she has every right to defend him. this is just so confusing I need to figure out a way to make her understand that his not a nice guy at all " Liam thought
Sofia seeing Liam in thought also wondered"I think my act is getting to him, I just need to push him a little bit more and I'll get what I want. really sorry Liam but I need to find my brother his the only one that can bring peace and sanity back into our home and I'll do whatever it takes to find him even if it means ruining a future partnership with a guy like you " she said before speaking up "hey, what are you thinking of? just answer me. your upset with my dad right? and you figured the only way to get to him is through me that's why you said you wanted to see me. but I won't let you get to him " she said

I've been with dad and mom ever since I was a baby so how could he say they aren't my parents " obviously seeing her confused Liam spoke up "you see , Damian found you after he cond your real parents and they died of depression while they where in debt he took you in but told his wife he found you on the street. Then she vowed to always be by your side and not tell you the truth because she thought you were a street orphan."
"so your trying to say Damian killed my real parents, took me in and lied to his wife and family about me?" she said finally finding her voice". "yes" was his short reply.
"I'll like to take my leave now"she said while getting up and heading towards the door. Liam couldn't stop her,he had no idea about how she's feeling after hearing such truth she needed time to get herself and he'll give her the time she needs.
