Darkness faded as Ray opened his eyes.
Sunlight fell on his eyes has he tried to adjust his vision. He looked around his surroundings
to see where he was. In his front he could see
waves of water splashing the shore
He looked to his right and left and saw sand everywhere. He looked to his back and saw trees similar to coconut trees on earth.
"Status" Ray said. In an instant a blue screen appeared in front of him.

"Why the hell is my luck so low? And also my endurance is low too!" Ray said. "Are this stats
average?" Ray wondered

Came a quick answer from the system. "What? Why are my stats so low?"
There came no answer.
'Okay what should I do now?' Ray had two options. One was that the he could enter the forest or explore the area near the sea shore.
'The first one is a total risk, as I don't know what kind of monsters or animals are lurking over there. So the only option remains is the second.' Ray thought.
Ray started walking to his right. He kept on walking without discovering anything strange.
'Just where am I?' Ray asked himself. Suddenly a huge shadow past above him.
He looked up to see a creature coming straight for him. Ray dodged at very last moment. The creature's sharp claws nearly missed him. He looked up to get better view of the creature. He saw a bird that looked similar to earth's seagull.
But it was huge. It was at least few inches bigger than Ray. Ray looked up saw a flock of these creatures circling above him.
He ran straight to the forest. The flock of birds kept on following him. Suddenly a of the birds swooped down to attack him. Ray tried to dodge it's attack, but he failed. The bird's sharp talons scratched Ray's back. He felt pain shot throughout his body. Ray increased his speed. Just as another bird was about to attack him once again, the sand behind Ray exploded as a red pincer came out grab the bird by it's neck, killing it.
Ray looked behind to see a huge creature coming out of sand. The creature was a weird combination between a shrimp and a crab.
It had the body of a shrimp, protected by the hard shell of a crab, the legs and eyes of a crab.
Birds quickly changed there prey to that creature. Soon they started fighting each other. Ray didn't wait to see who won. He ran towards the forest.
Ray didn't stop until he had reached a location where he felt safe. "Status." Ray said.

They weren't that deep like he thought they would be.
