Arabella initiating for them to do the deed already made Ferdinand quite happy.
However, when he realized her reason for doing so may not be what he had hoped for, it diminished his excitement a bit.
Ferdinand took a deep breath.
If Arabella was trying to distract him by initiating intimacy, then it was already working even before they did anything.
Arabella's words alone were enough to distract Ferdinand that she didn't even need to use the flowers scented like her to make him further unable to focus.
