Chapter 171: Absolute Peak
Raiken browsed the livestream mall for half an hour, scrolling through options, trying to find something; there were too many items, jutsu, skills and powers that he could buy from it.
But finding something new wasn't easy, especially since the items were never shown in the series, and he still didn't give up.
10 minutes later, he found it toward the end of a subcategory he had never opened before and paused when reading the description.
Absolute Peak Pill - Returns the body to its absolute peak condition. Older cells revert to a younger and stronger state while an underdeveloped body accelerates to full maturity. The result is the body at its maximum potential with no deterioration and no ceiling.
Raiken read the description twice.
Then he read the price and exhaled slowly through his nose before the smile appeared on his face.
"Hey chat," he said, pulling the interface to where the audience could see his reaction. "I found it, and before anyone says anything, yes, I read the earlier comments about the plan to break the plot completely, and yes, I am doing it."
[Audience D: Host, you are actually insane, but I respect it completely]
[Audience Z: Every other transmigrator or traveler I have ever read about uses the plot to stay safe and ahead of things. You are genuinely the first one I have seen who just decided to blow it up on purpose]
[Audience D: I have been waiting for this since you started the stream. I want to see Madara at full power against you so badly]
[Audience F: Host, please think about this carefully! Madara at full peak is not a joke]
[Audience G: He knows, that is literally why he wants to do it]
Raiken read through the comments with a smirk. He was no longer afraid of Madara and even yearned to face him one day, but waiting for him was too long. It was better to give him a chance to reach full power immediately.
5 Years ago, he was afraid of him because of the gap in strength, but now that gap no longer existed, and that meant there was no reason to keep the plot intact when he had the ability and resources to resolve it on his own.
So he was done waiting.
"Purchasing now," said Raiken, reaching forward and pressing the confirmation button on the interface; he had made the decision to face him now.
The pill materialized in his palm a moment later, small and for a moment he could smell something wonderful and pleasant. He turned it over once between his fingers, feeling the uniqueness of the pill or whatever had been compressed into it.
It was a bright yellow-green kind of pill; just by the smell, it felt really unique and wonderful, and he didn't know why this kind of pill even existed in the mall.
'So this is what absolute peak feels like before it even touches you,' thought Raiken. For a moment he wanted to swallow the pill, but it was better to give it to Madara instead.
He closed his fingers around it carefully and stood up.
"Now I just need to find an old man hiding in a cave somewhere," he said to the chat, already moving toward the door.
[Audience D: HE IS ACTUALLY GOING]
[Audience Z: I cannot believe I am watching this live]
[Audience F: Someone please stop him]
[Audience G: Nobody is stopping him and we all know it]
Raiken closed the livestream interface as he stepped outside and turned his attention to the more immediate question: exactly where Madara was hiding and how long it would take to get there.
"I got Sage Mode," said Raiken while facepalming himself.
He closed his eyes and entered Sage Mode before trying to find the location deep buried on earth.
"I found him," smiled Raiken.
He vanished from the place.
