The knock on the door made William, Kay and Archer look at the door. They all gulped in fear. Was she really there? Archer had just seen her throwing Bruce over her head like he weighed nothing. And now William had warned him, no, no, requested him not to tell Journee that he was shot. But why? What would happen if she knew about him being hurt?
"Yes!" said William, gulping. He didn't want her daughter to see blood oozing out of Archer's arms. He knew blood didn't bother her; Archer being shot wouldn't bother her, but the fact that he was hit by a member of the Hall family would hurt her deeply. She might even go into her panic mode. That was the start of her trauma, the Hall family shooting the Hall family. How was she going to cope with that?
